The experience my family had with this company was extremely positive. The two gentlemen who showed up to help us unload a 26foot Penske truck completely packed were fantastic! Kevin Parra and Bryan Ortega showed up on time, were professional, careful, and extremely hard workers. They would carry in our items and then RUN back out to the truck to grab more furniture and what not.

They finished within the estimated time frame, but more importantly to me, nothing was damaged, scratched or broken as a result of their efforts. The last item off the truck was a 1400 to 1500 pound Snap-On toolbox that would have made anyone flinch- not these guys. Getting one of these boxes off a truck even with a lift-gate is no joke, and my livelihood here in So-Cal depended on them doing it right.

We recently moved to Arroyo Grande, CA and hired Meathead Movers to unload the moving truck for us. We heard about them from a different moving company in Bakersfield. We were very pleased with the service Meathead Movers provided, from the scheduling staff to the movers! Our appointment was confirmed well in advance, and each person we talked to was friendly and very helpful. The guys that helped us had their work cut out for them, as we moved into an upstairs unit. We were impressed with how they jogged back to the moving truck each time they needed to get more items, instead of walking. We highly recommend this company!

Best money I've spent all year! Moving is such a drag, but these guys took most of the pain out of it - they came to our residence & gave us a best case/worst case quote. Couldn't say the same for the other guys recommended to us by our agent...

Day of - they were on time, nice, friendly, & attentive. They moved our fridge, washer & dryer down 2 flights of narrow stairs, in addition to all our boxes & furniture. They took great care in getting our things in & out without any damage - they had to take the door off the hinges to get the fridge into the new place.

Well worth every penny. Adam and Daniel moved everything in a VERY short amount of time. They don't waste a second. They are very strong and athletic and would run back to the truck after bringing in furniture. It's worth it just to watch the show!

I cannot praise Meathead Movers enough. I once had a terrible moving experience with another company, and these guys promised to change my opinion of movers and definitely delivered! An estimator named Hunter came out to meet me and survey the things to be moved. He was very professional, personable, reassuring, and did an excellent job explaining what would happen and all the costs involved. On move day, I had 3 courteous and friendly guys (Pedro, Brandon, and Christian) show up, who did a phenomenal job of wrapping, protecting, and carefully handling my things. I had glass tables and antiques that I had no worries about whatsoever. They were extremely fair price wise and gave me every discount and break they could include. No surprise costs, no broken or mangled things, no false promises. If I move again, I am only calling these guys!!

We were very pleased with the entire process from the 1st phone call, the estimate meeting, the move itself, & the follow-up phone calls. We had some heavy furniture, which had to go upstairs & they did a great job. They were professional, kind, quick, & friendly. We would recommend them to anyone.

Great job to Chris, Hector, Anthony, and Alex. These guys were very personable, nice, and STRONG!!! We had an in-state move from Lancaster CA to Arroyo Grande CA. We had an approx 1650 sq ft home with a lot of heavy furniture and about 100 small/medium boxes. They came from the Camarillo location and were on time at 10am in Lancaster. They did an initial walk-through and I was able to point out specific fragile boxes that were grouped together. These guys were a well orchestrated team, with no wasted movement or time. They brought plenty of furniture blankets, wrapped up all the furniture, and then put plastic wrap around the blankets. They had the whole house loaded in the truck in 3 hours!!! Chris, the lead, was loading the truck most of the time and he packed it from floor to ceiling. Very effective. Nothing was going to move around in the truck during transport. We met them the next morning in Arroyo Grande. They opened the truck and nothing had moved. They unloaded in 2 hours. Everything looks great. What more can I say?

I highly recommend Meathead Movers to anyone looking for professional, courteous, punctual, and exceptional customer service. Today Marc Cordi and Angel Gutierrez moved our entire guest bedroom to our off site storage unit. They treated our goods just like their own and didn't ding or scratch a thing. The move was seamless and non-stressful. I can't say enough good things about the entire process. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with Meathead Movers. Marc and Angel hustled the entire time and never stopped being 100% professional and courteous.. I work in the customer service industry and it's great to see this type of A+ service in the market place. We will definitely call on Meathead Movers for our next move.

Branda V.and Zack W. did a good job in moving our office furniture. The came with a huge moving truck with all the equipment you expected from a professional moving company. They are professional, polite and very easy to work with. I recommend their service highly.

This is my first move and I don't have the time to move everything that I had in two locations to my final destination. Meathead Movers (MM) came to both locations and packed up all of my stuff, wrapped it, and moved it into my house. Furthermore, I also had some items that needed assembly and they did that for me too. Two of the movers: Jeremy Simpson and Chris Koval are two individuals that deserve a lot of credit. Both individuals were on site for my parent's move and I observed them doing everything cautiously and efficiently--two things that I look for in customer service. Every person that I have contacted at MM has been incredible. I highly recommend their moving service and I will be using them for any and all moves.

I also used the unpack service which worked out great! If you are looking for a one stop shop type deal then MM is the way to go! I had Kellen Huber and Hailey Villa that assisted me with unpacking all of my stuff. They were very professional even though I gave them instructions to put things anywhere where it made sense. Everything made sense where they put things and I was very impressed.

Meathead Movers are the best. They really care for the items they move and for the people they move. Adam, DJ and Stephen were very conscientious and friendly but really hustled to get the work done. They were very helpful and understanding and were in constant contact with us. We would definitely recommend Meathead Movers anytime anybody needed to move. Well worth every penny.

Review: They charged me $700 to pack a room and a half, left several boxes (packed by their own packers) behind, took 13 hours to move everything and their drivers struck a wall.

Company says that they have a 100 percent money back guarantee. They have no such guarantee. They refused to refund any part of my move.

In my mind, if a company offers a 100 percent money back guarantee and refuses to honor it, that's fraudulent advertising. In fact, one of their customer service people called me during the move to tell me that I could take advantage of this, but only if I paid in full. Desired Settlement: Request partial refund.

When I selected Meathead Movers to assist me with my recent move, I wasn't sure what I was going to get in terms of experience, care for my belongings, and efficiency with getting the work done. Ultimately, this was the best move experience that I have had! When I first called, the person on the phone walked me through the process and details of what I could expect, as well as pricing. When the team arrived, they did a wonderful job of listening to my requests and executing the move effectively and efficiently to ensure it was done timely. Also, I had to have items moved to storage as well as my new location. I was amazed at how well the team packed the items into my storage unit.
