Meathead Movers

At the time of the estimate, our estimator, Hunter, noticed some items and boxes in the garage, Ms. H[redacted] let him know that they are going to be picked up by the Salvation Army prior to move day. Unfortunately,...

this did not happen, which means we did not include them in the original estimate. We were happy to move them for her and we offered to move them for an increase in the maximum cost to account for the additional time. When presenting the new price to her for the additional items, she sent our crew home. We then reached out and for customer service reasons agreed to split the difference in the additional cost and she agreed and our crew came back to her home. It took over two hours for these conversations to take place and at this point, our crew had to take a lunch due to CA labor laws. When complete with the lunch, they came back to the home and started the job. We tried everything we can to make her happy, but unfortunately it didn’t happen in this instance. She has disputed her charge with Amex 7 times and each time it is closed in our favor.

Excellence service! David M. and Sean M. we're punctual, professional and extremely personable! I would recommend the Meathead's to anyone meticulous about the possessions they are moving. A+ for these two hard working, sweet hearts!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10678763, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
However, I would never recommend this moving service to anyone. No one from this corporation treated me with respect-instead just said "You are getting a free move, we don't care that we damaged your items". There is an extreme lack of professionalism with Meathead movers-they don't want you to comment about how your move was, they just want you to pay them and go away.

This was our second move with Meathead. We had very high expectations; Bret, John, and Xavier exceeded our expectations. Thorough, efficient, courteous, and careful. Although we hope never to move again, Meathead would be our choice if it happened.

Well worth every penny. Adam and Daniel moved everything in a VERY short amount of time. They don't waste a second. They are very strong and athletic and would run back to the truck after bringing in furniture. It's worth it just to watch the show!

I highly recommend Meathead Movers to anyone looking for professional, courteous, punctual, and exceptional customer service. Today Marc Cordi and Angel Gutierrez moved our entire guest bedroom to our off site storage unit. They treated our goods just like their own and didn't ding or scratch a thing. The move was seamless and non-stressful. I can't say enough good things about the entire process. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with Meathead Movers. Marc and Angel hustled the entire time and never stopped being 100% professional and courteous.. I work in the customer service industry and it's great to see this type of A+ service in the market place. We will definitely call on Meathead Movers for our next move.

I am rejecting this response because:
The items that were set aside to be picked up by the Salvation Army the day that H[redacted] came to do the estimate were picked up prior to the move date and was not there anymore. 
The items that Meathead Movers had on their list that was not included in the original list consisted of two sofas and matching living room chairs, a triple dresser,  two TVs,  patio furniture,  table lamps,  a small desk,  4 area rugs, 7 pieces of artwork,  an ironing board,  a ladder, two end tables and 2 large tables along with various other items. 
No way could these items have been missed. 
It was after the move when many things got left behind because of lack of time that I came back to get and loaded my SUV.  All the other items that I could not take with me I called the Salvation Army to pick up. These items we're not ment originally to go to the Salvation Army but rather than hire another moving company to move them I gave them away. 
I told H[redacted] every thing was to go. When I signed the contract online I did not notice that the long list was missing these important items not expecting that everything wasn't lifted.

Meathead movers were wonderful to work with. The team comprised of Antonio, Raul and Caiden did a great job, they were courteous, efficient, careful with all furniture and cleaned up before they left. We were thrilled with the service that they provided for my 94 year old mother. We will use them again in a heartbeat.

Meathead Movers Princess Packers just packed my kitchen things to put them in storage while we renovate the kitchen. Pachy and jacob (Prince-in-Training) were my packers. They did a great job! I especially liked the way the labelled my boxes. they actually listed things that were in the box (e.g. coffee maker, toaster, kitchen towels, wine glasses, plates, serving platter) so that when I unpack I will have anode which boxes I want to unpack first. They didn't label a single box "Misc" - which is the frustrating thing that most packers form other companies have done in previous moves.
I would definitely use them again!

The Consumer stated over the phone that the business last response does not seem to pertain to this complaint, but if they would like to get this resolved she is willing to accept a discount of the bill and then she will have Amex pay the rest.

Courteous, prompt, efficient. They showed up when they said they would. The estimated cost for the move was correct, with no funny business or hidden charges. Everyone from office staff to the student athletes who picked up and then delivered to our new location, were polite and easy-going. The entire experience as hassle-free. Would definitely choose them again.

I had these people move me and they was fast and very helpful.

Pedro Rodrigves and Angel Orozco are very good and I enjoyed see them work so hard I am 66 and they help me very very much I was go to them again if I was to move .

Malwlm, Jeremy, and Ramon were top notch. They worked very hard moving our furniture, all the time taking care to protect it from any kind of damage. We were very impressed, especially with the results. They really do jog when not carrying anything. They really were honest and the Meathead company even sent a refund check because we were under the initial estimate.

Our family has used meathead movers for 2 moves, both moves went very fast, smooth and done with care and diligence.

I can't recall the names of the gentleman that helped us with our first move, but for our second move we had Malcolm Allen, Fernando Gonzales and Steve Paul. All of them were polite, respectful of our belongings and the building and even put up with the occasional 2 year old being nosey without skipping a beat but instead giving him a high 5 and continuing on.

Both moves were done under the time limit and I was only charged to lowest estimate. Coming in under the time allotted even included them moving my furniture a few times as I couldn't decide where I wanted it, lol. But they always made me feel like it was what they were there for and never hesitated.

I will always recommend meathead movers to anyone looking for a trustworthy moving company and if we ever have to move again we will 100% hire them for a 3rd time!!!

We have used Meathead Movers numerous times and will continue to do so, they are very professional, especially for the ages of the men they send to do the job. They hustle relentlessly, yet they do not rush. They take care of your belongings and make sure they are packed properly, they try their best not to damage anything and from what I have seen, do so with great success. I would and do highly recommend them to anyone I know who is moving or planning to move. Thanks again guys, you are truly a great company who employs great people.

Movers were great (Jack, Spencer, Richard, Joseph, Fernando, Joseph, Jonathan & Billy). They were fast, cooperative and very easy to deal with. However, our coordinator was only so-so. He neglected to order wardrobe boxes for the packers, as well as the correct size cartons for our large collection of vinyl LPs. Overall, I'd rate this as a good experience and would recommend Meathead.
