I am rejecting this response because: this saga only continues because this company is still telling storiesYes, we had a personal estimate, they are well versed at offering additional services and products, boxes etc without revealing a costI was contacted on several occasions to set up the move date,and when I explained that I had received a lower estimate, I was told that our move was not going to be more than $2500, and no where near the "Not to go over " price of $After this very convincing conversation, I booked the date for the movewe had been preparing for this move for months, and had boxes packed in every room, the statement that we were not ready is completely falseAt NO time was there any conversation about leaving any items for our family to move ...utterly ridiculousThere was never a final walk through, the team leader "T***", was very quick to cross off the area of the paperwork that indicated that nothing was left behind, so if this agreement was made, I would expect it to be on the receiptWhen my son called the day after the move,to report the many items that were not moved, the response was to send out a truck to complete the move but never said there would be no change,and could not tell him when the truck could be there, this was on Saturday July 23rdWe had a deadline to be out of the house and had to complete the move using five personal vehicles and several tripsI have never asked for anything more than what I feel is fairI had spent hours on the phone with people at this company before trying to talk to the GMWe made specific days and times to speak by phone, and she did not follow through with those plansI waited for two entire days for her call, which never cameAfter so many tries to resolve this issue I felt I had no other option than to use social media to tell our storyI told them on numerous emails that I did not want to do that, I never have posted anything negative on a review site or on social media.
We have documented many of the broken items that were packed by their packers, as well as boxes we packedAll were marked very fragile, but we saw the movers ignore thisI had NO idea that anyone went to their office and do not condone this visitIf I felt it would make a difference in the outcome, I would have been there myselfI really don't know how to get this to a reasonable outcomeI am still shocked that this company operates in this mannerAs I may have mentioned previously, I am not the only person who has been treated so unfair,overcharged and did not have their move completedI am positive they know this fact, and continue to create me as the villain and extortingThis is completely unjust and a sad attempt to believe their own liesIn the responses from them, through the Revdex.com , I find it interesting how much their story changes, while mine has remained consistent

D*** *** ost to $This included us not completing the entire scope of work and the client having to complete a portion so we could get the move done in less hoursOn move day, the client was not fully packed and it made it difficult to complete the scope of work in the time we calculated let alone to get it done in less time that would fit what the client wanted to payWe performed her pack and she sent the packers away and we refunded her for the cost of materials and gave her two hours of free packingOn the move, we exceeded the maximum price by almost $and we did not charge the client for that additional time that it took because they did not prepare for the moveAfter the move, we were informed that items were left that the client wanted to be moved despite the fact that the crew completed a walk through on move dayRegardless, we offered to come out at no cost and move the remainder of the itemsThe client refused and said that want money instead, which they were not entitled to because we completed the scope of work and more work that we did not agree to at the time of the estimateWe spoke with her and she requested almost $backWe did not understand why she felt justified in asking for a refund and told her that so she requested to speak with someone elseOur General Manager tried on several occasions with scheduled calls and emails to speak with her with no luckRather, the client emailed that she was too busy to talk and spent time writing negative reviews and then started demanding $back rather than the $she initially asked forAt this point, we realized this client wasn’t interested in being reasonable and must have had other motives in demanding money backAbout a month later, a family member of hers came into our office demanding a check for $claiming we ripped his family off and cursing and threatening my staff with physical violenceWe had to call the police because our staff was afraid of hiWe let him know we would be happy to speak w

I had these people move me and they was fast and very helpful
Pedro Rodrigves and Angel Orozco are very good and I enjoyed see them work so hard I am and they help me very very much I was go to them again if I was to move

Meathead Movers are the BEST! I've used them about a half a dozen times and they are terrific This move was a challenge, because we were moving out of our house because of a remodel, with some of our items going to a storage unit, and some going to a rental house Our Meatheads carefully planned both ways of the moves to make sure everything went to the right place & there was enough room in both the truck & the storage unit Everything ended up in the right place with no damage Something else I really appreciate is that the guys are good at taking furniture (including tricky beds) apart & putting them back together I like to kid them that they will make very good husbands!
Another quality I really appreciate, is how the Meatheads take time at the beginning of the jobs to plan out how they will proceed Same with how they will move big/bulky furniture It makes me feel that they care as much as I do about my furniture
Preplanning was another thing that Meathead do well Our coordinator kept in regular touch to make sure we were prepared & had enough boxes/packing papers and tape
And the other very important quality of Meatheads is their friendly, professional demeanor & how no matter what, they are cheerful & ready to help out! I love these guys, Ramiro M., Manuel P., Taylor B., Paul H and Ivan A All superstars! Thank you so much Meathead!

Called Meathead movers, to see if we could schedule a move on Fathers Day They were very accommodating Trevor, Rick, and Dean showed up on time Were professional, careful, and fastidious Would use them again in a heartbeat!!

We had a very small move after a larger one the day before. Our movers, [redacted] and [redacted] were very quick, courteous and knowledgeable. They made the move very painless and fun. Kudos to this company.

Very polite and professional, arrived on time and never stopped working. My belongings were all wrapped nicely for transport and will be using Meathead Movers again for our next move!

We were very pleased with the entire process from the 1st phone call, the estimate meeting, the move itself, & the follow-up phone calls. We had some heavy furniture, which had to go upstairs & they did a great job. They were professional, kind, quick, & friendly. We would recommend them to anyone.

During an extremely difficult time just after the passing of my sister, I needed professional movers to transport several large and some very heavy items from Orange County, CA to San Diego County, CA. I chose Meathead Movers from the internet. I needed to save money, but I needed professional movers who could safely support my sister's expensive furniture that was still in great or pristine condition.
Meathead movers exceeded all of my expectations. The crew from Irvine was headed by Brandon Miller and included Levi Darren, Andrew Juarez, and Ivan Lopez; all clean-cut, polite, and strong young student athletes.
In addition, the move included two locations: my new storage unit in El Cajon and then up the mountain to my house in Crest. They navigated the driveway, the front entrance, and the landscape (dirt driveway leading to the back of the house) with no stress at all! I was amazed. They removed my bed and mattress and replaced it with the new bed from my sister, as well as two oversized pieces of furniture going into a small cottage.
What I needed was for this furniture to be moved without any damage and for it to be done in a way that was the least stressful for me. They delivered! Brandon worked with me initially upon arrival to scope out the job and listen to my needs. Working as a team with their qualified team leader, Brandon, they wasted no time as they wrapped and moved, and occasionally asked me a question. I give them an A+. They were all congenial and respectful, and this made it actually enjoyable.
I recommend them highly to anyone with a simple cross-town move or one that is farther away and/or more complicated as mine was.

We have tried exceedingly hard to resolve the issues that the client felt they had on move day, including offering free services,...

amongst other things. We realized that a satisfactory resolution would be impossible in this situation when the client came in to our lobby and threatened physical violence against multiple employees if we did not pay them the large amount of cash they were demanding as a resolution.

I am rejecting this response because: I never went to this office,I never threatened anyone's! I have tried many times to connect with the General Manager,A[redacted]. She has scheduled times for a telephone conversation,only to wait all day, no call. I feel she is exaggerating our claim for "huge " amounts of money,which is also Not true. We have asked for a fair refund for a job they did not complete and for damage and broken valuables that were discovered after I filled this complaint. After speaking with several people in the community, l find our issue with this company are common, I would certainly never threaten anyone, I consider myself to be professional and honest in any situation and have tried to resolve this issue in a professional manner. At this time I feel that this is going nowhere unless I go to Small Claims court, and have no energy to continue dealing with the,,which is what they were planning on. I am a strong believer in Karma, I will leave it there. I don't know how they can continue running a business in this manner, and feel good about themselves. I have better things to do than play this game.
I appreciate the service provided by the Revdex.com and the assistance provided to me. I'm not so sure that they deserve the stamp of approval by the Revdex.com, perhaps a review of the business practices is due.

I LOVE Meathead Movers and I am so glad I used them! Unlike my previous frustrating experiences with other moving companies, these Meatheads were absolutely fantastic! There corporate professionalism was great. They kept me informed with clear communication. Each of the 7 individuals that I personally met were professional, pleasant, fun, and courteous! And it was so great watching them literally running from the truck back into my apartment to get more furniture! I love that my 5 year old son got a glimpse of these hardworking young men! I will never move without my Meatheads again!

The experience my family had with this company was extremely positive. The two gentlemen who showed up to help us unload a 26foot Penske truck completely packed were fantastic! Kevin Parra and Bryan Ortega showed up on time, were professional, careful, and extremely hard workers. They would carry in our items and then RUN back out to the truck to grab more furniture and what not.
They finished within the estimated time frame, but more importantly to me, nothing was damaged, scratched or broken as a result of their efforts. The last item off the truck was a 1400 to 1500 pound Snap-On toolbox that would have made anyone flinch- not these guys. Getting one of these boxes off a truck even with a lift-gate is no joke, and my livelihood here in So-Cal depended on them doing it right.

I had the most amazing easy move with Meathead Movers. Eric & Jonathan G. were wonderful. I moved form a down stairs to up stairs on a hot day. I can't say enough about their attention to making sure my stuff was not scratched. Thank you again guys!!!!!!

I think the estimators "Low Ball" a bid and then the NTE (Not to exceed) amount is always charged. I think the Revdex.com should do an audit (a surprise one) and pull about a dozen files and I would be willing to bet money 11 or 12 were charged the maximum. They called and said they wanted to make it right and offered to make it up on another job by offering a two hour minimum versus their normal three hour minimum.
BIG DEAL. That really cost them. I would reccomend any potential customer to beware when receiving a quote and get other bids from additional companies.
