Mendel is a bit pricey. But, Quality service is worth it.

I have been using Mendel Plumbing and Heating for my furnace and air conditioning service. They are always quick to respond and work to solve the problem. Mike *. was very efficient in finding the leak from my air conditioner and fixing it. I work close to home and they are very good about calling me in time to meet the service person so I don't have to miss too much time from work. All of the service people are very good about explaining and showing me the problem and the solution. They simplify the terms so I can understand. I really appreciate that. This was a repair to a previously fixed problem and they did not charge me for anything--travel or time nor material. They take responsibility for their work.

As always, Mendel Plumbing is very quick to reply with efficient quality service. Mike *. came out and diagnosed and repaired the issues with our air conditioner. We have always used Mendel for our electrical, plumbing and heating needs.

Anthony G. did a maintenance check on our furnace today. He was very helpful in telling us about the type of furnace filter we should be using. He was very courteous and professional.

My Aprilaire was leaking into the furnace and extinguished the flame. The house got down to 56 on a sub-zero night. I called Mendel in the morning and they were quick to send out Anthony within a few hours. He found the problem, fixed the water pad that had been installed backwards stopping the leak, inspected the furnace seeing that the flame was now lit and running smoothly. I was impressed with his skill and courtesy, his efficiency and his willingness to offer a discount. He was a pleasant man, who I'll ask for the next time we need any service from Mendel. We've been costumers for five years and have never been disappointed with any of their services. It's a comfort knowing there is a company like Mendel that I can call and trust for electrical, plumbing, heating & air, and now carpentry! Good job Mendel and Anthony. Thank you!

Very simply put - he did what he said he was going to do in the timeframe that he provided for the price that was quoted. Very nice job. I am on a preventive maintenance program whereby Mendel service personnel come by in the fall to check up and service my boiler and in the spring to do the same with my A/C. Ken R. came by on Oct. 16 with a trainee, Mike K. Both were personable, knowledgeable and right on time. They were also quite happy to have me "looking over their shoulders" and to explain everything I asked about. And unlike what one usually runs into when taking a car in for service, they were not looking for other things to charge me for.

Mike S. conducted our annual furnace inspection and inspected our hot water heater too. Other technicians from Mendel have done our semi-annual inspections in the past. Mike recognized that he installed this furnace and air conditioning systems ten years ago. We also had him inspect our hot water heater because we were not able to drain out the sediment. He replaced the clogged valve. He said our heater will probably last another five years. I trust Mendel not only for because of their great service; but most of all they don't try to sell us something we don't need yet. This type of honesty is what keeps a local, family owned company is business for so many years.

Eric K was prompt, efficient, and very helpful in resolving an issue for us. We have used Mendel for a number of projects, including plumbing and electrical projects. When revamping our sump pump and back-up pumps, we needed to replace the piping which required work by one of their carpenters. This work was also done in a professional manner.
