The customer ordered a special order door.  These doors normally arrive in 4 weeks but deliveries can be late due to manufacturing issues.  Our contract states that Mesa cannot be liable for any manufacturer delays. Unfortunately this customers door install was delayed two...

weeks because of manufacturer delays. We did arrive two hours late due to a complication on a prior job.  This is unavoidable. We never received any complaints about drywall.  We have a post install checklist from the customer where he signed off all is perfect.  There was no mention of the drywall on the checklist.

We have scoured our system and cannot find any information on the purchase of the door.  Please email us a copy of the proposal to [email protected]

We have refunded this customer $469.00 on 8-17-2015. I left the customer 3 separate messages regarding the credit card being refunded and for her to confirm that she received the credit. Mesa stands by their contract and was willing and able to fulfill on our end, which was evident by showing up on the day of installation to try and install our product.  Mr. [redacted] was not on site, nor available on the day of installation to discuss any details that could have prevented further misunderstanding and has no reasonable basis for his claim.  Regardless, the contract was mutually cancelled.

The warranties for the product and installation would have been in effect.  It's incredible that Mesa can claim to be a legitimate company when they install garage parts that are not appropriate for the door.  I had requested and paid for a properly fitted lock.  It is unethical and immoral.

I have attached a copy of the completed checklist where my installer included that "Customer chose to have a slide lock installed with motor. Mesa is not responsible for any damage caused because of this."
This was signed by the customer on date of install.  True we did not discuss a service charge and did go out and remove the lock as goodwill.  We will not be refunding any monies to customer who chose to have this part installed although warned against to begin with.
Also, to be clear, although the customer included their own verbiage in regard to the lock, Mesa will not warranty any damaged caused as a result.

- Mesa is happy to complete any pending service.  Please contact our Service department to schedule at your convenience.  The customer's account has been notated and service can be completed with 72 hour advanced scheduling.

Is this a new complaint? We replaced her sensors for her at no charge on 8-18-2015. She signed of on the work order that the job was complete.

The garage door sections are covered under warranty for 20 years, and hardware is for 5years (tracks , hinges, ect.). I have atteched a copy the of the warranty certificate. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.  The business did come out and move part of the wiring behind the drywall above the ceiling.  This is probably the best that they can do.  I think their salesman purposely misled me but what can I do?  The garage doors are great and except for one minor problem with one of the doors I am happy with the product.  The problem is supposed to be resolved by the company.

This matter is still ongoing. Mesa damaged the new track they installed initially by hitting it with a hammer to knock out an openeing for the latch, rather than cutting it out. They are coming again today to install the 2nd latch. And instructed me to take pictures of the damage they caused the first time. This should not be closed!

Once the replacement door was in we called to schedule the installation.  The install was delayed a few times at the customer’s request.  The new door was installed with the customers requested installers on 11/09/2016 and the customer is happy.

]We reject this response based on falsehoods submitted by the company. We were not informed that the garage door was special order until after the fact. There were multiple delays regarding the scheduling and delivery of the door and only after multiple calls to Mesa Garage Door Company wiere we told the door was damaged and returned. When we finally were given a delivery date for New Year's Eve we cleared the garage as instructed in preparation for the installation. After waiting 6 hours past the scheduled time, we finally reached someone at Mesa Garage Door who had no explanation for the delay. We were told by the technician to be patient. We called back multiple times and were finally told the installer was on his way. We were then told he had injured his hand and he was coming to our house to show us. We told him not to. We cancelled our order after and have never received any refund or any follow-up from Mesa Garage Door since our complaint.
