I am rejecting the response of MACS to my original complaint, as that response is simply untrue.  We received an automated call this week attempting to collect from [redacted] on July 1st, 2015 to ###-###-####. And, just to be clear, we have called many more times than two, and more than one of us have made more than two calls. We have many phone lines here. I have listed them below. I also provided these to MACS on my previous calls. I ask that they please check again. ###-###-#### ###-###-#### ###-###-#### ###-###-#### ###-###-#### ###-###-#### ###-###-#######-###-####Also, I had the aggravating experience of one of their agents rudely hanging up the phone in my face as I was in mid-sentence explaining our dilemma. representative that handled the call advised the consumer her matter would be closed and returned to her creditor. The consumer stated that she could provide proof if need be but was advised that wouldn’t be necessary. On 10/26/15 the consumer contacted Mid Atlantic Consumer Services and indicated to a different representative that she hadn’t satisfied this matter but was willing to do so. The consumer went on to set up a tentative arrangement with that representative to resolve the matter. On 10/28/15 the consumer contacted Mid Atlantic Consumer Services to advise that, after reviewing her records, she had indeed resolved this matter and would be willing to provide proof. The consumer was advised that no proof was required, her arrangement would be voided and her matter would be returned to her creditor as a resolved issue. During this last conversation the consumer advised Mid Atlantic Consumer Services that she had filed a Revdex.com complaint and contacted an attorney. The consumer went on to say she would attempt to retract her complaint and advise her attorney that this matter had come to an amicable ending. However, I will state that I have met with the management and reviewed the subject matter. It is company policy to adhere to the pertinent collection laws including but not limited to the FDCPA. Employees have been instructed that any proven violation of said laws will result in immediate termination of employment. Furthermore, employees have been trained to provide a positive customer service experience and failure to promote such a standard may result in an adverse effect on their employee as well.
