It has been determined that on November 18, 2015 the consumer indicated to Mid Atlantic Consumer Services that the account was being disputed...

This is an absolute LIE !  Mid Atlantic representative told me that if I did NOT provide them with a copy of my satisfaction of this debt, they would serve me with legal papers and I could show the COURT my satisfaction of debt. JPalmer, your company tried to bully me on multiple occasions, and tried to get personal information from me.  If I was a 65 year old woman, I might have been scared enough to give you my credit card information and give you money. I was NOT treated as your note below states.  Your company had better not EVER contact me again, or I will call Bob Ferguson, the Attorney General of Washington State, whom I have already referred your company to.  Your response to this matter is completely fault and untrue !  Release the tape to me…. Let me hear your rep say that to me.  They did threatened me !  [redacted]

[redacted] Dear Sir/Madam:                         We have received and reviewed the complaint filed with your office by Ms. [redacted].  Thank you for the opportunity to respond.                          Our office was calling in an attempt to locate a consumer with the same name as Ms. [redacted].  All attempted calls to Ms. [redacted] and his place of employment were done so to locate that consumer.  When leaving messages, our representatives are trained to ensure that there is no disclosure of the purpose of our call, unless and until we have verified we have spoken to the correct consumer.  As we were unable to actually speak with Ms. [redacted], we were unable to verify this information.  A few calls were made on this account on August 25, 2016, and the account was shut down and notated that we were unable to locate a consumer at that time.  No further calls too place.  No letter correspondence was sent to Ms. [redacted], or anyone regarding this account, as we were never able to verify the consumer we were seeking.                          We reviewed the above referenced complaint with the representative that spoke with Ms. [redacted] and they state that at no time was there ever a threat regarding Ms. [redacted]’s bank account information or social security number.  These allegations would be strictly against company policy and would lead to immediate termination of any employee.  We can assure Ms. [redacted] and your office that there is no worry regarding either his account or social security number from our office.                          As we were unable to verify the consumer we were looking for, this account was closed and returned back to our Client.  Ms. [redacted]’s number has been added to our system and we can assure that he will not receive any further correspondence from our office.  Please contact the undersigned if we can be of any additional help in this matter.  Sincerely,  Authorized Representative of Mid Atlantic Consumer Services

To Whom it may Concern, Upon review of complaint ID [redacted] Mid-Atlantic Consumer Services has determined that the validity of the complaint is false. [redacted]’s telephone number was uploaded to our database the morning of Friday, 11-17-17 and no calls were applied until Monday, 11-20-17....

Another reason this is false is because both [redacted] and Mid-Atlantic are in the east coast time zone, Mid-Atlantic opens at 9 am and closes at 7pm Monday through Thursday. In [redacted]’s complaint she stated calls were made at 8am and 8pm which is impossible. Also upon review the employee handing [redacted] did remove the telephone number and no more calls will be made, however again the validity of the complaint is false.
