We provided Mrs [redacted] with an in home estimate the week prior to her move, The estimator, a 37 year veteran in the industry, went room to room in order to see the entirety of services that Mrs. [redacted] was needing. After doing so he provided her with an estimate of $1649.55.. Several days later...

Mrs. [redacted] agreed to have us move her. After everything was said and done her total bill came to $1,529.95. Clearly under the written estimate she was provided. Our in home estimates are usually very accurate as can be seen in this above circumstance.
As far as the delay in time that was mentioned, I spoke with Mr. [redacted] on the day of the move and we adjusted the time to correct any downtime from the men getting lost. All of our trucks are on GPS and the situation was able to be rectified in a timely manner.
However, I do agree with one man being slightly under the weather that the move may have occurred at a slightly faster pace if under different circumstances and that the time it took to get the few remaining items were an inconvenience. This being said we would like to offer a refund 1.5 hours totaling $212.85.

That is their standard response.  The local office does takes not responsibility for their errors.  It was their local movers that caused the damage and mis-handled the furniture.  I filed a claim back in September 2015 and no one has responded from Customer Service.

determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I called customer care on Saturday and was sent directly back to the office where they refused to make things right.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is the only recourse satisfactory to me.  Process is already underway, I.e. Pictures, receipts, all documenation requested from them, including a notarized statement.  Also requested representative from company personally come to my residence and witness first hand damages suffered as a result of total incompetence and false statement that their movers are "professional."  Professionals who do not carry tools with them on their trucks for disassembling/assembling property of their customer.  Totally outrageous and false advertisement on their part.

This email is in regarding my complaint against All My Son's Moving and Storage. ON February 28 2018 I hired this company to move and pack my belongings to another location less than 1 mile away.During this move There were things left in the old unit and certainly not packed but also upon later investigation there was damage made to my Red micro-suede sofa on the armrest there were 2 holes. This sofa and love seat set were manufactured by [redacted] Furniture and it was bought brand new for over $2000 about 2 years ago. When I called this company a few days later to make them aware of the damage to my sofa I was transferred to Randy. Randy stated there was paperwork to be sent and so I waited about 1 week before receiving them, filled them out, called a mobile notary and mailed the documents back. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the document so I requested Randy send me a copy of what he had but he has never sent me any copied but still claims all of the necessary documentation has not been received and the only page he received was the last so I asked for a copy of that in which I still have not received. I am requesting your assistance in getting the copy of the document that Randy is stating he received. I apologize if there was any miscommunication regarding the circumstances of your move. Please understand this was a labor only, load only job.  The credit card company has not awarded any of the credit card disputes as they do not see any fault by the company. Even though the credit card company is not willing to award you a refund, All My Sons is still willing to offer $119.00 to prove that we are about our customers and we want them to be happy.  The maximum I can refund is $119.00. I hope you will accept this as a resolution and move forward.
