Excellent and quick service by Tony from Mr. Rooter.

I received excellent service from Ruben G. and Gabriel R. at Mr. Rooter's Aiello Drive (SJ) office. Both Ruben and Gabriel were very professional, courteous and friendly. Ruben worked diligently and made it a very educational experience as well. I would highly recommend this team and will use them again as needed. Thank you so much! ~ [redacted] (Fremont)

Mr. Rooter is dependable and performs quality work. This is the second trip in less than a month for an issue in my home. They are slightly more expensive than the competition but there exceptional customer service and quality technicians are worth the money.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[I reject this offer because of the bait and switch perpetuated by Mr. [redacted].  Their response states that they have 2 different types of drain cleaning service - jobs with outside access and jobs with inside access.  As stated by Mr. [redacted], these 2 type of jobs vary greatly in the time and effort necessary to complete them.  Given those differences and large price differences it seems germane to determine which service is needed when providing a quote.  Mr. [redacted] neglected to do so and got me to commit to a dispatch fee under the false pretense that the job would cost something in the neighborhood of $100-200.  Given the extreme misrepresentation of the job's cost, I do not I feel I owe the dispatch fee Mr. [redacted] charged. Also, I reject Mr. [redacted]'s offer to perform the job with the appropriate discount fee applied along with credit for the dispatch fee as the job has been done by another company.  For reference, Mr. [redacted]'s competitor charged $150 to clean the line.  This is the same charge as the last company who performed that service.  I am not trying to tell Mr. [redacted] what they must charge for their services.  They are free to charge well above their competitors if they wish.  But I do feel they owe honest and accurate pricing to their customers, which they neglected in this case.]

We are a repeat customer with Mr. Rooter. Our first experience was very positive so that when a leak in a water main started bubbling up in front of our garage we called Mr. Rooter again. We want to give kudos to Hector for doing a good job in identifying the problem and fixing it.

The boys were friendly, and were trying to follow protocol. I was nervous because they over-exagerrated the problem and tried to quote me a $800 cost to fix my flange on toilet. Instead of looking at the flange, they checked out the walls and basement to see if they need to cut into the pipe. They wasted all their time looking in their cost book, and not checking my toilet flange.
I did not sign their bill, and am still waiting for them to call me back over disputed bill for simple flange change.

There are many items in the response that are not true.  I would know what happened better than someone assigned to the case to produce a response, and telling me otherwise is quite insulting.The drywall that was torn up in the bathroom was not supposed to be touched.  The only drywall by agreement was to be removed in the stairway where the plumbing was.  The unnecessary holes in the bathroom did not even uncover any plumbing.  I have pictures of these holes.The repair was supposed be done on the May 22nd.  There was no reason why it could not be done on that day.  The worker did not want to do anything because he told me that he was supposed to be off the next day, so he delayed the process by going to lunch and acting like he was going to get a part.  He was supposed to cap the plumbing so I could use the toilet but he did not cap it properly.  The pipes were just placed up and not glued so the cap he put up was obsolete.  There was water running down the area when the man snuck out the back door.I observed the man urinate in my hallway.  It is a fact and not slander. The company is choosing to deny all liability and did not even offer a resolution.

Mr Rooter folks were excellent. Their senior plumber, Justin did much of the work and followed through on all the loose end issues. This was a whole house replumb, so it was quite an undertaking. I was very pleased with the work and process to do the replumb. It's a real professional company. Highly recommend.

I'm redecorating our garage and I needed to move my utility sink to another location. I was originally going to do the work myself, but I called Mr Rooter - Mike showed up - knew exactly what to do and did a great job!

The Mr. Rooter employee was prompt, fixed the problem in short order, and was courteous.

Technician [redacted] was extremely courteous and professional. He honored a previous warranty on his work, and spent considerable time figuring out what the problem was.

This complaint has already
been settled with Mr. [redacted]. Our company has already given him a refund of
$340.00. We made a settlement with the customer based on his request and with
the understanding that the issue had been resolved. Mr. [redacted] signed the
agreement on July 22nd, 2015 and...
