After reviewing the invoices dated 2/4/and 5/5/15, *** performed an electrical diagnosis on the heater, he replaced upper and lower thermostats and heating elements for $***.( usual charge is $***) At that time, the heater did not need to be replacedEven if we called
the manufacturer , as we have done hundreds of times, they want us to repair at the lowest possible cost firstmonths later, the water heater gave out, we sent our service technician *** out*** called the manufacturer to let them know the heater was burning thru elements, and only at that point did they send a new heater outWe don't work on *** heaters because of their poor quality, but since *** did the work originally, we decided to help the customer out as their service provider and install the new heater sent to themAs far as taking an hour to do the original service, it had to have taken longer than that to drain the heater and replace the partsThe cost of bringing a certified plumber to the customers home, equipped with top of the line tools, and insurance coverage, workers compensation, gas, etchas a cost to the companyWe have to be able to make a small profit if we are to stay in business We are not cheating customers to up-sell items they don't needwe try to offer money saving options to help the customer outAt this point we don't feel we owe any refunds, and the extended warranty on labor for months that we gave, should honor any issues they may have with a poor quality heater.Thank you,*** ***

I filed a complaint with you in regards to this business Nov under case #XXXXXX I have not received a resolution or response I had a plumbing problem with wet carpet in spots and seepage noted in unusually places and some back up in the bathtub MrRooter told me the problem was a backed up sewage line which they repaired, however, within a short period of time, the same problem manifested They have made promises to come out and fix/assess the problem but have not showed

First, we never received any phone calls, emails, or letters regarding this matter from MrRooter. Second, this does not resolve the complaint because not even an apology was received. We feel that the response makes us as customers seem unappreciative. It appears that the company cares more about being cost effective than ensuring that the services provided are of top quality. This business is quick to tell us that *** has poor quality products, however our complaint is not about the water heater or ***. *** had no issue with honoring their warranty at no additional cost, while MrRooter feels that they should not be responsible for their work.

*** worked diligently to resolve our clogged kitchen plumbingHe ended up needing assistance and called in his supervisor, *** *** spent grueling hours and *** approximately They were very professional and problem solved how to correct the problem without damaging new kitchen cabinets Since we had a contract from previous work, they also were able to get us a discount on our total bill

I am rejecting this response because: Larry from MrRooter called me last week (the day I got this notice from the Revdex.com) and left me a voice mailI promptly returned the phone call and spoke to MrAugstin
Estrada in Larry's MrRooter officeMrEstrada said that Larry was in a meeting and would return my phone callIt has been four days and there has been no phone call from Larry or anyone else at MrRooterThis is what has become the typical and expected "customer service" from MrRooter: delay, mislead, delay I get passed from one guy to another with unsubstantiated promises and assurancesThey seem to hope I'll give up or forgetThis is not going to go away until it is properly resolvedI will hold Larry and MrRooter accountable for installing a septic system that does not have a county permit and is likely to be found, non compliant, unnecessary and improperly installed.
I remind MrRooter: do not try to go around meMrRooter is forbidden from stepping foot on the property without me being presentI will not tolerate MrRooter taking advantage of my elderly parents as I believe they did when they installed this septic system I am going to hold them accountable for everything that has been improperly performed to dateI am the only person they are to interact with regard to the resolution of this dispute

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I rent this condo and was there at the time I had them originally snake the drain where the condensation pipe is and after a couple days the leak was back I called them had them go out and look at it again this time the tech said the Hot water heater was leaking and that was the problem he suggestion I replace that and install a drain pan and he would run a drain pipe so that this would not happen again he did quote me over the phone and said it will be the this was with the drain pipe installedSo within a few weeks when my renter started using her AC she called and said the unit *** said it was leaking again, at this point I was able to go to the unit and as you can see from the pictures this is what they leftAnd if they were not able to instal the drain pipe off the pan why did they not contact me about that before I had to find out myself weeks later when I had another leak issue (by the way its only flight of steps not which that was not even mentioned in the price as well as any discount until I received the invoice) I thought with the previous job I had them do I could trust them (see invoice attached)this was for the snake down the drain next to the water heater and a faucet replaced that had been leaking as well as an access panel to a cutoff valve for the shower, after looking at that invoice again today I just noticed they have replace tub???? I don't know why they have that I hope they didn't over charge me for that also as they did not put a tub in its a shower only bathroom anyway.At this point I do not want them to come back out after the mess they left I just want reimbursed for what they charged for the drain pan and drain pipe install.

Mr Rooter techinicians arrived in the time frame they claimed
Excellent servise from the time of the call until completion of our plumbing issue
Given it was a Sunday the rate was very, very reasonable compared to other well know plumbing services
Same day serviceTech, James T*** was very helpfulVery friendly and professionalJames located the water leak problem too! Would use their service again if needed
We called MrRooter on the recommendation of a relative Our pipes were clogged and backed up After an initial try they could not clear the plumbing They followed up with a camera and told us that our kitchen/laundry/sewer line had collapsed under the house A trench would have to be dug, from my front yard, driveway ripped up, and side drive This was all fine because the other alternative was to have my kitchen floors torn up Then they realized the main line was about to collapse so they had to put a liner inside the pipe to repair This was fine, because I shown the damage up front Total cost for the entire project was very shocking about grand, but they did do an excellent job, they kept us posted on what was going on, also did several extra things that were out of the scope of their work, while they had the trench dug A lot of extras were thrown in for us, out of respect for the amount of money we had to pay I am very, pleased with them, and we would recommend The only problem we have had is, shortly after the trenches were filled in they started to sink We had some rains, and the trenches turned into a mud pit instead of solid ground They were not packed properly, we were told we could drive on it, but my car sunk into the trench It could have been a disaster Called out the tech, and he threw some dirt on it tamp it a bit, but still in bad shape Everywhere there was a trench dug you sink into I ended up saying screw it, and having to dig the trenches back up myself, repacking the dirt, and making it stable so there is no danger to my family when they drive up Thanks MrRooter, you went far and beyond on this job, I know it was not pleasant for you

This message is in response to the E-mail from 1-3-Compliant ID # ***The issue with the pipes has not been resolved. MrRooter did respond to check the complaint and checked the piping from the kitchen sink and he also ran a pipe from the roof down the drain. Appears to show the water running from the kitchen to the main line is open this was on 12-22-14. Suppose to return to flush the drain on 1-6-Snow was on the roof that day, was to return on Thursday 1-8-15. Today is Wednesday 1-7-There has been no mention of the repair to my tile or water damage carpet so this issue is not closed as of this date.
I never received any e-mails except this one and that is why I never responded

I own a rental property and my Tenant contacted this company without my approvalWork was completed that I never authorized
I received an email from my Tenant that the plumbing in my home was backed upShe called this Company on her own and they state they spent three or four days trying to clear this backup but were unable to do soI called the Company and was told how much time they spent and that they could still not get the pipes clearedThe Salesman then proceeded to tell me that there were roots growing in the line and that they would have to be replacedI questioned this since the home is only approximately years oldI was clearly told I would be provided pictures of the reason for the backup, but once I provided payment I never heard back from this companyI was never provided an itemized bill or anything else from this companyIn my opinion they had no idea what they were doing and charged me $to do whateverI believe I was overcharged and lied toThe ty
MrRooter Plumbing came to our home and put in a new line to the sewer They first determined that the line was full of roots from trees They dug around the existing line, and replaced it with a line made from root-resistant synthetic material They also replaced a flapper that had been placed in the yard many years ago
The men were expert, courteous, and left the yard in good condition
We are very pleased with the service from MrRooter Plumbing
