We used Muscular Moving Men to move us from Mesa 85207 to Mesa 85212. The new home had not yet cleared, but we had got be out of our existing home by October 31st. The new home cleared for us on November 8th, so we called the movers to bring over our furniture. They delivered "some" of our furniture, but has lost several pieces that they could not find. They moved some of my woodworking equipment, including a table saw that was highly damaged with missing parts. They lost several boxes containing an expensive shower curtain that matched the bedspread, a custom made end grain cutting board, and the metal frame for our King size bed. They found the metal frame after a long delay, and after I had already ordered another one. Three weeks ago I called to see if they had "found" any of my things, but I have heard nothing back from them, as they said they were very busy. I suspect that my belongings were moved to someone else, as they delivered a pod of furniture to our home and started unloading it before we told them that it was NOT ours. They spent several hours at our home looking for the "wooden slats" for our bed, when it never had wooden slats. However, the man who disassembled the bed originally was "sure" they were wooden slats. Several other items were damaged, but were not expensive items, and I kind of expect a few things to get damaged in moving a complete home. What I did not expect was for several things to be LOST, and several other things to be damaged extensively. We were moved on the 29th of October to storage, then partially delivered on November 8th. I have contacted the company several times, but nothing has been resolved.

I used Muscular Moving Men for my move on 12/29/16 and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were professional and willing to move furniture around for me at my new place. They called the day before, and when they were on their way and their customer service was excellent. I was very pleased with their service!

These two movers did a wonderful job and were very professional. I would use them again if I needed to move again.

We had MMM move two separate offices recently and they did an outstanding job with both of the moves. The guys were on time, friendly, clean-cut and very professional. We were very pleased with the care they took in loading and unloading of all our furniture and equipment. They were extremely helpful with set up of equipment and furniture and did so with smiles on their faces ...even at the end of two very long days!

I am shocked to see a Revdex.com complaint given that Mr. [redacted] and I have went over all job information and it has been made clear though a transparent and detailed breakdown of charges that everything in the above dispute has been made available to show that there was no wrongdoing whatsoever as it pertains to Muscular Moving Men.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
As mentioned in my complaint I was aware of the additional charge for shuttle fees and didn’t want to pay them but would if I needed too. My main issues are the following:

I provided my address and location prior to my belongings leaving Arizona and called in and explained my concerns about the driveway. If the moving company would have done their due diligence and researched we could’ve seen that a shuttle was needed and arranged it in advance. Furthermore, they would have seen that a shuttle was not possible due the location of the home as I was informed by the drivers.
The statement, “We advised Ms. [redacted] at that point we would have to off load the items from the tractor/trailer onto a smaller truck and she declined this service”. is simply not true. In fact, I was informed that I was the last load on the truck and they had to stick to a schedule. The nearest place to shuttle from was over 6 miles away, and due to it being a Sunday there was no shuttle available. I was scrambling for solutions and believe me, if I could have paid an extra fee up front to have all of my belongings, I would have because in the long run it is costing me more.
I understand that my father did not have to assist at the storage unit and its unfortunate that your labor did not show up, however, if they were able to unload at the house, it would have been extremely difficult to go up and down steps with mattresses, couches, etc. with only one person. Either way, it needed to be resolved. Again, this was not the expectation of service I expected and there was no dolly, ramp, or other equipment on the truck.
I choice this company based off and A+ rating with the Revdex.com. This experience was not A+ and I would appreciate if you would take accountability. I am not looking to make money off this situation. I am a hard working single mother who needed help moving because I couldn’t do it myself. I placed the fee for this move on two different credit cards. I wasn’t expecting to have to hire additional movers after the fact or pay storage. I would like to be compensated the extra expenses as a result of the moving companies lack of preparation, planning, and labor that was needed to successfully complete this job. That is the fair, honest, and right thing to do.

Had an exceptional experience with Muscular Moving Men. The movers were very professional, my items were moved with care, and the movers were efficient and able to complete the move in a very timely manner. I truly appreciated that the movers took care, not only with my items, but with the environment; putting up protective layers on door frames and a liner on the stairs.

service signed by the customer, and highlighted section 5 of the document which states that we are not liable for  "Ready to Assemble" furniture such as this item that is not intended to be transported after initial assembly. We also informed this customer of the valuation option he received which is highlighted on the signed credit card authorization attached above. This valuation coverage offered to Mr. [redacted]  is based at sixty cents per pound. Because his item is 15lbs it amounts to $9.00. We also offered to send someone out and re-assemble a new desk for Mr. [redacted] once he had the correct hardware to do so. In addition, we have also sent a check in the amount of the reimbursement according to his coverage. At this time we feel we have done everything in our power in order to rectify this issue with Mr. [redacted].Thank you.

These guys were great. They have the proper equipment to do the move. They were efficient, on time, placed all furniture where we wanted it. I would highly recommend them and hire them again.

To Whom It May Concern,It is certainly surprising to us that this is an ongoing issue. We certainly do our best when scheduling long distance moves to get the most information about the destination we can. The Relocation Specialist that scheduled the move, [redacted], advised that the client did not provide a delivery address when the move was scheduled until a later date. Regardless, even if a delivery address is obtained in advance, it is always possible that a shuttle may be needed and the client was advised what the additional cost would be if this was the case. The road leading up to the destination was not adequate for driving a tractor trailer and further more we were skeptical if a 26ft box truck would make it through. Once on site at the destination, the client was advised of what the shuttle charge would be and she declined the service instead opting to have our crew unload at a nearby storage. Our driver made it very clear that we did not want to have their assistance when unloading the items and if we simply waited for the replacement crew to show up we would handle it. They felt inclined to do so regardless. There is no compensation we can provide given that we followed protocol and provided the best service possible given the circumstances. The client made it clear she was very happy with the service provided to her by our moving crew and driver and it is not ideal that there was cost associated with the move beyond the original estimate however the scope of work changed.[redacted]Muscular Moving Men

During the initial walk through with our customer it became apparent she was surprised that we showed up with 2 large moving trucks although our order for service...

clearly indicates this to be the case. The large quantity of items being moved necessitated these trucks and tehe customer was made aware of this in advance. We were also advised upon walk through the customers expectation for time to complete the move had changed and she requested our team complete this move in less time than the 8 hours we had estimated, That being said our team loaded the trucks in such a way that we were trying to load for no more than 2-3 hours of time. it is best practice when not loading a truck full to "floor load" the truck to ensure that the shippers items are transported safely when doing a local in town move. It became apparent as we began doing a walk through after loading said items that we may need to clear additional space to get the additional required items. A representative from our office arrived out unsolicited to perform a spot check on the crew and during the course of the interaction with the shipper he offered a discount. We provided his service on the move at no additional charge which would typically constitute a rate increase of $30/hr. Given the circumstances we have honored the promised discount and provided a $207.90 discount off the moving labor as indicated. This is a valid charge for the completed moving service and would be happy to provide further documentation proving this should it be necessary. I would recommend Muscular Moving Men to anyone who is moving or needs to store their items before settling into their new place.

A month or so before my move into my new home, the company sent three very polite, courteous gentlemen to move a portion of my belongings into their storage area. When I called to arrange the final move out of my prior place, they suggested they bring out of storage the rest of my belongings.

In just four hours, I moved out of my prior place and had those items plus my storage items into my new home.

This company took the worry and heavy lifting off my already stressful shoulders.

I had Adam for both my moves and he always had a smile on his face, even in the 100+ temperatures and during the final process that included all the necessary paperwork.

This is the 2nd time in approx 3 months that we have used Muscular Moving Men. I have recommended this company to people I know when they need assistance with their move. The guys they send out are always courteous and pleasant. They are also quick and efficient. Muscular Moving Men is also very reasonably priced, and in my opinion, can't be beat! I agree that it is not professional. With regard to taking the items up the driveway in a Honda, I apologize if you did not approve of this. To date we are uncertain what if any damage was caused by the use of this vehicle. With regard to 2 items that you claimed as damage, it has become apparent that the condition was pre existing. Please take a moment to review the attached inventory pages from the move and note the 2 damages that were claimed on page 3 and 6 of the inventory. To date, we have issued payment on these to you along with multiple other items. Page 3 of 6 on your inventory (mini fridge) scratch noted at 9,8, 5, 10. Reimbursement was sent in the amount of $30.00 although this was a pre-existing condition. Page 5 of 6 (file cabinet) scratch noted R 10 and 9 Reimbursement was sent in the amount of $60.00 although this was a pre-existing condition.

On Time!! Very careful with everything they moved. Never hit a wall or scratched new paint. Very impressive and extremely nice folks. Great communication. Would recommend and use them again to move my entire household again. Thank Muscular Moving Men.
