Review: I purchased 10 total lifetime Ventrilo server slots and they are no longer available or active or available.Desired Settlement: I would like to seek my money back or an acceptable substitute for services paid for.

Review: Hello,

I purchased a 25 slot Ventrilo server from NationVoice.com back in september 2013 and untill few days ago the server worked as intended, now it gives the error: "This server has been remotely disabled. This license has been suspended. Hosting company has not paid their license fee."

This actually shounds very bad and its a strong reason for me to ask for a full refund in this case since the Ventrilo service administrator confirmed in a forum post ([redacted]) that the hosting service website [redacted] has been warned of their licence expiring within a month prior of the expring period! The hosting company failed to provide any sort of warning to their customers since they had suficient time to do that.

Thank youDesired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund and would like to report NationVoice for not providing the service I payed for.

Subscribers of NationVoice On April 16, 2014, our Ventrilo license, which was issued in 2005 was revoked by Flagship Industries. Since that time, we have not billed or accepted any further orders from new or existing customers. We have also disabled the ability to purchase any services from our website. Nationvoice would like to extend a formal apology for the lack of communication during this service interruption. Due to the overwhelming amount of requests, we could not respond to any NationVoice Support or Sales inquiries via our web based ticket or phone systems. Going forward, we will no longer be doing business with Ventrilo. We will instead be continuing service for all customers with myMumble. This is our second attempt to reach out to those whom were actively using our services on April 16th, 2014. If you’re receiving this email and have already received a refund from Nationvoice directly, or through other channels such as PayPal or your card issuing bank, then we cannot qualify you for the offer below to re-establish your service. We are going to be providing FREE service for the term of your paid service subscription. All that you need to do is submit your proof of purchase of your Ventrilo monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, or yearly service, and email address used to register your account via a Sales ticket to myMumble.com. We will also be including our proprietary AFK/Idle script, which will move inactive users to the channel of your choosing. Please also include your preference of location from our Network Map as well, as we offer many new locations that Ventrilo did not offer. In 2012, we did launch our Mumble division, along with the option for customers to switch from Ventrilo to Mumble as needed. At this time, myMumble is only providing Mumble software, which our user base has found to be far superior, and dramatically easier to maintain and support. NationVoice would like to thank all of it’s customers for the years of service, and the community support received since it’s inception. Review: When I login to the service the company provides this is the message I get, "This server has been remotely disabled. This license has been suspended. Hosting company has not paid their license fee." NationVoice LLC. has not paid a bill and has failed to respond to email, Phone calls, and esculations through there own website. Ironically they are still allowing new customers to setup services and excepting money from them that will lead to the customer not to be able to use services just purchased. I paid 59.99 in February for a years service which will end in feruary 2015.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my yearly fee refund so I can go with a company that can provide the service without interuption.

Response:

We would be happy to refund the unused portion of your annual renewal. Your renewal date was 2/2/14 at an annual rate of 59.99 Service was provided up to 4/18/2014, approximately 10 weeks of use. Using a monthly cost of 5$, your refund due would be 45$. The fastest and most efficient way to issue you a credit would be using PayPal. We ask that you provide a PayPal payment address so we can expedite your refund. If you are not a PayPal account holder, we may also send you a check to your mailing address, if such address is provided to us.

We look forward to a speedy resolution here.

I am rejecting this response because:

I have not received a refund yet and will resolve this only when that transaction has been completed. MY PayPal account is [redacted] and the refund amount would be 49.99 not 45.00 you only provided me with 2 months service at 5 dollars a month. Once I have received this refund I will gladly accept that as a resolution to this matter.

Review: I have been a member with Nation voice for over a year. but as of Friday april 18th 2014, when I attempt to connect to my hosted [redacted] Server I get the following error.

"This server has been remotely disabled.

This license has been suspended. Hosting company has not paid their license fee."

I submitted a ticket to their support site and have been waiting 4 days without a response. I have called and all I receive is a voicemail.

Their main website has a 99.9% account uptime (now breached), and less then 30 min response to all tickets.

From what i've read, i'm not the only person having this issue with nationvoice.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money for at last this month's fees. they have breached several of their own guarantees as per their website.

Review: I started to receive and error message when I attempted to log into my [redacted] account with Nation Voice stating that the service had been suspended due to license fee not being paid by the host company. I have submitted several tickets and attempted to email and call with no results. I purchased one years worth of service from their company. Service was purchased on Nov. 22, 2013 so I still have time left on my purchase.Desired Settlement: I am requesting refund of the unused time I have already purchased. I am not sure when the service was suspended as I don't use the service all the time but my ticket was first submitted 4/21.

Thanks for your assistance!

I have already selected another company for my business and will not be taking part in the offer of free [redacted] service. As I can't access my Nation Voice account, please cancel my subscription for [redacted] service from your company.

Review: The Vendor failed to provide contracted Ventrillo voice communications services starting on April 18th 2014. There was no response to a ticket I put in regarding this that evening. The vendor still pre-charged my PayPal account on 4/27/14 for May service when there has been no service since the 18th. I attempted to cancel my service today on April 28th, but I can't tell if its gone through or not. I have canceled any further payments through Paypal, but want the last charge refunded totalling $9.99Desired Settlement: Refund of payment made after the service became unavailable totalling 9.99

NationVoice would like to thank all of it’s customers for the years of service, and the community support received since it’s inception. From 2004, NationVoice was the #2 most popular search term for signing up for Ventrilo services, and over the years, Nationvoice has contributed support to the community in many forms, to include Technical Support on the Ventrilo forums, gaming conferences, tournaments, financial sponsoring of major gaming groups, and events at our own expense. We did so to offer not only our customers, but gamers in general, the experience that is associated with Ventrilo. This was not something we saw from our competitors, particularly upon the developmental stages of the Ventrilo brand. Since the summer of 2012, NationVoice has been under the primary operation of a single employee, which, under normal circumstances, did quite well with regards to customer support and service. NationVoice has had a few subcontractors to do some maintenance work to keep the servers online with minimum interruption. However, due to unforeseen acts of nature, deteriorating relationship with Flagship Industries, server compromises, and the removal of several untrustworthy contractors, the business end of NationVoice has been handled personally by the owner. The NationVoice website was also removed repeatedly (May 2010 and April 2011 respectively) from the Ventrilo.com hosting providers page. This repeatedly caused severe loss of business, as that was the primary source of our website traffic, next to industry word-of-mouth. The decision on both occasions to remove Nationvoice as an official provider of Ventrilo services on the Ventrilo.com hosting page were not related in anyway to unpaid license fees. The hosting page removal from April 2011 was due to a non-violation of our License Agreement, with Flagship Industries and all attempts to communicate with Flagship Industries over the last 3 years to restore our listing and reputation which included emails, phone calls, text messages, and confirmed postal mail have gone ignored. Our most recent attempts, as of April of 2014 in attempt to resolve the license fee issues with Flagship was met with the same treatment. As such, NationVoice is no longer sponsoring, endorsing or providing the Ventrilo software. Regards,[redacted]Owner, NationVoice Communications, LLC

Review: Nationvoice provides service to ventrilo servers allowing communication over the internet. I purchased a "lifetime" server for $150 that entitled me to a server for as long as I wanted to use one. Now this service has been taken offline with no notice at all and I am out the $150 I paid for a "lifetime" account. Please look into this company as this is definitely not good business practice.Desired Settlement: Refund of my $150.

Review: Spoke to sales August 2013 during a renewal process for my 25 man server (yearly cost of $83.92). I have had the server exactly 8 months since renewing for a lifetime subscription being told that it is a better deal as it will be up for years and saves money. I was charged $249.99 (was given a $25 off deal) which made the final charge $224.99. The company has a 30 minute support response, and 100% satisfaction guarantee listed on their site. Neither of these were upheld. They appear to have just took the money and ran.Desired Settlement: Since I was charged $224.99 and was only given 8 months of service, I am requesting the difference of a 12 month subscription be refunded to me. I feel that paying for a year of service at the rate of $83.92 is fair figuring there has been no communication with the company in days via phone, email, social media.

This would make the desired refund the following:

Original Payment: $224.99

Yearly Rate: $83.92

Refund Amount: 141.07

Even though I did not have this for a full year, I feel I did use the service for a period of time, and feel that offering 1 year's payment, and be refunded the overflow is a fair balance due to the lack of service, the termination of services to customers, no response to support requests, no communication regarding company at all.

Review: In January I purchased a "lifetime" license for a [redacted] server from NationVoice. In April of 2014 they appear to have gone out of business. The server was taken down. Support tickets and phone calls go unanswered. It appears they failed to pay their licensing fee to [redacted] and therefore can no longer honor their contract to me for a lifetime hosting of my server.Desired Settlement: A refund of the cost of my lifetime server ($240) to my credit card that was used to purchase it in january

If you’re receiving this email and have already received a refund from Nationvoice directly, or through other channels such as PayPal or your card issuing bank, then we cannot qualify you for the offer below to re-establish your service.

We are going to be providing FREE service for the term of your paid service subscription. All that you need to do is submit your proof of purchase of your [redacted] monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, or yearly service, and email address used to register your account via a Sales ticket to [redacted].com. We will also be including our proprietary AFK/Idle script, which will move inactive users to the channel of your choosing. Please also include your preference of location from our Network Map as well, as we offer many new locations that [redacted] did not offer. In 2012, we did launch our [redacted] division, along with the option for customers to switch from [redacted] to [redacted] as needed. At this time, [redacted] is only providing [redacted] software, which our user base has found to be far superior, and dramatically easier to maintain and support. NationVoice would like to thank all of it’s customers for the years of service, and the community support received since it’s inception.

From 2004, NationVoice was the #2 most popular search term for signing up for [redacted] services, and over the years, Nationvoice has contributed support to the community in many forms, to include Technical Support on the [redacted] forums, gaming conferences, tournaments, financial sponsoring of major gaming groups, and events at our own expense. We did so to offer not only our customers, but gamers in general, the experience that is associated with [redacted]. This was not something we saw from our competitors, particularly upon the developmental stages of the [redacted] brand.

Since the summer of 2012, NationVoice has been under the primary operation of a single employee, which, under normal circumstances, did quite well with regards to customer support and service. NationVoice has had a few subcontractors to do some maintenance work to keep the servers online with minimum interruption. However, due to unforeseen acts of nature, deteriorating relationship with [redacted] Industries, server compromises, and the removal of several untrustworthy contractors, the business end of NationVoice has been handled personally by the owner. The NationVoice website was also removed repeatedly (May 2010 and April 2011 respectively) from the [redacted].com hosting providers page. This repeatedly caused severe loss of business, as that was the primary source of our website traffic, next to industry word-of-mouth. The decision on both occasions to remove Nationvoice as an official provider of [redacted] services on the [redacted].com hosting page were not related in anyway to unpaid license fees.

The hosting page removal from April 2011 was due to a non-violation of our License Agreement, with [redacted] Industries and all attempts to communicate with [redacted] Industries over the last 3 years to restore our listing and reputation which included emails, phone calls, text messages, and confirmed postal mail have gone ignored. Our most recent attempts, as of April of 2014 in attempt to resolve the license fee issues with [redacted] was met with the same treatment. As such, NationVoice is no longer sponsoring, endorsing or providing the [redacted] software.

I would like a refund from the company

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: On April 14, 2013, I purchased a lifetime 5-man [redacted] server for $49.99. On May 11, 2013, I purchased a second lifetime 5-man [redacted] server, also for $49.99, which I later upgraded to a lifetime 25-man server on September 16, 2014, for an additional $200.00. Today I received an email from NationVoice stating that they would no longer be providing [redacted] servers and support, so I respectfully requested a refund of $299.98. I provided [redacted] versions of the PDF receipts I received as requested. The response I received read:

"What I can do for you, since you are a lifetime customer (and a resident of Soda City!), is provide you with a free 35-slot lifetime [redacted] server in our newest location, Atlanta, GA, which gets 50ms ping from Time Warner. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund, as all authorizations for our old card processor are void. If this is something you'd like to do, please let me know and I will get you setup today."

I no longer wish to do business with this company and would prefer a refund.Desired Settlement: A refund of $299.98 for the two [redacted] lifetime servers no longer provided, either in a check or a refund to my credit account.

Your Lifetime Membership will be honored, please read and follow the instructions below to reactivate your service.

Dear NationVoice Lifetime Members,

On April 16, 2014, our [redacted] license, which was issued in 2005 was revoked by [redacted] Industries. Since that time, we have not billed or accepted any further orders from new or existing customers. We have also disabled the ability to purchase any services from our website. Due to the overwhelming amount of requests, we have not responded to any NationVoice Support or Sales inquiries via our ticket or phone systems. However, over the course of the last few weeks, [redacted] has received several commendations from Lifetime members that have already signed up with our new [redacted] brand and have had their [redacted] server ported over to a [redacted] server.

As such, NationVoice is no longer sponsoring or endorsing or providing the [redacted] software.

As NationVoice was terminated from any and all agreements and support for the [redacted] software, NationVoice would like to extend an invitation for continuation of service with our [redacted] brand, [redacted]. If you are receiving this email, it means you are a Lifetime Member. As such, we would like to extend to you the option of resuming your Lifetime account with [redacted]. All you need to do is open a Sales ticket, and provide your email receipt of payment for your Lifetime membership. We will then provide you with a 100% one-time coupon good for a [redacted] server with a slot count equivalent to your Lifetime purchase.

The Nationvoice Lifetime memberships has always included the option for [redacted] and [redacted] service. In 2012, we did launch our [redacted] division, along with the option for customers to switch from [redacted] to [redacted] as needed. At this time, [redacted] is only providing [redacted] software, which NationVoice has found to be far superior, and dramatically easier to maintain and support. NationVoice would like to thank all of it’s customers for the years of service, and the community support received since it’s inception.

If NationVoice has already refunded your Lifetime Membership, either through [redacted], or through the dispute process with your card issuer or bank, then unfortunately, we will not be able to provide you with the Lifetime server coupon. You can, however, sign up for a free 5-slot [redacted] server, which we provide on our website. No payment information is required for our free 5 User Lifetime [redacted] service, but we do ask the you use the original email address you used at NationVoice to sign up with, so we can correlate your signup to your Lifetime Membership account. NationVoice can no longer reply to any support or billing requests via the NationVoice.com website or phone systems. That being said, at this time, we will respond via the [redacted].com Billing system to process any new support or sales inquiries.

Review: I have been a Nation Voice customer since October of 2007. I have purchased 100-person Ventrilo Voice over IP server hosting from them on an annual basis since that time. Beginning on April 19, 2014 the server became unavailable for all of my users and we have been unable to use the service that I purchased.Desired Settlement: I would like the services restored or my money refunded for the remainder of this year's subscription to hosting.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

I don't want Mumble services, and regardless we have already moved on to another more reliable VoIP provider. This offer is not useful to me. Don't try to spin this as me having already used half of my service. I paid you in advance for a specific thing. You can't provide that thing, and you left me with no word at all long enough that I had no choice but to pay someone else to do what you could not. Maybe if you had made this offer within days of losing your Ventrilo license for non-payment instead of after more than a month of complete silence and non-responsiveness, I would be inclined to continue to use your service, but at this point I would simply like a refund.

Regards,

Review: About a week ago the Ventrilo server that I paid a lifetime subscription for from Nationvoice went down. The error message is currently displaying that the server's license was suspended and that the hosting company has not paid their fee. Nationvoice has provided good customer service in the past so I immediately sent in a ticket. There has been no response from Nationvoice and today I've found the problem is widespread and Nationvoice is not responding to anyone. The existence of the company is even in doubt. There has been no official announcement from the company regarding these issues. As I've had the lifetime server over a year now I doubt I can get a refund but I feel this business needs to be reported and action should be taken. This is unacceptable treatment.Desired Settlement: I'd like at least a partial refund for the time I have used on the server. I paid for a 25 slot server which cost $250. If Nationvoice still exists or not, I have no way of finding out. But either way this is unacceptable treatment for their customers. If no refund can happen then I'll be at least glad to know they are being investigated. Thank you.

Review: I pay this company every month for Ventrilo services which are auto-paid using my credit card. I verified that this payment went through on 04/11/14. Since early on 04/18/14 this company has stopped providing services to me and I receive a note when I try to log on to Ventrilo that Nationvoice has failed to pay its licencing fees so services have been remotely cut off. NationVoice has not responded to my attempts to contact them and they have not sent an email or any communication explaining to its customers the status of what is going on. Another issue is that their website say that you can call them on Saturdays from 11am - 6pm EST, but I have called and it tells you that no one is in the office to take the call. A message on the phone says they you need to submit a ticket on the website which is services 24/7 and will be responded to in 30 minutes or less. I submitted a ticket hours ago and no one has responded. This company has a lot of issues they are not addressing properly.Desired Settlement: This company owes me for not following through on its promise to provide me services when I have always provided my promise of payment. I feel that a free upgrade in service would be most appropriate but I doubt they care enough about their customers to do that.
