Review: Ventrilo VOIP server hosting service, totaling $249.99, was ordered through [redacted] on April 5, 2014. The service and hosted server was registered to name and email, with debit card retained on file, and was understood to be a "Lifetime Membership". A 30-day-refund policy was also noted. On and since April 18th, 2014, the Ventrilo service/server was no longer accessible due to NationVoice and company failing to pay licensing fees so required to operate as a host (perhaps even legal reasons, but no information has been forthcoming and the customer base is not pleased). Customer support tickets, web services, phone lines, and social media pages have been discontinued without reason, and without notification or intent to honor agreements or services hereafter.Desired Settlement: Notification of refund or transfer of service.

The best hope for the credibility of NationVoice and its responsible parties - to refund the purchase price, per the 30-day agreement, and regardless of their current financial or legal situation (which the customer base has not been informed of). Moreover, with not even two weeks passing since the beginning of services rendered, and with no response of any kind, myself and many others obviously feel robbed. Such a scale of business practice should not be tolerated.

This was not something we saw from our competitors, particularly upon the developmental stages of the Ventrilo brand. Since the summer of 2012, NationVoice has been under the primary operation of a single employee, which, under normal circumstances, did quite well with regards to customer support and service. NationVoice has had a few subcontractors to do some maintenance work to keep the servers online with minimum interruption. However, due to unforeseen acts of nature, deteriorating relationship with Flagship Industries, server compromises, and the removal of several untrustworthy contractors, the business end of NationVoice has been handled personally by the owner. The NationVoice website was also removed repeatedly (May 2010 and April 2011 respectively) from the Ventrilo.com hosting providers page. This repeatedly caused severe loss of business, as that was the primary source of our website traffic, next to industry word-of-mouth. The decision on both occasions to remove Nationvoice as an official provider of Ventrilo services on the Ventrilo.com hosting page were not related in anyway to unpaid license fees. The hosting page removal from April 2011 was due to a non-violation of our License Agreement, with Flagship Industries and all attempts to communicate with Flagship Industries over the last 3 years to restore our listing and reputation which included emails, phone calls, text messages, and confirmed postal mail have gone ignored. Our most recent attempts, as of April of 2014 in attempt to resolve the license fee issues with Flagship was met with the same treatment. As such, NationVoice is no longer sponsoring or endorsing or providing the Ventrilo software. As NationVoice was terminated from any and all agreements and support for the Ventrilo software, NationVoice would like to extend an invitation for continuation of service with our Mumble brand, myMumble. Review: I have purchased a Lifetime membership to Nation Voice's communication service and recently that service has been shut down. I have tried emailing, opening a ticket and calling this company with no luck at all. I know I am not the only unsatisfied customer and I am hoping someone can make this right for all the customers that have lost services. For a company to just outright shutdown without any warning is just wrong!Desired Settlement: I chose other because I honestly would like a letter, phone call, email or any form of communication explaining the situation. A refund would be great or exchange of service (since they do have other services out there). But some form of explanation would be appreciated

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I've had Nation Voice's Ventrilo service for approximately 8-9 years. We purchased a lifetime subscription last year in February for 250 dollars. April 14th, we realized that we could no longer connect to our server. That date could be off by a couple days. We cannot contact customer service, my wife left them a voice message and placed a ticket on their website stating their service was not available. The error message we got was that they didn't pay their licensing fee. We also placed in a ticket on their website, that seems to still be working, but no response. Their facebook is no longer there and they haven't posted on twitter in months. We cannot contact them on the phone either. It's May 4th and we still aren't able to contact the company and as far as we know, no one can.Desired Settlement: 250 dollars, what we paid for our lifetime subscription.

Review: On 6/5/2010, I purchased a 25-slot [redacted] server "lifetime" plan from NationVoice.com for a one time payment of $250. I used the service from the date of purchase until the afternoon of 4/18/2010.

On 4/18/2014, after being online all morning, I find out via calls from friends that they can no longer access our chat server. When I attempted to login I recieved the following:

This license has been suspended. Hosting company has not paid their license fee.

I filed a support ticket that same day and didn't see the ticket status change for three(3) days at which time it went from an "unassigned" to "assigned" state. No email or phone correspondence from the company indicated what their issue was.

I found access to the control page had been removed when I attempted to view the status of my ticket on 4/28/2014. Subsequently, I found other services they offer were also broken or removed all while their main page looks like an active business supports it.

On April 16, 2014, our [redacted] license, which was issued in 2005 was revoked by Flagship Industries. Since that time, we have not billed or accepted any further orders from new or existing customers. We have also disabled the ability to purchase any services from our website. Due to the overwhelming amount of requests, we have not responded to any NationVoice Support or Sales inquiries via our ticket or phone systems. From 2004, NationVoice was the #2 most popular search term for signing up for [redacted] services, and over the years, Nationvoice has contributed support to the community in many forms, to include Technical Support on the [redacted] forums, gaming conferences, tournaments, financial sponsoring of major gaming groups, and events at our own expense. We did so to offer not only our customers, but gamers in general, the experience that is associated with [redacted]. This was not something we saw from our competitors, particularly upon the developmental stages of the [redacted] brand.

Since the summer of 2012, NationVoice has been under the primary operation of a single employee, which, under normal circumstances, did quite well with regards to customer support and service. NationVoice has had a few subcontractors to do some maintenance work to keep the servers online with minimum interruption. However, due to unforeseen acts of nature, deteriorating relationship with Flagship Industries, server compromises, and the removal of several untrustworthy contractors, the business end of NationVoice has been handled personally by the owner. The NationVoice website was also removed repeatedly (May 2010 and April 2011 respectively) from the [redacted].com hosting providers page. This repeatedly caused severe loss of business, as that was the primary source of our website traffic, next to industry word-of-mouth. The decision on both occasions to remove Nationvoice as an official provider of [redacted] services on the [redacted].com hosting page were not related in anyway to unpaid license fees.

The hosting page removal from April 2011 was due to a non-violation of our License Agreement, with Flagship Industries and all attempts to communicate with Flagship Industries over the last 3 years to restore our listing and reputation which included emails, phone calls, text messages, and confirmed postal mail have gone ignored. Our most recent attempts, as of April of 2014 in attempt to resolve the license fee issues with Flagship was met with the same treatment. As such, NationVoice is no longer sponsoring or endorsing or providing the [redacted] software.

As NationVoice was terminated from any and all agreements and support for the [redacted] software, NationVoice would like to extend an invitation for continuation of service with our [redacted] brand, my[redacted]. If you are receiving this email, it means you are a Lifetime Member. As such, we would like to extend to you the option of resuming your Lifetime account with my[redacted]. All you need to do is open a Sales ticket, and provide your email receipt of payment for your Lifetime membership. Your Lifetime Membership which was sold to you in June of 2010, included the use of not just [redacted] but also [redacted] and TeamSpeak. Moving forward, it has been almost 4 years since you have purchased your service at an original rate of 249.99. If your plan was charged monthly, then your total to date due would be $479.52. Your savings over the time has been significant suggesting you have received equal value or greater over the years. Moving forward the only option we can offer you would be to reinstate your membership on our [redacted] network. To ask for a refund for a service which you have been using without interruption for 4 years is simply out of the question, considering we are offering you an equal if not better service. Most importantly, we are keeping our commitment to Lifetime members for continuation of service.
