Nation Voice Communications Reviews (92)

Review: Approximately six months ago I paid $239.00 for a lifetime service with NationVoice LLC. for the use of VOIP service hosted by this company. The past week I have sent in complaints of service, I was guaranteed 99% up time, or service 99% of the time. The past week I have attempted to use this service to no avail. I would not normally file a complaint but since I paid for this (Lifetime) service only to use it for 6 months this is very disheartening. Sincerely [redacted]Desired Settlement: I paid $239.00 for this service and wish to have the money refunded.

Your Lifetime Membership will be honored, please read and follow the instructions below to reactivate your service.Dear NationVoice Lifetime Members, On April 16, 2014, our Ventrilo license, which was issued in 2005 was revoked by Flagship Industries. Since that time, we have not billed or accepted any further orders from new or existing customers. We have also disabled the ability to purchase any services from our website. Due to the overwhelming amount of requests, we have not responded to any NationVoice Support or Sales inquiries via our ticket or phone systems. However, over the course of the last few weeks, myMumble has received several commendations from Lifetime members that have already signed up with our new Mumble brand and have had their Ventrilo server ported over to a Mumble server. From 2004, NationVoice was the #2 most popular search term for signing up for Ventrilo services, and over the years, Nationvoice has contributed support to the community in many forms, to include Technical Support on the Ventrilo forums, gaming conferences, tournaments, financial sponsoring of major gaming groups, and events at our own expense. We did so to offer not only our customers, but gamers in general, the experience that is associated with Ventrilo. This was not something we saw from our competitors, particularly upon the developmental stages of the Ventrilo brand. Since the summer of 2012, NationVoice has been under the primary operation of a single employee, which, under normal circumstances, did quite well with regards to customer support and service. NationVoice has had a few subcontractors to do some maintenance work to keep the servers online with minimum interruption. However, due to unforeseen acts of nature, deteriorating relationship with Flagship Industries, server compromises, and the removal of several untrustworthy contractors, the business end of NationVoice has been handled personally by the owner. The NationVoice website was also removed repeatedly (May 2010 and April 2011 respectively) from the Ventrilo.com hosting providers page. This repeatedly caused severe loss of business, as that was the primary source of our website traffic, next to industry word-of-mouth. The decision on both occasions to remove Nationvoice as an official provider of Ventrilo services on the Ventrilo.com hosting page were not related in anyway to unpaid license fees. The hosting page removal from April 2011 was due to a non-violation of our License Agreement, with Flagship Industries and all attempts to communicate with Flagship Industries over the last 3 years to restore our listing and reputation which included emails, phone calls, text messages, and confirmed postal mail have gone ignored. Our most recent attempts, as of April of 2014 in attempt to resolve the license fee issues with Flagship was met with the same treatment. As such, NationVoice is no longer sponsoring or endorsing or providing the Ventrilo software. As NationVoice was terminated from any and all agreements and support for the Ventrilo software, NationVoice would like to extend an invitation for continuation of service with our Mumble brand, myMumble. If you are receiving this email, it means you are a Lifetime Member. As such, we would like to extend to you the option of resuming your Lifetime account with myMumble. All you need to do is open a Sales ticket, and provide your email receipt of payment for your Lifetime membership. We will then provide you with a 100% one-time coupon good for a Mumble server with a slot count equivalent to your Lifetime purchase. The Nationvoice Lifetime memberships has always included the option for Ventrilo and Mumble service. In 2012, we did launch our Mumble division, along with the option for customers to switch from Ventrilo to Mumble as needed. At this time, myMumble is only providing Mumble software, which NationVoice has found to be far superior, and dramatically easier to maintain and support. NationVoice would like to thank all of it’s customers for the years of service, and the community support received since it’s inception. If NationVoice has already refunded your Lifetime Membership, either through PayPal, or through the dispute process with your card issuer or bank, then unfortunately, we will not be able to provide you with the Lifetime server coupon. You can, however, sign up for a free 5-slot Mumble server, which we provide on our website. No payment information is required for our free 5 User Lifetime Mumble service, but we do ask the you use the original email address you used at NationVoice to sign up with, so we can correlate your signup to your Lifetime Membership account. NationVoice can no longer reply to any support or billing requests via the NationVoice.com website or phone systems. That being said, at this time, we will respond via the myMumble.com Billing system to process any new support or sales inquiries.Regards[redacted]Owner, NationVoice Communications, LLC

Review: Hi,

It appears NationVoice.com has gone defunct without any notice. I would not be writing you today if they had announced termination of their services with a public apology - instead they simply disappeared, and made no effort to contact anyone or respond to inquiring support tickets, but did find the time to take the live chat feature down from their website... I purchased a 5 slot lifetime use server in June 2011, and later upgraded it to 10 slots for an additional $39.99 USD 'just-in-case' I needed more slots, when they offered me a 20% discount. 34 months does not seem like 'lifetime' membership/service to me. I never used the extra slots - if I paid for an annual recurring plan and factor in their frequent discount codes, I would've spent as little as $0.80 per month, or $27.20 - far less than I did by buying 34 month 'lifetime' service. ($37.78 would've been saved.)

Add me to the list of complaints. It's not right to disappear and cut service without explaining why.Desired Settlement: $37.78 for unprovided services, plus a public apology to all their customers.

I was looking for a spot to update this listing. They finally sent out a letter a month or so ago, and got their customers set up on new [redacted] servers. Mine has been up and running for a while - I haven't used it for much yet, but as long as it stays operational I'll be happy.

You should make it a bit easier to submit amendments on your website when available information changes. I came back here twice and got stuck at 'awaiting response from business'.

Consider my complaint resolved.

Review: I was charged via paypal on April 20th for a service that was no longer available due to negligence on behalf of Nation Voice. I was renting a VOIP server on a monthly basis from Nation Voice, but Nation Voice had not paid their license fee and was shut down. This shutdown occurred before April 20th, and not only did I not get the end of my previous monthly subscription, they charged me for an additional month after the shutdown.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded by Nation Voice as they were not able to provide a service that I paid for, and charged me again knowing full well I would still not receive the service. Nation Voice also made no attempt to contact me through their ticketing system. I now understand that the Revdex.com has issued a warning regarding Nation Voice.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I ordered a "Lifetime" voice server less than 2 months ago for the price of $150.00. The business has just last week gone off the grid. No service has been rendered in over 2 weeks now and they will not respond to phone calls or emails to resolve the matter. Now at a standard price for two months server, the total would have been (based on pricing for their website) $30.00. This leaves a total of $120.00 that is unaccounted for (in my opinion, scammed). No business in my lifetime, just goes up in smoke over 2 weeks time without knowing it is coming. This company appears to have gathered as much cash as they could and then pulled the plug.Desired Settlement: I really want a refund of the money owed to me.

Regards,

Review: I have purchased a "Lifetime" subscription from the company, "NationVoice Communications, LLC" based out of [redacted] NJ. This service was interrupted, and I can no longer log into the voice server that I paid for. When attempting to log into the server using the correct settings and credentials, I get the following message:

This server has been remotely disabled.

This license has been suspended. Hosting company has not paid their license fee.

Which lets me know that NationVoice Communications, LLC has not paid the appropriate fees to the underlying hosting company. I have attempted to contact their company via the phone number listed online - it goes straight to voice mail. I have attempted to submit a support ticket to resolve the issue, but with no response. I have attempted to contact their "Live Chat" service during appropriate hours, but it is no longer functional. I have also checked multiple media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, which are linked from their main website for any notification of an outage or a problem, with no success. It seems as though these people have taken my money, are not providing the service they are contractually obligated to provide, and have shut down all forms of communication with me as a customer.Desired Settlement: First, I would like my services restored as per our agreement. Second,, I would like a response from the company acknowledging the issue. Third, I would like an explanation of why I received the notification that I did and why it was necessary. Finally, I would like to know what mechanisms are now in place to keep this from happening in the future. I would like all of these in writing and via a direct phone call from someone who was directly responsible for the situation's resolution with a direct contact number for them, should this happen again.

That being said, at this time, we will respond via the myMumble.com Billing system to process any new support or sales inquiries.Regards,[redacted]Owner, NationVoice Communications, LLC

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: This does not provide the service I paid for. I also see that I can no longer log into the website in which I purchased the service from. I do not want a [redacted] account. I would like a refund for the services that I paid for that I didn't get to use.

Business

Response:

We received your reply and would like to accept your response and issue a refund for the unused portion of your purchase. Your last renewal was processed in January of 2014 for 12 months of use on your account. Your refund back would amount to your original purchase minus the portion used 3.5 months and the setup fee which is already incorporated into the cost of your service of 10.00 for the annual plan. Your refund total will be 109.57

Please provide a PayPal email address or a home address where we can mail a check. We may only issue the refund check in your name as the original purchaser. Unfortunately because your invoice was processed over 6 months ago, a direct refund back to the original card used is not possible.

Thank you for your consideration and hope this resolves your concern.

Review: I have been using Nation Voice since 2007. Renewing the annual service every year. In December of 2012 I upgraded to the 15 slot lifetime ventrilo server for 149.99. In February 2014 I added 10 lifetime slots for an additional 100.00. As of the 18th of April 2014 I have not been able to log onto my lifetime server. The server shows online however, Nation Voice has not paid its licensing fees so we cant log on. I have sent two tickets, one on Friday the 18th and one on Saturday the 19th. No response. I called on Friday 18th night, Saturday 19th morning, Monday 21st morning, Wed 23rd morning and Friday 25th Morning with no responses. I have had to go with another company.Desired Settlement: I would like my 249.99 refunded since I do not have use of the lifetime server that I purchased.

Review: The NationVoice company has not honored our agreement of a lifetime [redacted] server. I paid roughly 50 USD for an agreed lifetime [redacted] server, around about 2 years ago. On April 21, 2014, I tried accessing the server only to be notified that the server company had not paid their license fees to the [redacted] company. No response is available from the NationVoice support team, and the phone line that usually provides support is no longer active. Many other NationVoice customers have encountered the same issues, and no correspondence has been heard from NationVoice.Desired Settlement: Refund of my initial 50 dollar payment for the agreed "LifeTime" server.

Review: I bought a lifetime [redacted] server from Nation Voice for $250. On April 18th my server was deactivated due to Nation Voice not paying their license fees. As such, NationVoice is no longer sponsoring, endorsing or providing the Ventrilo software. Regards,John CannarozzoOwner, NationVoice Communications, LLC

I am rejecting this response because:I followed the requested actions via ticket #[redacted] and it was closed but the service was not transferred. I then followed up to the ticket but never received a response. I have to infer from the wording of their response to the complaint and subsequent actions that the lifetime memberships they offered are not being honored with the new service.

Review: Nationvoice failed to pay their licensing fees for their ventrilo servers and ventrilo remotely disabled all of their servers. All attempts to contact nationvoice are being ignored nationvoice has gone dark as of friday april 18 2pm EST. They offer a 30 minute or less promise for support tickets which has gone unanswered. An attempt to make contact via phone was met with a rude agent who then hung up on me. They have since enabled voicemail on their phone line and are sending all calls directly there. They have also disabled their live chat support on their web page. They have also disabled their facebook page. Their twitter page was still up as of monday april 21 11:45am EST but they are ignoring the flood of messages being posted by customers on it. They billed me just prior to going dark. Their sales page is up and still accepting the purchase of new servers and new customers are posting on forums that they just purchased a server and are unable to use it or get in touch with nationvoice.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to contact its customers and let us know what is going on. I'm willing to give them a second chance as I've been a longtime customer but if they are not going to pay their bills I would like a refund for this months service that I was billed for just days before they stopped paying their bills and went dark as I no longer have access to my services they are billing me for.

Subscribers of NationVoice On April 16, 2014, our Ventrilo license, which was issued in 2005 was revoked by Flagship Industries. Since that time, we have not billed or accepted any further orders from new or existing customers. We have also disabled the ability to purchase any services from our website. Nationvoice would like to extend a formal apology for the lack of communication during this service interruption. Due to the overwhelming amount of requests, we could not respond to any NationVoice Support or Sales inquiries via our web based ticket or phone systems. Going forward, we will no longer be doing business with Ventrilo. We will instead be continuing service for all customers with myMumble. This is our second attempt to reach out to those whom were actively using our services on April 16th, 2014. If you’re receiving this email and have already received a refund from Nationvoice directly, or through other channels such as PayPal or your card issuing bank, then we cannot qualify you for the offer below to re-establish your service. We are going to be providing FREE service for the term of your paid service subscription. All that you need to do is submit your proof of purchase of your Ventrilo monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, or yearly service, and email address used to register your account via a Sales ticket to myMumble.com. We will also be including our proprietary AFK/Idle script, which will move inactive users to the channel of your choosing. Please also include your preference of location from our Network Map as well, as we offer many new locations that Ventrilo did not offer. In 2012, we did launch our Mumble division, along with the option for customers to switch from Ventrilo to Mumble as needed. At this time, myMumble is only providing Mumble software, which our user base has found to be far superior, and dramatically easier to maintain and support. Review: I had bought a lifetime [redacted]) server from Nation Voice, with a transaction of $249.99, when I first purchased it, it worked fine, but then a friend had purchased another [redacted] server, so I hadn't needed to use mine. I didn't use it for 2-3 months. My friends [redacted] server had gotten shut down(not the same business), I went back to use mine, and it was not working, so I tried to call Nation Voice Communications, but there was no answer, let alone ring. I did a little research on it, and came across an article saying that Nation Voice Communications had the Revdex.com Seal of Approval, with an A+ rating, but actually did not have such a rating. It also said, Nation Voice Communications had lost its license with [redacted] and was no longer able to sell their servers, and that there were 834 inquiries regarding the services from Nation Voice Communications being stopped. The article is on the Philadelphia CBSlocal website, dated April 29, 2014.Desired Settlement: I believe I should be refunded in the full price I payed for the service I hadn't received, I also believe that Nation Voice should be held accountable for not having their Customer Service available at the time of the incident, and having a false Revdex.com seal on their website.

We have moved our Lifetime members over to our [redacted] division. Simply follow the directions below to reactivate your voice service. With regards to the Revdex.com logo on our website, there was no attempt to mislead, as we have always maintained an A+ rating with the NJ Revdex.com. I am rejecting this response because: While I'm thankful for the reply, and for the offer of continued coverage of my service via NationVoice's [redacted] program, this option does not resolve the issue for me. I have no desire to use [redacted] as my communication service and therefore this offer is rejected. I would be more satisfied having my Lifetime Service payment refunded to me so that I may take my business elsewhere. I harbor no ill feelings toward NationVoice, but the fact remains that I did not make the decision to terminate a relationship with [redacted].

Your purchase of the Lifetime Membership included the use of 3 voice services, including [redacted],[redacted] and [redacted]. Please note the membership includes but not limited to the services in which we offer, not solely [redacted] as the only option. As noted in my letter, the relationship with [redacted] after 12 years has been terminated. We have successfully transitioned our Lifetime Members to an alternate service. Additionally, we plan to release a new voice platform in shot time, which will expand your membership items.

We offer step by step videos and tutorials to allow you an easy transition over to our new software.

Review: I purchased a life-time server with nationvoice in September of 2010. I can provide a credit card statement to prove purchase amount. In April, the server stopped working and I have been unable to reach their customer service team to resolve the issue. Review: I purchased lifetime ownership of a 35 man Ventrilo server through Nation Voice Communications LLC. This past month I suddenly was unable to connect to the server without warning. When I try to connect to my server it says, "This server has been remotely disabled. This license has been suspended. Hosting company has not paid their license fee." Further research has indicated that Nation Voice Communications has not paid their license fee causing this issue. I paid $349.99 for lifetime service so understandably I am upset. I have contacted Nation Voice Communications two times via customer support tickets after logging into their website. Both of these tickets remain unassigned and have gone unanswered despite their promise on their to answer all tickets within 30 minutes. I have called Nation Voice and left a message on their answering machine with no return call. I have even gone to their website and submitted a message regarding this issue which has also gone unanswered. Given their lack of response I am reporting my concern about their business practices here. Clearly my lifetime Ventrilo service which I paid for in full is not been honored.Desired Settlement: I would like my service restored or a full refund.

That being said, at this time, we will respond via the myMumble.com Billing system to process any new support or sales inquiries.Regards,[redacted]Owner, NationVoice Communications, LLC

Review: My Ventrilo account which I've had for several years now and is paid up 6 months in advance (this cycle thru end of May 2014) was terminated due to [This server has been remotely disabled. This license has been suspended. Hosting company has not paid their license fee.] I received this message when I was attempting to reconnect to my vent account after being booted out. I immediately went to the Ventrilo page, logged into my account, submitted a trouble ticket and promptly waited for a response. Well that was 2 weeks ago now. Since that time I have attempted to call their [redacted] phone number numerous times it goes automatically to voice mail and no phone call returned. I have tried using their online "ring back service" and again I get put on hold for a few minutes and it automatically goes right to voice mail. I've attempted to use their "live chat service" which fails to launch, I did get to use it once yesterday where I promptly sat in a que for 1 1/2 hrs with no live chat assistance. I've attempted to use their "customer control center" which they have on their recording if you are a current customer that is how they want you to submit technical support issues. I have attempted to log into my account again today and now I can't even log in.Desired Settlement: I wish to have this either repaired and compensation for the service I've not been able to use and have paid for, as well as additional compensation for the trouble that I've had to go through to get them to take care of their current customers who are experiencing issues.
