Roman #464646">We are writing in response to the consumer's complaint of [redacted] ***Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention Mr [redacted] received a membership card in the mail, not a credit card As the complaint suggests, mailing of unsolicited credit and debit cards is an illegal practice National Funding has never sent such an offer While there are design similarities, the differences between what we mail and a credit card are significant: The National Funding marketing piece contains no association logo (***, [redacted] , etc.), and there is neither a magnetic strip nor a signature strip on the back of this card Furthermore, the card specifically states that it is a ‘membership card, not a credit card.’ The package is designed to gain interest in our financing services, and is a commonly used format in the financial services industry ***’s business was prequalified for our membership card based on the business information provided to us by [redacted] To activate the account, additional information would have been required from [redacted] *** We also check additional business sources, such as the Secretary of State We apologize for any concerns that our marketing piece may have caused Mr [redacted] and we appreciate the opportunity to address themWe will ensure [redacted] is removed from our system Thank you National Funding, Inc

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [ National Funding's response is half right; they talked at meThere wasn’t what anyone I know would call a “conversation” with me at allGetting this “resolved” as the response says, would have been covering the dealers’ holding fee that they incurred by holding it over weeks for their information that they would be funding and sending half up front, reimbursing my company for our time & mileage to look at the two vehicles which wouldn’t had been done if the loan wasn’t technically “approved”, and reimbursing everyone the notary fees they incurred in the processThe fact of the matter is they misrepresented themselves to me through the entire processTelling me I’m “Approved” for around $35,and to “go find vehicles.” Also, asking me to fill out paperwork to facilitate title transfers and power of attorney’s to finalize said “approved” loan after finding specific vehiclesThen taking up the sellers time with filling out power of attorney’s for said vehicles including Electronic Funds Transfer information for at least one of the sellersKeeping everyone involved in a holding pattern waiting for dispersal of funds from the “approved” loan, for multiple weeks for which never came even though, telling the sellers and myself, that things were moving forward with the “approved” loan and that money should be sent soon when anyone askedThen later ask for some other papers to verify my business bank accounts which were provided including bank manager contact infoOnly to then pull funding at the close of the end of the next of the business day which was the last day of the weekAsking my company to submit a new application to run credit once again, with a vice president of my company which was disclosed at time of the original application, but I was told more then once he wouldn’t need to be on the documents. It was at this time I chose to file a complaint with the Revdex.com because I felt as though my business, and the businesses / persons I was trying to do business with, was being jerked around with no end in sightThe following Monday came and I got no answer from our loan manager when I calledI called his supervisor as wellIt was at this time I called from my business’ California business phone number and he picked up right away, telling me that he would call me backThat he had to respond and deal with my Revdex.com complaint while also contacting under writers about the new applicationI never got to speak with that rep againA different rep called meThis new rep said they weren’t going to fund and told me to look elsewhereI thoroughly believe that if I had not filed this complaint that they would still be trying to get my business and jerking me around more in the processThere were times when I would go a few days without hearing anythingThere were also times when my calls weren’t being answered or returnedWhen I would call from one of my out of state phone numbers, magically, my calls would be answered without delayThis whole dispute could have been avoided had the company been honest that the initial funding approval was not really an approvalI would not have wasted both myself and Vice President's time driving hours each way to look at different vehicles multiple times, nor wasted anyone’s time with holding vehiclesI would have looked for funding elsewhere to whom would actually fund what they say they will before looking at any vehicles anywhere.] Regards, [redacted] ***

We are responded to the consumer's complaint of Ms [redacted] ***:We have ensured that Ms***'s record has been removed from our list, however, total removal may take 60-daysAfter this time, Ms [redacted] will no longer receive mailingsOur financial solicitations are not credit card offers, and there is no risk of identity theft, as additional business information is required from the business owner to obtain a business loan or equipment leaseBusiness information is publicly provided by [redacted] and the Secretary of StateWe encourage Ms [redacted] to contact these agencies if she wishes her business to be placed on a Do Not Solicit list to ensure she no longer receives these offers from any other companies, as this is a common practice in the financial industry, and is not illegal.Thank you,National Funding, Inc

Roman #464646">We are writing in response to the consumer's complaint of [redacted] . Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The marketing piece Mr. [redacted] received in the mail is not a pre-approved line of credit, but rather a membership card listing a reference number in order to locate his file in our system. Pacific Sunscapes was Pre-Qualified based on the information we receive from [redacted] . In order to activate this account, additional information would have been necessary from [redacted] . The National Funding marketing piece contains no association logo (***, [redacted] , etc.), and there is neither a magnetic strip nor a signature strip on the back of this card. Furthermore, the card specifically states that it is a ‘membership card, not a credit card.’ The package is designed to gain interest in our financing services, and is a commonly used format in the financial services industry. We apologize for any concerns that our marketing piece may have caused Mr. Shelton and we appreciate the opportunity to address them. We will ensure [redacted] and [redacted] are removed from our system. Thank you National Funding, Inc.

I also received a "membership card" with an account number on it - and my full nameI called and was told that there was no account - it was a membership, not a credit cardYet there is an account number with "your new account has been established" written on itI never inquired for a membership and I don't care what excuses they have that gets them by legally, I DON'T APPRECIATE ITAnd the cocky young man I was on the phone with who quickly grew impatient with me didn't help my aggravationGO AWAY

In the last 6 months I received many email from [redacted] , (National Funding ),if I want to take business load to help improve our business, I was skeptical to find it being real, later on around December a friend of mine call me about getting business loan ,for my business, I said ok I give it try, later on he came back with high interest, so I didn't want it , and I thought about ***, so I gave him a try , david was able to get me the loan with lesser interest and quick , with better term, in a matter of a week the whole thing was done, no hidden costs, no situation very honest and business and I respect that , and I am hoping to continue business relation and keep my end of the bargain with them and I talk them all for helping me to get the business help I need . Best Regards Alex [redacted] president [redacted] INC. [redacted] ***

Today I received a letter from the mentioned company With a pre-qualification of 100k line of credit I haven't asked for this and suspecting my future credit score will be jeopardized Secondly, they misspelled my name as well

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I do not think I want to put it on a temporary holdI had already said my rebuttal within the initial complaint and the replies that followedIf that wasn't clear enough, here's more.My complaint isn't about not being funded, it's about the lie that I was funded and to go find vehiclesThe complaint itself is about the time and money wasted on not only myself or my company but also that of the vehicles owners and of the vendors in paperwork, including giving out routing and account numbersThe vehicle that was setting at the dealership was costing them money sitting on their lot being held for me because National Funding told them that the funds would be sent soon only to ask for additional paperwork every time we turned aroundIf the funds weren't going to be made available, why tell me and waste my time finding vehicles? That's the point of this whole complaintThat they (National funding) wasted my time, money, etc to the point that if I add up all the labor hours wasted it comes to $4,just for my company's man hours aloneWe charge $an hour for our timeGoing up to look at the two vehicles in question was man hours taken away from our companyThis translates to the $4,wasted hoursNot counting the hours in paperwork involved, paying notary fees, etcfor my companyNot counting the wasted hours on the vendors side and their fees involved in holding the vehiclesI have every document recorded and every phone call recordedWhen they said you're approved up to the X amount and to go find the vehicles up to that amount, I took them at their word that I was going to get funding up to that amountNot go pick out vehicles, and the funds would have to be approved again based on the picked out vehiclesNone of that was said, none of that was written downThis is what the foundation of the complaint isThe fact that I was lied to and the rabbit hole of wasted time, energy, money, etcthat followed [redacted] error in calculations*** Man hours wasted going to look at vehicles was for the first vehicle and hours for the second vehicle looked atWhich would come to $4,of lost revenue for both the President and Vice President to waste our time Regards, [redacted] ***

Good Afternoon, I have listened to the calls between [redacted] , the customer, and [redacted] , National Funding Sales representativesIt appears that [redacted] first called in 3/6/and inquired about our working capital programIn talking to [redacted] about his annual revenue and its decline the last years [redacted] quickly let [redacted] know that our working capital program would not be a fit for his businessThe declining annual revenue would make him ineligible for any programs that we currently offer for this product Once [redacted] marked the system as low annual revenue the account was sent over to [redacted] , a leasing representativeOn 3/7/ [redacted] let [redacted] know that she might be able to complete a lease with him if he had some equipment financing needs [redacted] sent over the credit application for [redacted] to fill out and send backUpon receipt of the credit app [redacted] pulled [redacted] s creditWe sent the deal to one of our partners to review for approval once the customer decided what type of equipment that he wantedPersonal credit was not discussed between [redacted] and [redacted] throughout any of the calls that they had until she received a decline from underwriting [redacted] informed [redacted] that if he obtained an additional personal guarantor, that had a better credit score, we might be able to a look at the deal again and see if there is anything that we can do for him We apologize for any confusion and we are still willing to review the transaction for approval with the additional personal guarantor discussed if they are still interested in the truck Thank you National Funding

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowTheir statement is a lieThey told me my short time in business, (6months), was a dis-qualifier, in addition to our revenue so basically they are saying the only thing they (pre qualified ) me on is that I own a businessWhat kind of Pre Qualified schedule is this? And I want nothing from them I wouldn't take their money if they offered it They are engaging in advertising and lying to potential customers They need to rewrite their adds to contain only honest information, like, We would like the opportunity to SEE if you qualify Regards, [redacted] ***
