These guys are a joke
This is the second time I've responded to a mailer and allowed these guys (in the Ohio office) to pull my credit and then they just didn't call back. The first time I was eventually contacted by a manager and assured that it was a fluke, but our local broker got us a better rate so we didn't refinance with them. The second time, a guy pulled my credit while I was on the phone with him and promised a call back within a few days - this was 6 weeks ago. I'm not chasing anyone down to give them my business. Wouldn't trust them with anything if they can't even call when they say they will.

Filed a complaint with the Feds
Nations Lending is out of compliance in regards to our “approved” loan, which they then fired the branch manager in Santa Rosa, CA and then decided to arbitrarily deny our loan yet a month later still hasn’t sent out a denial letter nor will release the file & appraisal which would allow us to go to a more reputable firm.

Please file complaints with the Federal Regulators - it gets them in big trouble

Mortgage joke
Received a pre approval letter November 2020, called & spoke with Tracy she gave me a list of documents needed to proceed, given close date late Feb 2021, provided all documents come February closing put off to March, then started working with Jennifer, said she was helping Tracy, I received a total of 6 to 8 different Docu sign though out this process Jen was asking for the same documents given to Tracy, asked both of them through text or email of course because they will not call you ever, to please communicate with each other to prevent me from resending same documents, then closing in March moved to April & every time I checked my email there would be request for so much paperwork even after I was suppose to be out of underwriting things that makes no sense, in the mean time I receive notice that they contacted my insurance company & changed my mortgage carrier to NLC without my knowledge or consent, every Docu sign the cash to close kept going up and points purchased but every time I would leave multiple messages to call me or explain they never would
Jen said on 4/27 that the reason for cash to close increase was they forgot to add flood into escrow, ok but that means closing documents would be wrong because you still haven’t added it to the escrow or changed amount of monthly payments , too many flags that caused me to realize these people really don’t know what they are doing at all & if anyone out there have problems with this company there is a federal office that regulates mortgage companies it’s the FDIC Consumer

Outstanding rates and customer service
It was worth the wait. Underwriters are overwhelmed reviewing loans. My lender Katie Stottberry was outstanding. I can't speak highly enough of her and her communication Always reaching out via email or phone calls. Killer rate of 2.5% lower payment than prior. I couldn't be more pleased and elated!

Hurt my credit
I got a call from these people about a refi mortgage. I didn't want to do it at the time. Several months later, I get a letter from them saying they have denied my request. The letter is the standard credit denial, termination or change form. The point is that I have great credit (over 800). Why did this company even run my credit? I did not ask them for a loan.

We put our trust in the staff of NLC to help purchase our new home at first every thing appeared to be going greatOur loan advisor was Fred C [redacted] and Jason C***After receiving our pre approval letter we found our homeWe told Fred that the seller wanted a 2/22/closing dateEarly in February MrC [redacted] informed us that they would be able to make this dateWe were very understanding with that because he explained they needed a few more documentsSo NLC not us not the seller set a new close date for 2//26/So as it got closer to that day communication almost came to a cease with us and the sellerWe had to move out our home and put our household goods in storage and move into a hotel because we was expecting the February close dateWe informed both Fred and Jason of this and it never end appeared to be a since of urgency on their end. When ever they asked for documents they received them within the hourThere was never a delay on our end.All we expected as former military vet was to be treated fairly and with dignity, we were notI will be most definitely be contacting Ft[redacted] to let them know that this company should be banded from future use to current soldiersThese delays has cost our family in upwards of $2,

Went to Nations Lending to see about getting financing to buy a house Things progressed until it looked like the closing date was in sight The loan officer ordered the survey of the property only to find after it was completed, that we did not qualify for the loan The title company will not release the earnest money we had put on the house because the surveyor's bill has not been paid The lender should have made sure the loan would go through before ordering the survey We were not told it was ordered, or that it had been done We did not receive a bill for it, nor did we ever see the results of the survey

The mental anguish I have been put through from dealing with this company has made it a health issue along with the fact that my disabled veteran husband fell feet off a ladder while trying to satisfy the [redacted] home improvements this company required of us in order to be eligible for a home improvement loanAfter being subjected to multiple processes faxing every kind of documents imaginable loan agents misquoted appraisal fees extending our credit to the limit complying with every request and signing of completed closing documents the day before the closing date we got a call from the agent saying we could not get a loan because we had not been on the land title for a yearAlthough we have lived on our property for better than yearsI see this as elder exploitation and will make my case to any and all authorities I can

On June 16th, 2017, I entered into the process of refinancing my mortgage with Nations Lending Corporation This would be a 'VA' loan I was told that the process should be easily concluded before the end of July I was told that they finance their own loans and do not sell the loans I was told that after months of paying on the loan, the loan would then be monitored over the next years and if the interest rates dropped, I would be given the new lower rate with no additional fees, etc - this would be done as often as the rate dropped within the years, and would not go up As the process continued, there were the requests for documents, etc, which I complied with immediately each time A VA appraisal was arranged and performed, which I received a copy of dated 07/06/ There were other things asked for which we also complied with, but now it was dragging out to J 07/19/ The rate had been 'locked' in June, with the expectation of closing in July Now, at the

The Senior Loan Processor was insistent that I have homeowner's insurance to cover the cost of the mortgage (as opposed to the cost t replace/repair the dwelling) which defies the reason for homeowners insurance and is illegal in the state of CAWhen advised, she would only tell me what her investors required (as if I am not an investor?) I cited the law with references to which were ignored I was told that they could not "accommodate" me which is a bizarre way to say that you are going to ignore compliance with the law Eventually, her corporate office agreed with my position Senior Loan Processor operated in bad faith with me as a lender by telling that I had to be overinsured on the home to cover the loan Due to the constant haggling over minutiae, I lost confidence with NLC and sent, in writing, correspondence telling them to cease all inquiries and correspondence on my half with the seller regarding the purchase of the home That request was fully ignored as they hav

Trued to collect a debt from a bank rubtcy Also mi represent the process Was not told of a foundation inspection needed prior to contract Was told I qualified for more money then estimate Was told no out of pocket expenses except for the appraisal Was told that I had to have an appraisal at least And that loan was all good to go was told not to make any payments to credit established as a result I had to pay out because of late payments They had foundation inspection set three days before the scheduled close day Told me that if I went with there company they could add to the loan a few more dollars and then it would go through and I would not have to get another inspection and report
