If you like being lied to, having your credit pulled times, told to sell your current home and then weeks later have your loan denied, working with incompetent people and general aggravation...Nations Lendiing is for youWorst experience I've ever had especially the customer service from the corporate officeI was told to sell my home because I was all approved and ready to close on my new home, then was dragged along for weeks and had multiple extensions on my closing dateLong story short...at the end of the process I was homeless and my credit score was ruinedKeep up the great work Nations Lending, Lesson learned the hard wayGreat way to treat a veteran

Sent all personal info (financial, work, etc..) to them, Jesse W*** financial officerThey said no problem will contact you later with int rate etc months later and several emails to him/them and it appears they have fallen off the face of the earthDon't make me warm and fuzzy knowing they got all my info in whomevers hands and I'm out a refi that was so promising

We put our trust in the staff of NLC to help purchase our new home at first every thing appeared to be going greatOur loan advisor was Fred C*** and Jason C***After receiving our pre approval letter we found our homeWe told Fred that the seller wanted a 2/22/closing dateEarly in February MrC*** informed us that they would be able to make this dateWe were very understanding with that because he explained they needed a few more documentsSo NLC not us not the seller set a new close date for 2//26/So as it got closer to that day communication almost came to a cease with us and the sellerWe had to move out our home and put our household goods in storage and move into a hotel because we was expecting the February close dateWe informed both Fred and Jason of this and it never end appeared to be a since of urgency on their end. When ever they asked for documents they received them within the hourThere was never a delay on our end.All we expected as former military vet was to be treated fairly and with dignity, we were notI will be most definitely be contacting Ft.*** to let them know that this company should be banded from future use to current soldiersThese delays has cost our family in upwards of $2,

Was told at the beginning of refinance process that it would cost $450-for appraisal fee and Ithat he would refund my money, that in order to be in compliance with the company he has to pay it on my mastercardHe picked the appraisal company alsoNext thing I know my account was charged $When I called him to ask about the amount he stated that Arkansas is higher to get an appraisal inThe appraisal guy Charlie only spent mins at my house without looking at any appliances or my air unit insideWhen I ask John if I should make my house payment with my current mortgage company he said noAfter the deadline of my payment with my current mortgage company I emailed John about receiving my refund so I can make my paymentHe immediately called me, he stated because he is adding $in my loan to help pay off my land (which I didn't want to do but I was told I had to include my land) that he could refund 2%I told him just to take the $out and I will pay off my land, a

On June 16th, 2017, I entered into the process of refinancing my mortgage with Nations Lending Corporation This would be a 'VA' loan I was told that the process should be easily concluded before the end of July I was told that they finance their own loans and do not sell the loans I was told that after months of paying on the loan, the loan would then be monitored over the next years and if the interest rates dropped, I would be given the new lower rate with no additional fees, etc - this would be done as often as the rate dropped within the years, and would not go up
As the process continued, there were the requests for documents, etc, which I complied with immediately each time A VA appraisal was arranged and performed, which I received a copy of dated 07/06/ There were other things asked for which we also complied with, but now it was dragging out to J 07/19/ The rate had been 'locked' in June, with the expectation of closing in July Now, at the

We were told our new manufactured home was approved for a mortgage loan We went through the entire process with James F*, who was very nice and friendly, and were told our file was complete and we were good for the loan The process included a notary service, and the appraisal fee of $to *** *** The Association purchased the park in The residents purchased the park in When we purchased the place, it included the price for our property parcel plus the home We pay $3,in property taxes a year for the land If we sold, the purchaser would pay us for our land plus the home So, after all was said and done, Zack W*** of National Lending Corporation, took over from James F*, and said they could not loan to us after all because our park was Association owned and a coop If this is what they thought, and I proved to him differently via phone with our parcel #, etc., why didn't they look into this before our completing the process and be

We applied for a refi loan with nations Lending Corporation after we spoke with them about our credit scoreThey assured me that they would be able to refinance our homeThey said the home appraisal would be $and asked for a credit cardI could only pay at the timeThe appraisal employee came to my home early and terrified my childrenMy wife came home and saw a man sitting in his truckHe got out and my wife told home he scared my kids to which he replied, sorryThey went into the home, the appraiser took several pictures, but only measured the garage and loft of the homeWhen I spoke to my Loan officer Alan L*** about our refinance, he said it would go through if we made a payment to our mortgage company before the 31st of March, we did that, then it came back that we were deniedMy wife has all of the emails to support this claimWe would like to have our $returned to us as this seems to be a scamNo contact has been made to us since my wife mentione

I spoke to one of their lenders several times and sent over all of my husband's personal information I told her several times not to run his credit1st not until we found a house and 2nd not until she was sure that based off our tax returns they could lend to usShe assured me several times that based off our tax returns that they could in fact lend to us as long as my husband's credit was goodI told her that his credit was excellentShe ran his credit, after telling me she had already looked at our tax returns and said they were okay to use but in all realityShe hadn't looked at our tax returns She then called after she ran his credit and said that based off our tax returns they couldn't lend to usSo not only were we lied to, but my husband's credit dropped a couple points because it was ran for nothing, and we lost out on a house that we really wantedWe have the down payment sitting in the bank and the income to pay the mortgage, with a high 700s credit scoreThe next time we need a lender, we will NOT use nationsYou can't build a professional relationship with a client after you made a promise you couldn't keep because you didn't do your work properly

My experience at this business was horrible, and was over a month process just to get a fha loansThier communication are below poor, we were at the closing point over timesAt every closing date the would then request more information that was already given and up the closing cost every time and have some reason why it jump and I'm taking about a everytimeNow money ain't the problem it's the fact that when they tell you it's one thing then it changes and they can never actually tell you for sure when your going to close and what is due from you at closingMaybe it is just me but I can not hit a moving target when it comes to money I have to save it upOn top of all this they had fried the frist lender I was dealing with and there supposed branch manager Jason C*** had taken over on itYou would think it got better form there, wrong even worse and they act like it's a process to let you wait tI'll the closing date to change everything on it Worse experience for a frist time home buy like me or any oneI take that back I'm not a frist time home buyer cause I walked away from it, if this is what buying a home is like then I do not want itSo please don't be fooled by there slogan or there review page it's all lies, only thing they are to stars on is **

Nations Lending loan servicing is terribleThey have a unique way to calculate escrow that no other loan servicing companies useTheir method creates huge payment increases to their customers, which in turn create huge overages in the escrow account , which will just sit in the escrow account for a year!
Their method is collecting months of additional of escrow, instead of the legal maximum of monthsTheir service reps don't even know how to use a calculatorTHEY WILL NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS, EVEN AFTER PROMISING TO DO SOI FOUND A WEBSITE WITH DOZENS OF SIMILAR ESCROW COMPLAINTS!!!

This is a terrible mortgage company to do business with You will have to call them for everything! When you submit paperwork, they will not let you know if the paperwork has been received or not They do not keep up with you through any stage of the process If you have problems, you have to constantly keep calling them to get an answer You are bounced around from one person to another who claims they will fix the problem However, they do not They just "pass the buck" on to the next person I would highly recommend looking somewhere else for a mortgage This business is very unprofessional

The Senior Loan Processor was insistent that I have homeowner's insurance to cover the cost of the mortgage (as opposed to the cost t replace/repair the dwelling) which defies the reason for homeowners insurance and is illegal in the state of CAWhen advised, she would only tell me what her investors required (as if I am not an investor?) I cited the law with references to which were ignored I was told that they could not "accommodate" me which is a bizarre way to say that you are going to ignore compliance with the law Eventually, her corporate office agreed with my position Senior Loan Processor operated in bad faith with me as a lender by telling that I had to be overinsured on the home to cover the loan
Due to the constant haggling over minutiae, I lost confidence with NLC and sent, in writing, correspondence telling them to cease all inquiries and correspondence on my half with the seller regarding the purchase of the home That request was fully ignored as they hav

After reading all the reviews here I just had to leave my own after such a great experience We purchased our first home and our loan officer explained everything from teaching us how to improve our scores to the differences between FHA and conventional loansWe had no idea which program would be better for our family and the decision was clear once we learnedI can say we will be using them again if we ever purchase another home and will definitely be referring them to anyone we know

We were supposed to close on May 20th and the mortgage banker had assured me every step of the way that we would close on timeRegardless of what the reasons and excuses were, we had completed everything on our side in a timely and orderly fashionIt was however, the mortgage banker's responsibility to make sure everything on his end would go through, as well as plan for contingencies as this is part of his job responsibility
In addition to the failure to close on time, I was also assured several times by the mortgage banker's supervisor that we would close on May 20th which then changed to May 25thSubsequently we were not able to get possession of the house due to the title company that Nations Lending chose, which could not get everything completed on timeAnd to add more insult to injury, closing was scheduled at 1pm and the mortgage banker did not inform me that the title company on our side was rescheduling at 3pm, which then delayed taking possession of the home to

back, november of I contacted Charles *** and gloria *** of nations lending corporation about getting a loan to cash some of my equity out of the house I had just builtafter more than a month of talks and emails I was guaranteed that my loan was approved and all I needed to do was pay for a appraisal on my homeon november I payed $to have my home appraisedaround december 17th I was informed that the underwriters would not sign off on the loanmr Charles *** told me at the time I needed to wait until march to reapply for my loan, and that he would give me credit for the $that I had already paid for the appraisali have called every day, several times a day ( march 1, 2, 3) and left messages to have either mr *** or ms *** to call me back and they have ignored menow I will be out another appraisal fee because other companies demand their own appraisal

We have never dealt with a more unprofessional business in our lives! We own our home free and clearWe were contacted by them after submitting a request on lending treeI told the loan officer that we wanted to take out a home equity loan so we can pay cash on another home to "flip" I was told that this would not be a problem and the process would only take about a week to days GreatOr so I thought The appraisal company was very inexperienced as he had to call me AFTER he did the appraisal, to see if we had a front porch, deck and pool When the appraisal came back, it was extremely low At this point, we were willing to just take whatever we could get out of the house, and come up with the rest through private partnersAfter I submitted all the paperwork they requested, I could not get an answer on the closing Keeping in mind, we were taking the loan for a cash out flip, the loan officer gave me advice on how to deal with the realtor and how to submit the offerSo she knew from the beginning, that this was for another homeIt would go several days before I had to call and check on when we would be closing I was assured that we would close very soon Stated that the paperwork was sent to the underwriter, and would close in a week months later, and many requests for unnecessary paperwork, we still don't have a loan They came up with every excuse to keep delaying the loanThey wanted more paperwork that we already sent to them, they wanted copies of our retirement, they even had the nerve to ask for our account number and password for our retirement account! Who, in there right mind, who has never met these people and are getting the feeling they are not legit, would give them such private information?! That was the turning point for us I would daily email and ask when we were closing and would always get a runaround vague answerThen, at the last minute, when they couldn't come up with more excuses to delay, they wanted all the information on the flip house we were investing in This was a home equity loan on our house that was owned by us free and clearWhat we do with that money is our businessThey knew from the start what we were using the money for, so why were they acting like this is a problem months after we started the loan process? I was given a bunch of lame excuses on what we do with our money has a direct impact on themThen, after going through all that, they said that they couldn't give us the loanWhy? Because of some lame excuse that we might use the "flip" house to live in?!?! They tried lying about when they found out about the "flip" house and other documents The manager even said that they only found out about the house that day and insinuated we didn't disclose the information previouslyI told him that wasn't true and that the loan officer knew from the very first day Of course more vague answers from him I have all the emails to document to show how cooperative we were and how they had us jumping through hoops with unnecessary paperworkThen, when we were told using the money for a "flip" house might not be possible, I told him we were just going to use it for personal use Then he started threatening me about what the real use was for and that I could go to jail for lying to himHe knew I was saying that so we could just finish out the loan and go our separate waysBut then he made a whole big issue about the use of the moneyI stated, again, what we do with the money is our business
To sum it up, I don't think they even have the money to lend I think they start the process and then realize they don't have the cash backing them up to loan, so they stall for as long as possible until they can find an excuse to say no or the client says forget itStay away from this company or you will be pulling your hair out trying to deal with themThey will tell you everything you want to hear and then twist everything around to stall the loan
