We put our trust in the staff of NLC to help purchase our new home at first every thing appeared to be going great. Our loan advisor was Fred C [redacted] and Jason C***. After receiving our pre approval letter we found our home. We told Fred that the seller wanted a 2/22/2016 closing date. Early in February Mr. C [redacted] informed us that they would be able to make this date. We were very understanding with that because he explained they needed a few more documents. So NLC not us not the seller set a new close date for 2//26/2016. So as it got closer to that day communication almost came to a cease with us and the seller. We had to move out our home and put our household goods in storage and move into a hotel because we was expecting the 26 February close date. We informed both Fred and Jason of this and it never end appeared to be a since of urgency on their end. When ever they asked for documents they received them within the hour. There was never a delay on our end.All we expected as former military vet was to be treated fairly and with dignity, we were not. I will be most definitely be contacting Ft. [redacted] to let them know that this company should be banded from future use to current soldiers. These delays has cost our family in upwards of $2,100.

I spoke to one of their lenders several times and sent over all of my husband's personal information I told her several times not to run his credit1st not until we found a house and 2nd not until she was sure that based off our tax returns they could lend to usShe assured me several times that based off our tax returns that they could in fact lend to us as long as my husband's credit was goodI told her that his credit was excellentShe ran his credit, after telling me she had already looked at our tax returns and said they were okay to use but in all realityShe hadn't looked at our tax returns She then called after she ran his credit and said that based off our tax returns they couldn't lend to usSo not only were we lied to, but my husband's credit dropped a couple points because it was ran for nothing, and we lost out on a house that we really wantedWe have the down payment sitting in the bank and the income to pay the mortgage, with a high 700s credit scoreThe next time we need a lender, we will NOT use nationsYou can't build a professional relationship with a client after you made a promise you couldn't keep because you didn't do your work properly

I initially took out a mortgage with NLC Loans in September of The mortgage covers parcels One lot that the house is on and a separate lot that is vacant I recently refinanced my mortgage with NLC Loans I was dealing with Michael F [redacted] All of our taxes are escrowed into the mortgage At the time I was refinancing the school taxes were due I informed Michael F [redacted] of this and I was instructed to send him the bills for the taxes Michael F [redacted] stated the taxes would be paid at closing One of the bills was paid however the second bill was not I have been emailing and calling the company since September to get this bill paid Michael F [redacted] kept telling me it would be taken care of however I received a deliquency notice in the mail this week stating it has still not been paid My wife has been calling and no one will respond to this matter Each month money is placed into our escrow account to cover the taxes I pay my mortgage on time every month and

In years and after many refinances, I will say that I have never had a worse experience in trying to deal with anyoneThe refinance process took well over monthsAfter the initial contact we went through endless changes and the lack of response from them was horriblei would go days and sometimes weeks to get an email or call backAt the end a few days before closing they jacked up the points and closing costs beyond beliefNow I am currently waiting for them to correct a check that was sent to me to pay off debts from the cash out I tookThe check was made out to the wrong Company and after I had an answer to an email I have not seen a new check or heard anything for over a week

I hope EVERYONE reads this before starting a loan process with this company! This has been the worst most dreadful experience I have ever hadLong story short, we are first time home buyers trying to purchase a mobile home on a piece of land in CaliforniaSo the loan options are a little scarcewe went through a ton of lenders that either said they could do it and then realized it was a no-go, or flat out just laughed in our faceI found nations lending online, I was just googling mobile home lendersI called and was put in touch with a lender from Ohio named Matt FergusonHe started out extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile, was eager to do anything to make us get this home for a reasonable priceHe even talked to us till late hours on a Friday night (he is hours ahead) to get some information to start the loan processA few weeks into the process is when things started to make a change for the worstHis transparency and communication became minute and it was a battle to get a hold of him or get any information out of himWe would have major questions about our loan and what the next step would be, then once we finally got Matt on the phone he would dance around the questions and answer with fluffed BS and we would get off the phone still extremely confusedThe answer was always "we are still on track to close"It got to the point where we had to contact his manager Mike smithWe told him our concerns and how we don't like being in the dark about our loan and he said he would step in to take over and help us finish out the loanSame problem happened with himNo returned phone calls, no replies to emailsFinally I got so upset that I contacted their corporate office to send out an email to Matt, Mike, their manager Kyle and anyone higher up the chain so that someone was aware that i'm upset and being disregardedCorporate was extremely friendly and helpful, but the email didn't do muchThis group of lenders have blatantly lied to us about money amounts, timelines that never happened on time AND then tried to forced us to use the title company that they wanted to go withAt some point Matt threatened us, stating "either we use our title company or you can walk away from this"Their favorite game to play is to give you the minimalist information all throughout the week and then drop a bomb on you Friday afternoon so there is not much you can really do about it except waitNot to mention, they offer you this totally amazing reasonable loan amount and then change it to a way higher price at the last minute when it comes down to the last days to signIts a tactic to make you panic and agreeI am fully aware that I am not the only client they have to deal with, but it takes two minutes to shoot me a quick email updating me on what is going on and keep me posted for whats to be expectedThis entire process has been a nightmare and I wouldn't recommend this lending company to my worst enemy

Purchasing your first home should be a happy time in ones life...not with this companyThis has been the worst experience of my lifeThese people are completely incompetentThey flat out lie, give information, refuse to let you speak with any member of managementThey are horribleWe had to extend our closingThen when it came time to close (2nd time) they weren't ready againWe ended up having to rent the property because we would've been homelessWe were assured that we would be closing on the set dateWe then arranged to have all utilities shut off, our house was rentedNo where to goNow...it is less than hours before the third closing date and they still have sent nothing to the closing attorneyThey were actually confused about a large withdrawal from my bank account!!! Hello???? That was for the down payment!!! Stay far away from this companyThey care nothing about their clients or their job

In my opinion, Nations Lending Corporation is the most dishonest, unscrupulous, manipulative, and corrupt company I've ever dealt withThey promised me things they knew they couldn't deliver just to get me to close the loanThey took exceedingly longer than they assured me it would take to close the loan, and at the last minute at the closing table, I didn't get back the money they quoted in the documentsThe applied most of my down payment money for closing cost, which left me with a larger loanI should have walked away from the closing table, but Nations Lending put us in such a bind, I really had no choice but to go through with itI WOULD NOT REFER A DOG TO NATIONS LENDING!

I planned to purchase a row house at Philly and one of the realtors I contacted with referred NLC to me since I am an international student and my *** is F1, most conventional bank may not consider my mortgage requestI contacted with NLC mortgage advisor at Philly office for my mortgage request and he said NLC could work with me in my Fstudent situationThen I sent my ***, passport, bank statement etcto them for the pre-approvalThe company offered me with pre-approval letter in mid of March for my purchaseWith this pre-approval letter, I flew to Philly to find a house for purchase and I signed one contract with a seller to settle down my purchaseI double checked with the mortgage advisor about my mortgage and my realtor also worked with him on further processAfter all the inspection and appraisal completed, I asked NLC to provide me the mortgage commitment letterThen, the problem emerged- days after the initial commitment date, NLC did not offer me the letter and

I entered into a loan contract with NLC towards mid April I am currently active Coast Guard and returning home to the Cleveland, OH area due to me being medically retired from the Coast GuardThe first documents I gave, Sashin P***, loan officer there at NLC; were my Medical Board findings and disposition to prove my retirement & disabilityI also provided documentation that clearly breaks down all of my pension and disability payments to be received We signed the contract/application and were given a closing date of MAY May came and went and not one person contacted us to let us know that NLC could not close on MAYIt wasn't until after MAY that I actually started to (continuously) hear from Sashin P***Prior to that I had spoken with him regarding documents that he needed & I was very prompt on sending all documents on timeOne of the first 'serious' questions MrP*** asked me about my pension was; "How long is your pension for? The mental anguish I have been put through from dealing with this company has made it a health issue along with the fact that my disabled veteran husband fell feet off a ladder while trying to satisfy the *** home improvements this company required of us in order to be eligible for a home improvement loanAfter being subjected to multiple processes faxing every kind of documents imaginable loan agents misquoted appraisal fees extending our credit to the limit complying with every request and signing of completed closing documents the day before the closing date we got a call from the agent saying we could not get a loan because we had not been on the land title for a yearAlthough we have lived on our property for better than yearsI see this as elder exploitation and will make my case to any and all authorities I can

You should really read the reviews and stick to your gut instinctI wish I hadThis all begun with my initial phone call stating that I have a "Manufactured Home on Leased Property"After agents later, a termite bond, an appraisal, and credit report the company stated that "were sorry but we do not do Manufactured homes on leased property"They took all the information from me at my personal residence and was aware of it at the time of filingThe appraiser was awareThe inspector was aware. They were all made aware multiple timesOUt all the money and still no loanLoan Manager FC would not return my email or phone calls.I would say go somewhere else or DO Without

The Carrollton, TX Branch of Nations Lending was fast and responsive even after another lender told us noMy realtor had suggested I give them a shot after one of her associates used them on her personal home loanLeonard U***, Heather R*** and Hiedi A*** took us from renters to home owners in less than daysI would recommend them to anyone who needs their hand held through the purchase processI'm so excited to be a home ownerLove these guys!

We were told our new manufactured home was approved for a mortgage loan We went through the entire process with James F*, who was very nice and friendly, and were told our file was complete and we were good for the loan The process included a notary service, and the appraisal fee of $to *** *** The Association purchased the park in The residents purchased the park in When we purchased the place, it included the price for our property parcel plus the home We pay $3,in property taxes a year for the land If we sold, the purchaser would pay us for our land plus the home So, after all was said and done, Zack W*** of National Lending Corporation, took over from James F*, and said they could not loan to us after all because our park was Association owned and a coop If this is what they thought, and I proved to him differently via phone with our parcel #, etc., why didn't they look into this before our completing the process and be

NLC did an amazing job with both my initial VA loan and the refinance I am now completingThey were always available and up front and honestThey were on top of all paperwork and timing, even more so than local banksMy realtor now recommends the broker I had to her clients instead of the local guys They are phenominal to work with
