We have investigated [redacted] complaint regarding the denial of his rebates. [redacted] purchased his products from a [redacted] location in [redacted], which was eligible for the advertised rebates. The credit card used to pay the purchase has an address in [redacted]...

[redacted] locations in [redacted] were not eligible for the subject rebates. Unfortunately, when [redacted] rebates were being reviewed, the [redacted] address showed as the location of the products, which would have made the purchases ineligible. Upon review of the rebate submission, we have paid these rebates. In addition, the $50 rebates has been upgraded to a 10% kitchen suit rebate - increasing [redacted] rebate. The issuance of the Prepaid [redacted] for the rebates was put into motion on December 12. [redacted] should receive the Prepaid [redacted] within the next 3-4 weeks.

Our contact*Susan reached out to [redacted] on December 14. At the time she left a voicemail with her name, direct contact number, as well as our main rebates line. While I understand [redacted] concern, Susan will continue to work this until resolution. We invite [redacted] to call Susan directly with any concerns regarding this claim until it has reached that resolution.

We appreciate [redacted] rejecting our initial response. We have since been in touch and have received the updated documentation showing correct dates. We are working this claim to approval and payment.

One of our managers is reaching out to [redacted] with an attempt to solve the issue. 2 voicemails were left last week and we are awaiting his return call at this time

[redacted] claim has been re-entered to ensure our system recognizes the model numbers and generates the rebate correctly at $200. This new claim has been approved and is just proceeding through the final payment processing now. We will reach out to [redacted] to discuss the claim.

The prepaid rewards card issued for this rebate has expired, and was unable to be reissued. We had escalated this to our card holder services who have confirmed a re-issue was able to be completed. As per the terms and conditions of card holder services, the following fees have been deducted from...

[redacted] card: $7.50 re-issue fee and a $17.70 maintenance fee. [redacted] card has been re-issued in the amount of $174.80 and can be expected within the mail in 7 to 10 business days.

I purchased new appliances in April of this year (2017) and immediately submitted my NECO Alliance rebate form, to obtain my $200 rebate. It has been 6-months and I still haven't received my rebate. I've gone on to the NECO Alliance website, multiple times, to "check the status" of my rebate and it always tells me that my "rebate has been approved for payment" and "please allow 3-4 weeks to receive your rebate". Maybe we should start a class action lawsuit!

JoeK,
I would like to join or help start a class action lawsuit with you if you have not already started one. My experience was different but the result is the same, not what we were offered and instructed by our sales agent. I believe with all the obstacles in place to hinder a person trying to obtain their offered rebate it has to benefit the company more often then the customer. My email is [email protected]

I purchased a whirlpool washer and dryer and two pedastools in May. I am still waiting for my rebates-
1)- $100
2)- $250
I have checked on both and this is what I get:
"Your rebate review has been completed.
The next step is to schedule your rebate for payment approval. We will notify you when the payment schedule is complete."
Same message for weeks now.
This process should not take this long.
Where are my rebates?

I received a $400 reward card that that looked like a Visa gift credit card, and didn't realize it had expired 2 months prior when I tried using it (initially I thought I will save that amount, not have to find a large purchase to get my money back...) so I called customer service and they told me I can only reissue card online even though I don't have regular internet access at home, they didn't mention anything about reissuing also having expiration date.
I am now trying so hard to get my money back. If it would be only $
25-$50 I would have let it go, but this is too much money I had counted on:(
Any ideas?

I, too, received a $350 visa debit card for my rebate. I had no idea it had an expiration date and went to use it last week. It had expired in November 2017! I went to the web site and no where could I find how to reinstate the card. I called the 800 number (all automated) and was completely cut off when I was to be transferred to speak to a representative. Somewhere on the site I saw where it was mentioned to reinstate an expired card for $10.00 but there was nowhere to click on it nor were there any instructions! Did you ever get any restitution for yours? I will try again to call.

I agree these people are not sending out rebates. They keep telling you oh usps must have lost it and we will send out again and expect in 3 weeks. This happened 4 times ! I even suggested they track it and deduct the cost of tracking out of the 50$ refund. Answer: nope. They stuck by the story that it was usps fault... I get tons of mail, I doubt they lost neco's letter 4 times. Infuriated

We have received the supporting document you recently faxed, emailed or attached online for your Neco Alliance rebate claim number.

You may check the status of your claim by visiting the website at www.necorebates.com and clicking on “Check on my Claim” button, enter your email address and one of the following;

Claim number, Zip or Phone number. I received this email for one product I am waiting on a rebate for on 11-28-16 and am still waiting it is 4-15-17. I also have another item I am waiting on a rebate for that I received confirmation of documentation received on 12-30-16. The total owed by this sorry company is $250. I sent an email with no response and if I call I am sure there will be some sort of lie of why they have not sent the rebates to me. This is basically stealing in my opinion. I am going to post reviews of this scamming company all over social media and the net so other people do not get burned like I did. I am also going to notify Consumer Affairs and Revdex.com. If I knew I would not be getting a rebate I would have bought my appliances locally.

I completely agree with you. I too fell victim to their fraudulent practice of sending out an email promising the arrival of a rebat e that never materialized. My purchase was on 11/30/2016. If you'd be so kind, please share with me the number or email address for Consumer Affairs and the appropriate local Revdex.com (I can't tell where Neco is located). My purchase was through Appliances Connection which I think is great, but I've notified them about Neco's deceptive practices and how it sullies their name because they advertise the rebate.

DECEPTIVE and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Rewards are issued on debits cards with a short expiration date. It's deceptive to offer "rebates" and then issue a debit card. Essentially you're not getting any money, you're being forced to spend more with a debit card.I called customer service - asked for a manager and left messages - no returned calls.

Review: I purchased a 5 year extended warranty via [redacted] in [redacted] from NECO Alliance in 2011 for an air conditioner. On 5/28/14 when my air conditioner didn't give cold air I called NECO and they tell me that I am not in their system and my purchased extended warranty is not any good; they will not honor it. I went to [redacted] on [redacted] where I purchased the air conditioner and warranty. They told me NECO was going to honor it but then declined saying they were not. I purchased it for an additional $69.00 and now when I need it both NENCO and [redacted] are saying I'm out of luck, it's not being honored. Please help me.Desired Settlement: I would like my air conditioner fixed, either repaired or replaced as to the agreement when I purchased the extended 5 year warranty. I just want my air conditioner to work and cool the room it's in like it's supposed to.

Review: Last July 7th, I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher and LG refrigerator from [redacted] in Wilmington DE. Rebate information was submitted to NECO Alliance for both products by the due date of August 7. A request for further info was sent by NECO for the fridge on August 8, 2014. The rebate for the LG came, but nothing came for the Whirlpool. Their information said it could take until November. I waited until then, and contacted them around thanksgiving. They said to send the forms and info again. On 2/11/15 I received an e-mail stating this: Thank you for participating in the WHIRLPOOL JUNE 12 - JULY 7, 2014 DELIVERY & INSTALLATION ALLOWANCE NECO ALLIANCE VISA REWARD CARD promotion.Your request for a rebate has been received.Unfortunately your rebate was rejected due to the following reason(s): -RECEIVED PAST POSTMARK [redacted] DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS [redacted] This email has been generated by an automated service machine. Emails sent to this address WILL NOT be responded to.Tracking #[redacted]If it was past the submission date, why did they say to resubmit it? And what happened to the original submission that was sent on time? Why is it that the customer always has to pay for the mistakes of shoddy businesses, and why are businesses allowed to continue with these rebate scams?Desired Settlement: I want my 50 dollar rebate plus compensation for the time lost and frustration accumulated for having to play this rotten rebate game.
