Poor customer service
Don’t buy anything from Niantic.
They won’t refund you and keep sending you robotic emails after they don’t want to work and value our opinion.

My friends and I used to live their games. However everything changed in a matter of minutes. They have the worst customer support that I have ever seen. I would rate them a zero but I can't, so I rate them a one instead.
Very rude and not customer friendly., Very dishonest and takes away the Niantic vision!
Niantic customer support didn't care about my concern nor tried to help me. A bunch of my friends and I stopped using a bunch of Niantic apps and games. They lost four customers. They lost for loyal people who just want to have fun and be ourselves.
Well I'm off to spread the bad news.

I had purchased in application credits for $On 8/24'16, I made a single item purchase using some of those credits., However, when I submitted the purchase by pressing once, the software bug/glitched and made dozens of purchases of the same item automaticallyI left them in the inventory for months so they could credit me back the 60$ USD that the app spent by itselfFurthermore, I ended up spending another $because 60$ was used up by the bug/glitch11/- months later, Client services responded with an automatically e-mail, that I would need to RE-SUBMIT my month old ticket so that I can wait another months for probably another automated e-mail

I have been playing Niantic Incs Pokemon Go game on my mobile device for almost months nowI really enjoy the game so I had absolutely no problem spending money on the games in app purchasesTo date I have spent $Some players like myself are really into the game, each pokemon in the game has hidden statistic which can be calculated with the data in the gameThere were third party applications made that would input this data for you and give you the numbers you were looking for making it a much easier taskThere was no warning from Niantic Inc saying that we could not use these appsThere was also no contact between Niantic Labs and their player base to begin withNiantic Inc does not respond to anyone playing their gameNiantic decided without telling their players that they are going to ban and terminate players accounts for using these appsI had my account taken away from me without any warning or contact from NianticI have emailed them and sent in an appeal form

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The company has sent yet another copy and paste reply that completely ignores the reason behind my complaint and refund request The reply had nothing to do with my previous emails or this complaint other than saying no refunds It's insulting to receive these messages which ignore everything I have written and tell me that I can buy more stuff, as if for some reason I am going to spend more money on a game that has no reason for me to play it The responses I have received make me doubt that anyone there actually reads a word of what their customers type and instead just send one of a handful of canned replies based on keywords from the emailSincerely, [redacted]

This has got to be the worst company alive next to [redacted] and [redacted] They do not communicate with the customers or even interviewersThis was a really good idea but sadly the dumbest person was the one to put the game in actionWe the customers have been waiting to hear back from them and we still have NO REPLYThey don't even completely fix anything; they keep doing "updates" but still have the same glitches or we actually lose more features as the "updates" roll out

Niantic banned my ingress account with no email warning or prior noticeWhen I tried to appeal their ban they refused to reinstate my account and refused to provide me with a reason as to why they banned the accountThey provided a canned response with several cookie cutter reasons for a ban none of which I committedI informed them that I never violated TOS and they continued to close my ticket and ignore me

I had been playing a game called "Pokemon Go" which is created and managed by Niantic, about a week ago my account began to say "Failed to receive data from the server", I've attempted to contact Niantic regarding this issue, in hopes they could help me fix it, only to receive the same automated response which doesn't correct the issueI spent around $on the game in the form of coin purchases, which can be used in game to buy other items, due to failure of being able to log in, those coins are unusableDue to Niantic not responding to my support requests on their web-page, I am now out a good amount of money! These total amount of purchases was over a period of months, beginning July 9th

I am an avid player of the game published by Niantic title Pokemon GO, as are several friends of mine Lately in the area I play in ( [redacted] ***) there has been a large problem with GPS spoofing by players, which constitutes cheating and a violation of the Pokemon GO TOS This cheating is verifiable with both video and in game shots for proof It has also led to stalking and intimidation, both in real life and virtually This has, in turn, made the game no longer fun for any of us that have fallen victim to it, not to mention the wasted money several of us have spent on the game since the game does give the options of microtransactions Several reports have been made to Niantic, which I will list below, but they have done nothing In fact, the cheating has gotten worse The ticket numbers of the reports of cheating are as follows below Remember, not all of these tickets were filed by me, but several people, I have just compiled them to lodge the complaint [redacted]

The company released a game, Pokemon Go, with two forms of log in authentication: use a Google account or sign up for an account through the company (a PTC account)Every week the servers for PTC go down and prevent all users from accessing the contentThe servers for the Google log in options are rarely affectedI have an account using the PTC login, my wife has one using GoogleHer account has never been noticeably affectedMine stops working every weekCurrently, there is a 12+ hour outage for all PTC accounts worldwideThe company very quickly fixed all access for the Google account logins, but has done nothing to fix the PTC accountsThe company always waits until last to fix any PTC server issuesNumerous requests have been made to allow users to transfer their account access from the never serviced PTC login to the more stable Google login, but the company refuses to let anyone migrateThe company claims it is not possible for a migration to occurThis is a flat out l

I created an account for the game with my work emailA few months ago (~3) I messaged them asking if I could change my email address to another one since I wasn't planning to stay at my job for much longerI did not get a replyAbout two months later, I messages again stating that I would be quitting my job and requested that my account be transferred to another email address as the current one would be deactivatedI only got a default answerI replied to that email explaining my situation further but didn't get any answerNow I quit my job and do not have access to the gameI messaged them a third time and requested the account to be transferred, but they rejected meI then inquired about getting a refund for the money I spent on the game for items that I was unable to use due to being locked out and I was once again rejected

Niantic is not fair the number of [redacted] and gym in the world are not equalIf Niantic provide equal game experience, provide equal number of pokestops and gyms through out world and we will play as legit [redacted]
