I have a maintenance plan with Cyprus Air I have always received courteous treatment from the staff From scheduling the appointment to coordinating the arrival time of the technician, the staff was most helpfulToday Ed M., Technician, came and performed the yearly cheon my gas fireplace He was very courteous and respectful In addition, Ed protected my floors and carpet More importantly, he reviewed my fireplace performance with me and thoroughly cleaned the area I am very pleased with his work and the explanations he provided I highly recommend Cyprus, Inc.!

9/6/and also on 9/Our owner spoke with you on the day of the install, 9/5/at length about your concerns about the pricing and the holes that were cut in your ceiling by your contractor and even offered to stop the job right then and refund you the deposit you had put down but you had decided to keep the job moving forward.In response to the holes in your ceiling you did have your contractor come out and cut the holes for us but they were too small for the system you were getting in stalledThere were also studs in the way of the installation and also your system you had previously to the one we replaced was still in the ceiling so we had to remove old systems instead of the one that we replaced which we did and no extra charge.I would be happy to send out someone to repair the hole in your ceiling for you at no extra charge as a jester of good faith. I responded to a special they advertised in the local Express NewspaperMy expectation was to I convert from oil to a natural gas and install central air I set up an appointment and with one of their salesman, Markus M***He came to my home t measure and take picturesI received a quote for $We agreed on the terms and I secured funding with their partner Well Fargo to cover installations costs, labor, and equipmentPer Markus, this would be a "one day" jobI expressed concerns about such a quick conversion, but Markus assured me that team could do the job in one dayI received the quote on Saturday, June 4, I secured funding Monday, June Installation was scheduled for the Monday, June After not hearing anything from Markus M*** or any representative from Cyprus Air, I sent an email asking if we were still on for Monday, June installationMarkus calls me immediately explaining that Cyprus misquoted me by $AND that the job requires a THREE days installationRemember, I was quoted that the installation would only take one dayHe encouraged to speak with his manager, Tsengel for a better explanationI spoke with Tsengel and he explains that there was a software malfunction, which is why they cannot honor the original quoteI explained to Tsengel that it it not the customers problem that they have faulty softwareI also asked them to honor the original quoteHe outright refusedThese people have no integrity and will say anything to get your businessI am glad I learned this before actually installing my system

Marcellus, the technical did a very good job of servicing our gas fireplace Knowledgeable and very polite I'd ask for him again should I have problems in the future

We initially responded to this complaint on January 6, and offered the customer a year free maintenance and a refund of $for manufacturer shipping charges. (Part was under warranty and manufacturer replaced the part but shipping was charged to customer)Notes from February indicate we were issuing a check for $to customer. Spoke to customer today and she indicated she had not received the check. I spoke to the accounting department again today. They are looking into the matter and will issue a check as soon as possible
Again, I apologize for the delay. My entire email account and contact information was lost over a month ago and I did not receive this second notice.
