These people were totally and completely dishonest in there dealings with me.
Charged my credit card and never delivered the order. Eventually said the company was under new management and would not refund the money.
Completely dishonest.

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Olighting regarding complaint ID [redacted].  I did file a dispute with my credit card company about the charge of over $4000 that O lighting promised to refund but then refused to refund when I asked them to do so.  The...

credit card company has researched the case and has decided the dispute in my favor.  At the same time, Olighting (specifically Chris C[redacted], the apparent owner of the business) has been in touch with me threatening legal action, on what basis I have no idea.  He is a thief and he deserves to be put out of business.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: What they advertise to have they don't have, but immediately want to sell you something else. When I threared to complain the [redacted] said he would sue me if I did. I have the unprofessional email from him.Desired Settlement: For the company to sell me the product I wanted for the price they advertised.

Review: Olighting / oPad took our order, never fulfilled it, never told us they wouldn't ship, and refused to refund us the nearly $1000 they stole from us when we finally contacted them to inquire about the order they never planned to ship. They then led us on for months as so to a refund, until the period we could claim it back from our credit card had elapsed, leaving us with no options. And then they refused to refund us, claiming they were unable to process the refund. They basically stole $1000 from us and chose to blame their bank. As if it was hard to issue a refund for goods you do not deliver. Careful dealing with this company.Desired Settlement: Refund us what we paid you.

[redacted], [redacted], [redacted], ph: ###-###-#### [redacted], they also use the name Olighting are crooks! We ordered 4chairs in April 2015 from them and we're repeatedly told they would arrive in 4 to 6 weeks, they charged our [redacted] 2,700 dollars and never processed our order, master card through their consumer protection division gave them a certain period to respond/dispute and they never responded, never an apology or an email. What they do is wait for the credit card companies to pay for the transactions by adding credit back to the consumers credit card.. [redacted], [redacted] should be in jail and hopefully the law will catch up w them before they take advantage of other people. Their website should be shut down.

Review: I was directed to OLighting (OL) from [redacted] to order an expensive table lamp. I needed to cancel my order within an hour of pacing it, well before OL invested any effort in fulfilling & shipping my order. The OL website would not let me cancel my order, but did not explain why. The hyperlink for contacting them didn't work either, so I called & ended up speaking with "[redacted]". He refused to cancel my order & kept trying to upsell me. I initially accepted his upsell offer. A day later he still hadn't sent the confirm e-mail he promised, but he did post the bigger charge to my credit card. So, pressured to buy something I don't want and lied to, I don't trust OL & I am trying again to cancel this order, up sale included. I e-mailed him this AM, begged AGAIN to cancel my order, & he refused. He petulantly reduced my order to the initial one without the up sold item. I need your help. [redacted] claimed that OL's cancellation policy is clear on their website. It is not clear at all. FTC regs quoted on [redacted] this AM state that "key terms of an offer to a consumer must be clear and conspicuous, not hidden in fine print". OL's policy IS buried in fine print. It is not clear to the customer that their displayed sale price is one for which they do not allow order cancellations. The customer has to read their fine print and then guess if the sale is one that disallows cancellations. Nowhere on their website during my order experience did it say this was a sale "such as inventory clearance" sale. At no time was I prompted or clearly advised that my order could not be cancelled because the item is on sale. Instead, they broadcast "100% satisfaction guaranteed". If an order can't be cancelled, their website should prompt the user specifically and clearly to that effect BEFORE the order is placed, especially if they are going to be as nasty stubborn about cancellations as OL is being. I am extremely upset by this awful experience, and I apologize in advance that it shows.Desired Settlement: PLEASE HELP persuade, convince, request, recommend, demand, insist, do whatever it takes and whatever you recommend to get OLighting to just cancel my order, including their upselling component, and post an immediate refund for the amount they charged to my credit card. It is so simple and cheap for them to just cancel the order. I will drop my complaint if they do.

Review: O Lighting took my order but informed me later that the product was on backorder. They processed my order and collected my payment but never shipped me the product.Order was placed on February [redacted] 2013 and still has not been fulfilled. They stopped taking phone calls or returning them to me on or around March [redacted] 2013.Desired Settlement: I would like my payment returned in full $940.00

Review: I placed an order on August [redacted], 2015 and have yet to receive it. I keep being told on the phone or via email that it will ship this week, next week... t's stuck in Italy and so on and so forth. I finally looked here at Revdex.com and see that they seem to be a scam. They charged my credit card for $600 and have yet to send me my order or re-imburse me. Like others I have communicated via email and on the phone with Chris C[redacted], Jose C[redacted] and a mystery woman named Claudine M[redacted]. I am not sure any of these people exist. The business is a very clever scam. I have started dispute charges with [redacted]. How is this company allowed to keep operating??Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: O Lighting charged us for item that never shipped, they promised us weekly delivery of items for over a 6 month period. They never returned calls and once we had them on phone they would give us an update that the "item will ship next week". We still haven't received item and/or refund, we've requested a refund multiple times which they just ignore. This business is extremely unethical and possibly even fraudulent. Please investigate and call me with any questions.Desired Settlement: We want our money back for an item that was never delivered.

Business

Response:

It would be nice if the client would acknowledge the fact that they disputed the charge, which is why we cannot issue a credit.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

My complaint is more to document that this business does not operate ethically and has terrible customer service. We requested a refund and provided credit information numerous times but never received the refund, at that time we contacted our credit card to dispute the charge. I want public knowledge of this companies poor customer service and possible fraudulent operation. We placed our order and was promised for over 6 months that our shipment was scheduled for delivery every week, we have documentation of that correspondence. We were never given tracking numbers and after 6 months of unfulfilled delivery dates we requested a refund, that refund wasn't issued after numerous requests. Thankfully we used AMEX so our charge will hopefully be refunded using that route. Please allow this information to be public.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: My company ordered 3 floor lamps in July 2015 and a charge was placed on Employee Company American Express for $2281.50. We have not received the lamps and have been told for the last several weeks that they are looking into it. Now they have basically stopped responding. We have called and emailed to no avail and it is too late to have Amex issue a credit. We would like a refund of this money as we have received nothing in return.Desired Settlement: Full refund.

Review: On April **, 2015, an order was placed for two Foscarini Big Bang Suspension light fixtures from Original Pad Inc., through the OLighting.com website. At OPad's request SPHS paid for these fixtures by check on the same day, in the amount of $11,380.50. The check was cashed by OPad on April **, 2015. SPHS made it clear to OPad that the fixtures were needed before June **, over ten weeks from the order date, however the fixtures were not produced by the deadline. During that time and for at least 6 months after the order date and transmission of payment Samaritan corresponded with OPad numerous times by email and phone, but has yet to receive the fixtures. OPad continually said that the fixtures were being shipped but never provided any sort of conformation to this fact. Furthermore, OPad stopped responding to emails and phone calls. A demand letter was sent to OPad for refund of the amount paid for the fixtures that were never received and no response was given. No resolution has been made and no effort by OPad to cure the issue has been attempted.Desired Settlement: Samaritan would like a refund of the money paid for the fixtures.

Review: Olighting / OPAD took our order and never fulfilled it. We placed the $1,760 order for two lamps on 8/*/14. [redacted] and [redacted] at Olighting/Opad then led us on for months with stories about a warehouse backup and delivery/packing issues. There stories went on past 60 days which is the period after which credit card dispute claims are no longer allowed. We basically had no options for a claim with [redacted] after 60 days. [redacted] and [redacted] then led us on for several more months about a refund that never came. They even stated that our [redacted] refund number was our OPAD order number and blamed [redacted] for not processing the refund and that we need. This makes no sense. They stole $1,760 from us. Yesterday on 1/**/15, they charged my [redacted] another $1,760 for a second time which prompted me to spend additional time on the situation and write this complaint. Based on the number of complaints on the Revdex.com site alone, it is clear this company is a fraud. The complaints all tell the same or slightly varied story of their scheme. It is disheartening that they continue to be allowed by the credit card companies to execute this scheme.Desired Settlement: Please give me my money back and destroy my credit card information. YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO CHARGE MY [redacted].

Review: After olighting failed to deliver items that were ordered, they failed to refund my money despite email confirmation that they would and my repeated inquiriesDesired Settlement: I want my credit card used for the purchase to be credited for the full amount

Review: On 7/**/13 I ordered 2 Coupe 2202 Table Lamps from Olighting's website for the amount of $1922. The website stated the lamps had a delivery window of 2-4 weeks.

3 days after placing the order, I sent an email to [redacted] inquiring about the order status. He responded on 7[redacted] stating they were checking on the status and would get back to me.

They did not, prompting me to follow up 3 times between 7/**-8/**.

Finally, I spoke with [redacted] or [redacted] on the phone who on 8/** who told me that the lamps had arrived to Opad but were damaged. The vendor NEVER tried to contact me during the time the order took place about this and when I called. It was only because I called that I was told the items were damaged. After googling this company, I've now found countless references to the same story being related by numerous customers.

I was told that I could wait another 5 weeks, they could offer 20% off another order from their site or they would refund my card.

I decided I would try to order a different pair of table lamps at the discount (discussed over email on 9/*), and was told they would ship by 9/**.

I was never sent another invoice, or had this confirmed in any official manner. When I emailed [redacted] and [redacted] back asking that the vendor confirm the order status and for a new invoice for my records, I was told by [redacted] "I'm a bit confused as we said it would be a couple of weeks". Totally unprofessional and never addressing my initial request for a NEW invoice.

This company is completelyDesired Settlement: I want my ordered delivered ASAP and I want the remaining balance of $394 returned to my credit card. If the order is NOT available for delivery this week, I want the full amount of the original purchase, $1922.00 refunded immediately. Invoice #[redacted] This company has by far the worst customer service and business practices of any vendor I've ever dealt with.

Response:

Customer Ordered 7/** for back ordered items. We updated the customer on stock and began to help him select alternatives. On Mon 9/*/2013 4:06 PM, the client finally selected an alternative fixture with a 3 week lead time, which is very much on schedule and will be shipping out on monday.
