I AM very pleased with one main as they are very courteous and gave us a chance and for that I am totally grateful !

I applied for a small loan of about 6,000,and was approved immediately for 9,unsecured or 12,securedOf course they called and I explained what I wanted with the money and that I didn't want the approval amountI was dealing with Jewels an$ was given a list of things needed by email to submitI submitted requested items and received a call telling me they wanted to approve me for 10,secured by my car for months + told me what they were going to do with the money I requestedI told them that this is not what I was approved for + I was approved unsecuredJewels continued to contact me trying to push me to allow them to do things they way they wanted, but of course I turned them down I called back to speak with the branch manager and was told that Maria B*** was out of the office until WednesdayI then received calls from Jennifer asking me to call her backI returned her call and was told Maria was still out of the office and still have not heard back from herJennifer stated that they reviewed my file and they were approving me for what I requested and I could come and signI asked her the arrangements and payments, she quoted me monthly for monthsI said, are you kidding me! That is double the loan amount + moreI know you need to make money from doing this but this is about as dishonest and crooked as a business getsI would not recommend them to anyoneI Also realized t that when I refused to take what they wanted to give me + my car the interest went up considerablyBuyers beware! I was not that stupid or that desperateI gave star because you cannot select less

Fast friendly and amazing serviceIt was literally the quickest loan I have ever receivedIt only takes about min online then min in their office the next day and your doneI truly enjoy my experience

My October statement showed an outstanding balance of $which included principle and interest On October 17, I paid $
days later I receive an email saying my statement was ready I downloaded that statement and it shows that I have a payment due of $ I called One Main and I was then told that I owed $
The language from the statement says "Though you have paid more on your loan than scheduled by your loan agreement at this time, your loan agreement requires that you make payments each month Your loan is interest bearing with interest accruing daily on the outstanding principle balance UNTIL YOU REPAY IT...."
The one lady said to me - we can break that $down into payments - REALLY? Why would I want to do that? Clearly my intent was to pay the loan off when I paid the balance of $- which anyone looking at my account would have realized - seriously why else would I pay that much? Had I not called OneMain would have kept changing me interest on a non existent principal balance

So far so goodI am writing this review because OneMain Financial emailed me only after two payments out of a month termI will do another review when I pay off this loanI was told this is a simple interest loanSo there will be a part two to this surveySo far I have no complaints!

Dan did a great job servicing our furnace and helping to untangle a particularly knotty duct issue He went above and beyond in my opinion - highly recommend!
