December 19, 2014To: Revdex.com of San Diego & The OC RegisterTo Whom it May Concern:This memo is to briefly outline my conversation with the OC Register since my complaint was filed and to correct some of the facts presented by the OC Register in their response.Below please find the response from the OC Register to my complaint. My corrections and updates in red:We have made several attempts to contact the subscriber to confirm that we have corrected the delivery issue. The OC Register admitted that they made several contacts but with the wrong parties because they did not have our current address and phone number on file for some reason. They called me on the phone number supplied with Revdex.com complaint. We will follow-up with the customer to verify delivery and escalate this matter until it is completely resolved. A credit has been processed for all of the missed delivery days. The OC Register and I did speak about the service issue they were having and finally resolved the matter with an extended subscription for the outstanding issues that were never delivered over the last 6 months. Our settlement included future subscription services until end of July 2015. As requested we have processed a refund of the credit balance on the account as of November 10, 2014. The refund check in the amount of $26.78 was mailed to the address listed on the account. We have not received any remuneration for the OC Register’s failure of service in the form of a check from them as of the date of this memo.As of the date of this email, the matter has been resolved. The OC Register has extended to us the added subscription as explained above. However, we have never received a check as described above. We suspect that since they did not have our correct contact information, the check was made out to someone else, and sent elsewhere.Thank you for your help.Sincerely,[redacted]

I have not seen a bill yet that reflects my discount for missed papers and I would not want to consider this problem resolved until I see a positive pattern of customer service response.  I did receive a call on Dec 10th from a rep verifying I am receiving a paper every day.  I am in fact receiving a paper it is still being barely thrown onto my driveway and it was very wet this past Friday - although it was on the driveway for a number of hours since I was not home - still the red bags they use are cheap and every time it has rained  - I have had a wet paper..

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  I received my Sunday paper on December 14, 2014.  The OC Register has credited my account.  I will however, not consider that this resolution satisfactory until my deliveries become routine.  If the deliveries continue, and if the credit has been made to my account, I will then and only then consider this complaint resolved.
Please note you gave me only the choice of yes its resolved or no it isn't, so I felt the need to revise your standard letter because my stand is somewhere in between the two choices.
