After placing the order the customer had requested to change one of their products to another productThe product they switched to had a longer production time than their original purchased productTheir order was in the last stages of production and scheduled to ship this week, but as

*** *** It was tempting to accept this offer because I would like to put this unfortunate incident behind me. However, having taken a second look at the merchandise sent to me, what I was charged for it, the history of this transaction and the offer itself, I must say that I am impressed only by the business ethic of this company which seems to be transparently disingenuous. Once again, I want to stress to you that, if I had received what I had ordered and found it to be of low quality, I would have chalked that up as a learning experience and I would have had no one but myself to blame. But that is not the case.Origin of Names took it upon themselves to send me a decanter and four glasses other than what I ordered and other than what was pictured in their catalog. They knew from communication with me that this was intended as a gift. They now claim that they did not know that they were sending something other than what was ordered. Seriously? They also claim to have been "back and forth" for a week with their supplier whom they blame for changing styles without informing them. They also claim that, because they were so involved with their supplier, they could not communicate with me - not even to let me know that they had received my complaint and were looking into the matter. So I do not believe that it is an innocent coincidence that I just happened to hear back from them with this offer mere hours after contacting the Spokane Revdex.com.Furthermore, compromising as the offer may appear, there is more to the offer than is readily apparent. Not knowing who their "supplier" is, I can tell you for a fact that what was sent to me was made by *** ***. It is even it its original box. Bormioli glassware is available in most low-end department stores. The set that was sent to me is available on line (engraved) for less than $70.00. And that is retail! I paid Origin of Names $194.99. They are now offering me $to keep this merchandise which I cannot give and do not even want for myself. They will still profit from this quite well and laugh at me all the way to the bank.Finally, there are the other complaints which have been made to you and which are available for all to see. In reading them, I can see that the patterns of non-communication and deceptive advertising have been made manifest in their dealing with me as well. Even now and after all this, I think I should point out to you that, as late as today, Origin of Names is still displaying, in two different sizes and sets, the glassware that I ordered and which they claim is no longer available. So I do not want to accept their offer. I want to return this and I want my money refunded.*** ***

ID ***Hello,The customer contacted May 1st asking about their order and we did respond to them less than two hours later letting them know their order was at our framers and shipping in 3-business daysThe order was shipped in the given time and is scheduled for delivery May 12th

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: on the 21st, their email stated that they would create a new item and ship it to me - not that they had already shipped it.  I received a message from a different person last night (12/01) stating that it looks like they shipped the item out, but providing no tracking number, so I'm really not sure if it has actually gone out or not, and I have no way to track itSincerely,[redacted]

determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The company did send me a new logo, but it did not help. No matter what website I use, the image still runs to the edge of the document (see attachment for example).  I've tried to email then, but received no response.  I'm unable to use the purchase for anything since it won't print out correctly. At this point, I'd like a refund.

Revdex.com,Thank you for the quick help with this issue.I have seen the response sent to the Revdex.com from Origin of Names,  I have not received any such email. and the email address they listed is incorrect   [redacted]  the correct email is [redacted]  Also due to the PayPal Dispute that was opened in February I can't reopen a non received ticket.

The customer was notified of the production time. Unfortunately beign wedding season our glassware manufacturer was running a few days behind. When the customer notified us that it was not going to arrive in time the order was cancelled and fully refunded.

I am rejecting this response because:Although the items did arrive Friday, the one and only reason I received these items at all was because I contacted Revdex.com. I had waited patiently for the items and had requested updates without ever a follow up or the courtesy of a reply for 15.5 weeks! The quality of this company from customer service to the quality of products I have received deserves the extremely low marks given by Revdex.com. I only wish I had thought to use Revdex.com before placing an order with this company. I would never have done business with them if I had checked. Lesson learned. Thanks Revdex.com for your help in getting my items.

ID [redacted]Hello,We would like to address the customers concerns below and offer a solution to this issue. As previously stated we did not send this product. We order our glassware from a manufacturer that engraves the artwork we send them onto their glassware. Our company was not informed that they had switched their decanter set to a new style. When working with another company over an issue like this it often takes weeks to solve and we are still in the process of working with them. As any other retailer we pay our employees to create the artwork that goes on the glassware, we pay the fee for the glassware, and we pay an engraving fee. These costs add up and we do have to sell our products at a higher price then we pay the glassware manufacturer to make a profit. As the product received was of a lower quality we offered a partial refund to make up for the quality discrepancy. We did not mean to offend the customer, we were just looking to seek a compromise as the product was custom made. We have very few complaints on the internet compared to the tens of thousands of orders we have a year and we are always willing to work with the customer. The customer is correct in the fact that the picture has not changed, as we are waiting for our glassware manufacturer to send us a sample of the new decanter set to have pictures taken to display on our website. As the customer did not want a partial refund they can ship the decanter set back to:Origin of Names[redacted]

ID [redacted]Hello,As we have previously told the customer this is not an issue of the product, but of their printer settings/program they are using. We even sent another graphic on April 22nd with an extra white border around it, as they requested. We have suggested they go to a professional print shop if they cannot figure out the sizing settings on their own printer. The customer received the product as advertised. As this is an error on the customers part we cannot offer a refund.Sincerely,Origin of Names
