[redacted] was on Friday the [redacted]. It was by email that you do not need any services. We did take [redacted] off the calling list, and since we have not contacted [redacted]  by email or by phone.

My best move experience ever. I moved at least 7-8 times in my life all of my moves are long distance out of state movers prove me that it can be a stress free move they were superb. Very polite very thoughtful very friendly. I defenetly recommend this company to any one that needs to move.

We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience. Yes we gave [redacted] and estimate by phone. By law the foreman must perform a walk through before any Job. Of course the price will change if more space is needed. The price per cubic feet stayed the same. [redacted] knew, and agreed on the day...

of the move with the new binding price just like the information about Trailer access. [redacted] signed and agreed with the contract before we even started the Job. Yes, [redacted] did ask to have the delivery on the weekend like that his Son wouldn't have to take off from his study. We supported that decision but, we did not promise any delivery date. We did tried our best to make it possible for [redacted] like any of our customers. Due to weather conditions; traffic delays; accidents, etc...  [redacted] did not mention that weekend he wanted the delivery make was the weekend HURRICANE ERIKA visited Florida. The trailer was on time, and arrived to Georgia on Saturday like we expected but, because of the warnings of high wind, flood, from hurricane Erika the Trailers did not want to take any chances to proceed their route down to Florida. The drivers did not want to bring potential damages to the trailer, or damage the goods inside the trailer, or risking being stuck on a flooded high way. This information was given to [redacted] few days before for him and his son to be prepare and plan.  How ever, we did deliver to [redacted]'s Son not on the weekend but, the next day (Monday). We also managed to deliver on the time that [redacted] wanted which is... after 6pm. Regarding the Interstate Moves, YES we have license to do interstate moves. How ever, when the season get too busy we do rely on our affiliated company to fulfill all our customer's demands, such as [redacted]'s.Under these unforeseen circumstances of the weather patterns, we again apologize for your unfortunate experience.?

[redacted] did proform a move with Out of State Movers on 01/**/15. When the forman arrived to the pick up location, he explained to [redacted] that the space he needed for the move will be more that he was priced for, and the new price will be $1380 and not $800. He did agree and sign all...

documents necessary and we did perform the job. When we arrived to Florida at the destination, he stated that he has no money to pay the move. To make the story short, he did got the move for what he wanted from the beggining and the company took a lose of almost $500. So I do belive [redacted] got what he was asking for and I believe this complain is resolved at costumer satisfaction. [redacted]Out of State Movers inc.

they still have not addressed the fact that a 300.00 drill is missing, the tool bag ripped, drill bits missing as well as extra battery chargers the missing tools are 450.00 to replace. I was told I was insured but thay is not the case. they never let me read the insurance documents just stuck paperwork at nme and said sign. the fact is that they obviously jhave a thief working for them. that is a felony to steal from a customer. I want the replacement for my stolen drill!!!!!!!

it was obviously open drill was missing, it was in the bag when loaded on the truck. at this point I am beginning to think the entire bag was deliberately left off the truck and when I complained the miraculously found it in the warehouse. How did the bag not get on the truck with the rest of my stuff.  a drill, battery charger, drill bits and extension cord do not walk away. I had that bag filled to top. hard time closing when I received the bag back it was broken and only half full. I have sent this to the dot office of transportation . I requested they pull your license.

Dear [redacted],Your order # is located on the right hand corner of the Bill of Lading. Which  is a 6 digit #. incase you couldn't find it here is your order #([redacted])Sincerely,[redacted]

Dear [redacted] and [redacted], we apologized for your stressful experience.
We at Out of State Movers Inc. see our customers go through Moving experiences every day.....Excited, Happy, or can't wait for the Move to happen finally. Some sad & stressful as well. Regardless of what your...

emotions may be, we are there to help make all our customers go through their Moving process an happy & less stressful as easy transition as possible with our services. As we all know Moving could be a very over whelming process across the states.Regarding [redacted]'s concern about our truck being too small for his move, [redacted]'s estimate volume was 1627 cubic feet. The truck we sent to pick up [redacted]'s move is enough for the estimated volume,....  and more.
Regarding the 2 box trucks [redacted] rented,....a 16 foot Box Truck = 900 cubic feet approximately. [redacted] rented 2 Box Trucks total: 1800 cubic feet. This alone is over the estimate volume that [redacted] has given us. This means after we have picked up [redacted]'s Move ( which is a full truck, over 1672 cubic feet original estimate) he still have to rent 2 box trucks to complete his Moving out. Clear to us that [redacted] had way more than what he suggested to us.
On the same day of the move, our crew stayed and helped [redacted] packing his 16 foot rental Box Truck after they have finished loading our truck for no additional charge or fee. All because our foreman wanted to do something good and help out [redacted] and [redacted] to ease their stress. NO OTHER COMPANY WILL DO THAT FOR FREE.
On top of that, [redacted] conveniently forgot to mention we left him a Hand truck for him to load his 2nd rental 16 foot Box truck that he has not return to us on the day we made Mr.Card's delivery. Which he agreed, and promised that he will give back . This was not a gift, this hand truck cost us $300 dollars.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I told Carlos, the Out of State representative that I was moving to a rural area.  In fact this area is surrounded by trailer homes (many are double wide homes) and modular homes.  QUESTION:  How do you think those homes are delivered?  ANSWER:  The are delivered by huge tractor trailers.  Many bigger than the trailer the Out of State mover was driving.  Therefore, there was no valid reason for my belongings not to be delivered to my front door, my furniture unwrapped, my bedroom and dining room set up.  It is not my fault if the driver of the tractor trailer that Out of State Movers commissioned was scared and unqualified to deliver the load.  In fact my husband used to drive a 73 foot tractor trailer up and down this property all the time when he was a long haul trucker.  I had to scramble and hire a local man's truck and crew to take my belongings up to my front door (at least 800 feet), unwrap my furniture and unload and set up my bedroom and dining room set at a cost $500.  The Out of State driver and his man did nothing except wait for the cash and return of their blankets.  We called Out of State several times and they finally agreed to give us a $250 credit.  This still doesn't make up for the cost, inconvenience and aggravation we experienced.  It is not up to the customer to make arrangements for an unqualified worker and amounts to a Breach of Contract on their part.  I understand that Out of State loaded and drove my belongings from NYC to SC and being a fair person am asking for 25% return of the contract price plus return of the tip which amounts to $2,047.50  because they didn't finish the job.  I would settle for $2,000.I understand that Out of State delivered my belongings on a long haul from Queens, NY to McBee, SC and I, being a fair person, am willing to pay for their services.  But their driver's inability to do his job resulted in my humble opinion a Breach of Contract.  Therefore, I am requesting a 25% return of the contract price plus the tip. That comes to $1,462.50 plus $585 for a total of $2,047.50.  I would settle for an even $2,000.00.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Here is my Response to their reply:
My initial contact to Noa was on 8/**/15.  We spoke at length about my upcoming small move and the need to have the belongings delivered to Florida no later than 8/**/15.  After discussing costs, we agreed to have a truck come to the house on Thursday, 8/**/15.  I explained to Noa the importance and imperativeness of the agreed delivery and I was assured it would not be a problem.  My son was already in his apartment a week without any furnishings and a bed and just enough clothes for a day or so.  He is also attending graduate school there and would be unable to take off from classes and his studies to receive his belongings after Sunday 8/30/15.  All this was explained to Noa and she ASSURED me this would not be a problem.  I get a call back from Noa and was informed that the truck she promised me for the Thursday pick up was not available and told me she had a truck that could come by Saturday.  Again, I told her the importance of the following Friday or Saturday delivery and again she ASSURED me it would not be a problem.
The truck came on Saturday.  The "foreman's" name is Carlos.  Carlos gave me every indication that he would be the one driving to Florida in the truck they drove to my house.  He also told me that they would be leaving the New York area on Wednesday morning.  Not so.  He lied to me.  He knew very well that they were only acting as a "middle man" and had no intention of delivering my things to Florida.  In fact, he knew very well that the truck and different company that eventually did deliver my things would not be leaving New York until Friday.  He even knew that the truck that would be making the delivery would be too big to make it through normal residential streets and also knew it would cost more money.  Carlos knew the importance of making good on their promises to deliver on time.  But he and his company will do and say anything to get your things packed up because once they are on the truck you are at their mercy.
"All the information was not keep from [redacted]".   In fact, yes it was.  All information was not divulged to me.  Had I known ahead of time that that they would not be leaving NY until Friday, I would have gone with a different company.  I was lied to.
"[redacted] preferred to have the delivery on weekends so his son wouldn't have to take a day off. As always, we explained this to [redacted] that we can only do the best we can to accommodate but, we did not promise him any delivery date."  Originally we agreed upon Friday, 8/**/15, as our delivery date.  I was promised that they would do everything possible to get the things there by that date.   More lies.
"Besides [redacted] signed and agreed by law we can take up to 14 business days for delivery. How ever, we did delivered to [redacted]'s Son on Monday instead of Saturday or Sunday due to HURRICANE ERIKA down in Florida."    Fact.  I personally never signed anything!  Fact.  The national weather service categorized Erica as a Class one hurricane when it was still out in the middle of the Atlantic ocean several days before it was to make landfall.  By the time it reached land it was downgraded several time to a Tropical wave.....less than a tropical depression.  It was nothing more than a storm with mild wind and rain.  A far cry from a hurricane.  Besides, had the truck left when we were told it was going to leave on Wednesday morning, 8/**/15, Erica would have been a moot point as they would have arrived two days prior to her making landfall regardless of what class she was categorized.  Again....more lies by this company.
"[redacted]'s calls was not made with in hours of operation; calls to our office worker's personal phone; [redacted] hung up, and refuse to work with the only person who can give him direct information from A to Z".  Fact.  Both Noa and Carlos gave me their mobile numbers and told me to call them if I had problems.  Noa even told me I could text her.  When I was informed by my son that the driver of the truck (not Carlos and not Out of State Movers) could not make delivery by the promised time, Friday, Saturday or even Sunday, I called Noa.  She did not answer.  When problems arose the following day on Monday, when the truck was finally in Florida but couldn't make it into the complex because it was way to big for normal residential streets, I again text and called Noa with no response.  I then made phone calls to the business directly on Tuesday and Wednesday leaving messages and wanting to speak with Noa, but she never returned any of my calls.  The person who eventually called me back was uninformed and a business puppet.  I asked specifically to talk to Noa since she was the person with whom I dealt with the most but I was blown off.
I want a total of $300 in restitution.  $100 for reimbursement of the extra money spent to have the belonging hand delivered to my sons apartment because the truck was too big.  Another $100 for the tip which I was coerced to give Carlos and his gang of thieves.  They should GET NOTHING!  And lastly, another $100 for my aggravation and having my son take time away from his studies on Monday to take delivery of his items.  I think $300 is a fair and reasonable amount for restitution.  Right now they are lucky I feel this way as I may pursue legal and punitive damages in small claims court.
Thank you for this opportunity to explain my side of the story.

Excellent, quick service and fit in our budget! We were very pleased!
This is the 2nd time we have hired this company. The first was for a local [redacted] move a couple of years ago and when we were looking for a company to help us move from [redacted] a to [redacted] we contacted them and so glad we did! The crew of 4 got our stuff out right before a major snowstorm and within a week we met our stuff at our new home.
They took the time to answer all of our questions and everything arrived damage-free.
