Perry Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of National City Reviews (83)

Review: They sold me a car that was a lemon, I kept calling and calling no response, my steerring wheel lock up on me and brakes as well. The odometer kept tripping going on and off, bad electric. .. I was told my car is on a recall, dodge 2012 charger. ...I was told I had I had to wait 60 days to get fix.... I have warranty, they knew everything. .Desired Settlement: Refund the money and get and get me another car that is safer, or I will do my business elsewhere. ...

Review: I recently bought a car and I needed to get an oil change. I called asking for a price because I was told that it was free since I just purchased it. I called to confirm and the confirmation was a yes by a receptionist. She asked me what year my car was and I told her 2015 so she made my appointment for a FREE oil change. I went to my appointment and was told to come back a different day even though I had an appointment. I didn't complain I just agreed and left. They scheduled me for an appointment today July 8th and when I went to pick up my car, I figured I was just going to get my keys and leave until the cashier told me I had to pay 75 dollars for the oil change. I was shocked and told her that I didn't have to pay anything at all because when I made my appointment they told me it would be free. She went to grab a manager by the name of [redacted]. She was very very very RUDE. She told me that I must of signed papers agreeing to pay the amount. After I told her my situation she still kept arguing in a very rude manner saying there was nothing to do about the situation. She brought out the papers that I SUPPOSEDLY signed, and I made her show me because I never signed or received any paperwork for the service made on my car. Funny story is that when I saw the paperwork, I saw that someone FORGED my signature. I told her and she still said there was nothing she could do while she laughed lightly under her breathe. I told her I couldn't talk to her anymore, I needed another manager. She said there wasn't anyone else, only her, but I was free to look for someone else. Luckily I did find another manager by the name of Terry. I told him if I didn't get my car back I would take legal action because my signature was forged on papers. He promptly got up and talked to the service people and had my car brought back to me in less than 5 minutes. I was treated horrible by [redacted], she didn't care to listen, it was her way or no way. And forging someone's signature is ILLEGAL!!!Desired Settlement: There needs to be something done about the way this business is being ran. Forging someone's signature is extremely critical and illegal! They need better customer service and management. I will never again do business with them or refer any friends or family to them, I have nothing but negative comments to say about the business.

Review: I traded in a vehicle and financed a used vehicle from Perry of National City on May 2, 2013. Perry requested a 10-day payoff amount on existing loan with my trade in vehicle and agreed IN CONTRACT to pay the said dollar amount. I have traded in vehicles in the past and knew after checking two weeks later on my old loan that it should have already been paid off and STILL had not been. I contacted Perry and they said the payoff should be received and verifiable in a couple more days because the process was 'lengthy'. After this I continued to check the loan on a daily basis (via internet) and ended up making a payment on the vehicle I no longer had in my possession in order to protect my credit; understanding that once the company received the payoff (AGREED IN CONTRACT) that the extra payment I made would be mailed back to me. After I made the payment I contacted Perry several more times and left messages with no returned calls. I also contacted my old loan company and verified that Perry called and requested a NEW 10 day pay off on June 1, which is 30 days from the day I purchased my vehicle, and from the time they requested the FIRST 10 day payoff amount. The new payoff is obviously less than the amount agreed to in contract thus affording me two car payments this month one being a vehicle I haven't had in over one month. I still had yet to hear from them regarding this issue so I went into Perry on June 4, 2013. I was told the original payoff was the amount sent to my old loan company but I requested to see it in writing considering my first contract agreement was not upheld. The associate came out with a COPY of stub with the lesser amount dated for May 31, 2013. This information proved they paid an amount NOT agreed to in contract and the paystub date was PRIOR to the date the old loan company had provided me as to Perry requesting a new payoff. The amounts matched but the difference in dates led me to question the validity of the COPY. The associate then promised that Perry would right me a check for the difference in the amount they agreed to and the amount they actually paid once they received the title from the old loan company. IF I even actually receive the money I feel it is very unprofessional for Perry to not take care of these matters in the timely fashion they require because the lack of efficiency then is on the customers dime and is even more importantly a BREECH OF CONTRACT.Desired Settlement: Perry of National City should refund me the difference of the FIRST 10 day payoff amount they agreed to pay IN CONTRACT and the SECOND 10 day payoff they re-requested 30 after the contract was signed at which time I had made a payment to make up for their lack of efficiency.
