I took my dog for grooming to the Petsmart in Utica, MI. When I got him home I noticed that his left eye was extremely bloodshot. Ended up with a $110.00 vet bill so far. May have to take him back. What really made me feel that they were responsible was that a neighbor told me of a similar incident with her dog at the same location. I hadn't even told her that my dog had an eye problem before she told me about her dog. I love my dog and the idea that they did something to him makes me very angry. What is going on there??
Hi there,
I don't want to spend anything at Petsmart anymore or ever. No one has contacted me with regards to my complaint via email or even through phone. What number is being used I'd like to know? There is absolutely no way that anyone has been in contact with me directly.
Please provide a refund, if you would like to be in direct contact with me then email me. If you would like proof of purchase for the grooming I have no problem providing that information.
I have had no one contact me from...
Petsmart in regards to this or anyone for this matter.
Hello,
I was without my computer for a few days due to a crash, it was away for repair and was unable to reply and could not find a place to do so until now. My reply is as follows:
A correction is needed as nobody could've spoken to my husband as I am not married. I live with my dad, which is who whoever called spoke to. They should not have assumed it was my husband! My dad told me someone from PetSmart called, asked him if I received the blanket yet, he told them no (which I haven't), that was it. My dad told me nothing at all was said on the phone about the 12th, that's a lie. Nobody from PetSmart has contacted me further about this matter as they claim in the reply. They refuse to send me the blanket and have treated me terribly as I described in my initial complaint.
My order (#[redacted]), specifically the blanket, had a tracking number sent to me by PetSmart on 7-20-16 of [redacted] via F[redacted]. That box was delivered to CA, you may check and see for yourself. I am in PA and obviously supplied them with my home addy in PA.
I wanted to be sure this proof was added that I did not receive the blanket, nor did I receive a shipment of dog treats from this same order (which the tracking number led nowhere - it did not even exist to be tracked). I will never order online from them again.
I hope this satisfies Revdex.com with the information I've provided. I keep atypical hours so email is appreciated, not phone.
Sincerely,
Dear Mr. [redacted],

I received a call from them yesterday unfortunately I missed the call. There wasn't any message left so I wasn't sure as to who to speak to. If we could set up another call and I know whom to speak with that would be great.
Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for taking the time to contact PetSmart regarding your experience in our store. I was very sorry to hear about your visit and interaction with one of our managers. I have asked our store manager [redacted] to contact you regarding your visit so he may...
gather some further detail and assist in resolving.
Thank you again for letting us know.
Sincerely,
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I previously filed a complaint which is complaint number #[redacted]. Basically I bought a product from a brand sold at Petsmart (whiskey city). It was closed on October 17th stating a resolution would be offered. My couch is ruined from thier product , physically damaged, and the company is offering to have my couch cleaned. That does not help the fact thier product took off pieces of leather to my brand new couch might I add. I sent in pictures, an invoice of the cost of the couch. I would like pet smart to provide me with contact information to deal directly with this company. I am getting no results.
Regards,[redacted]

We took our two german shepherds to the Seneca, SC location on Sat Jun 11th, 2016. My dogs are very well behaved and very sociable. While not veterans of grooming, both have been groomed a couple times before at this same location. Each time we had a good experience and felt we were leaving our dog in good hands. This time however, when we arrived they questioned us about medications they were on. We were honest and told them we gave our 7 yr old a Dramamine because he gets car sick. They said it was against their policy to groom a dog on Dramamine but couldn't really explain why. They then asked a manager for approval as they had groomed him before on this medication with no problems. That manager then went to another manager and ultimately after about 20 min approval was given. We told them several times that if they could not groom them both then we would take them elsewhere as we did not want them separated. They do much better together. They assured us it would not be a problem and we left the dogs. About an hour later we get a phone call from the manager stating our 7 yr old was not acting right and was acting anxious. She further stated that with his history of anxiety they were concerned about him and decided they could not groom him. Neither of my dogs have any history of anxiety nor was this word even used at any point when we dropped them off. I confronted her about this and she changed her story around and said she was misinformed but either way the dog was not acting right and they would monitor him while they groomed the 3 yr old but the 7 yr old would not be groomed. At first I gave consent to continue with the 3 yr old but after about 10 minutes of thinking about it I became more concerned about why my dog's behavior would have changed as he is very good natured and easily adaptable, even our vet brags on how well behaved our shepherds are. So we called Petsmart back and told them nevermind, we would just come get the dogs. On our arrival they quickly retrieved both animals and brought them out, the dogs couldn't wait to get away from the employees which is unusual because they love making new friends. Both dogs just about pulled us out of the store. My 7 yr old was acting normal other than being in a hurry to get away from petsmart and I am unsure what made them think he was acting anxious or nervous. Maybe they are only used to little bitty dogs and my 100+ lb dogs intimidate them. All I know is that I spent over 2 hours ferrying dogs up and down the road and they still need to be groomed. I will not so much as buy a dog bone from petsmart again. I will not refer anyone to their grooming services and I will be taking my dogs to a local groomer this week.
I'd like to make this public. Petsmart, being a reputable organization, should really look into how their appointment system works or being maintained. Twice already, my wife drove for 30 minutes under the hot sun in Arizona to bring our dog for an appointment only to be told the appointments were cancelled. They even said, the customer requested for cancellation. NO WE DID NOT. Plus, no one from Petsmart even called us. This is ridiculous. I will seek to cancel our monthly subscription with them because clearly they are not competent to even stick to an appointment.
