October 19, 2017[redacted]RE: Revdex.com Reference Number [redacted]Dear Mr. [redacted]This is in response to your complaint filed on August 24, 2017 with the Revdex.com of Western Pennsylvania regarding your PNC Bank, National Association (“PNC”), Virtual Wallet Spend Account ending in [redacted] (the “Spend Account”) and Reserve account ending in [redacted] (the “Reserve Account”).  Thank you for taking the time to speak with me on August 24, 2017, regarding your complaint.  I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Although Overdraft Protection and Overdraft Coverage are both designed to help customers manage their accounts, they work independently of each other.  Overdraft Protection links your Account (the protected account) to another PNC account (the protecting account).  Funds are transferred from a protecting account when the balance available to pay items in the protected checking account is insufficient to pay the items presented for posting.  Your PNC Virtual Wallet includes Overdraft Protection as a standard feature.  If you overdraw your Spend account which is the protected account, we will transfer money from your Reserve, Growth or other designated PNC account (the protecting accounts) to cover the transactions creating the overdraft.  For more information, please refer to the section entitled “Overdraft Protection Agreement” within your Account Agreement.  According to our records, your Account has been Opted-Out of PNC Overdraft Coverage since June 26, 2017. Overdraft Coverage allows PNC, at our discretion, to authorize and pay transactions even if the Account balance is insufficient to pay items.  Overdraft Coverage is applicable to ATM and everyday (one-time) PIN and non-PIN debit card transactions only.  If you opt out of Overdraft Coverage, you are not opting out of standard overdraft practices for checks, ACH transactions, and other recurring debit card transactions.  If any of these items (checks, ACH, recurring debit card transactions) attempts to post to an account with an insufficient available balance, PNC may cover the transaction at our discretion.  If transactions are allowed to post into a negative balance, the account may be assessed up to four (4) Overdraft Item or Returned Item fees (NSF) a day.  Please Refer to the section titled “Insufficient Funds and Overdrafts” in PNC’s Virtual Wallet Fine Print (“Account Agreement”) for details.  A copy of the Account Agreement is enclosed for your records.  According to our records, on August 14, 2017, your Spend Account had an available beginning balance of $122.96.  Three (3) pending debits totaling $55.71 reduced your available balance to pay items to $67.25.  Subsequently, ten (10) transactions totaling $157.20 presented to the Spend Account for posting.  An Overdraft Protection Transfer in the amount of $89.95 was automatically completed from your Reserve Account, resulting in a final balance of $0.00.  I have enclosed a copy of the Overdraft Protection Transfer notice mailed to your address of record on August 15, 2017.  PNC’s Internal Transfer service allows you to transfer funds between your eligible PNC bank accounts.  For transfers between checking accounts, you can complete same day transfers until 10:00 p.m. ET.  Transfers made after 10:00 p.m. E.T. will post to your account the following business day.  For more information regarding internal transfers, please review PNC’s Online Banking User Guide, which is available through your Online Banking account at www.pnc.com.According to our records, on August 15, 2017, the beginning balance of your Reserve Account was $190.47.  An online transfer to your Spend Account in the amount of $190.47 that was initiated by you and scheduled after 10:00 p.m. E.T. on August 14, 2017, posted to your Reserve Account.  Because of the Overdraft Protection Transfer from your Reserve Account to your Spend Account in the amount of $89.95 that was automatically initiated, this transfer overdrew your Reserve Account by $89.95.  As disclosed in PNC’s Virtual Wallet Features and Fees, within the Overdraft Services section, there is a $7.00 per day Fee assessed each day the account remains overdrawn for five or more calendar days, up to a maximum of $98.00.  This fee is in addition to any other fees assessed for the overdraft.  As no deposit was made to bring your Reserve Account positive, fourteen (14) $7.00 Continuous Overdraft Fees were assessed between August 15 and September 1, 2017.  As a courtesy, all Continuous Overdraft Fees assessed were refunded as of September 5, 2017.On September 19, 2017, you made an ATM deposit of $100.00 to your Spend Account.  Because your Reserve Account was still overdrawn $89.95, PNC transferred $89.95 to your Reserve Account to return the Reserve Account to a $0.00 balance.  A $2.50 online transfer was also completed from your Spend to Reserve account on September 19, 2017.  PNC Alerts, which in addition to keeping your account register up to date, recording purchases as they are made, and maintaining a positive account balance, may help to effectively manage the account and avoid the assessment of fees.  Additionally, verifying that funds have been deposited prior to initiating transactions for withdrawal can assist with maintaining a positive account balance. PNC Executive Client Relations PNC Bank, N.A. Enclosures PNC Reference Number [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern: PNC Bank, N.A. responded to [redacted] on January 19, 2016, and considers this matter addressed. Sincerely,  Andrea C[redacted] Executive Client Relations PNC Bank

I called PNC today at 2:45 PM and spoke to Kim C[redacted]. I told her that I was to offer confirmation that my mother never made any withdrawals on the account after she signed the signature card by another representative. C[redacted] told me that this was not the case and that she (C[redacted]) had to do extra research to establish this fact. Upon establishment C[redacted] told me that she would submit the request for reimbursement for all pre-authorized debits taken as offset for my mother's line of credit today and that I would receive my refund of $2253.22 into my savings account one week from today at maximum. This credit should appear in my Virtual Wallet and I should receive a phone call from her when the request is completed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not...

resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I received a phone message from PNC and they stated they were sending written documentation regarding the complaint.  I had requested (as in the complaint filed, many times written documentation as to why my account was touched before I was informed as to what they were going to do, and why.  I have not received any documentation as of today (March 22, 2016).  This matter/complaint is NOT resolved.

my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The response from PNC that they responded to me on Nov 19 is not accurate. I did  not hear from PNC on that date!  There has been several attempts to reach out  to me but I have always been unsuccessful to reach a person on my returned calls always leaving a message. On Oct 19 they did credit my account by $476 but I still feel it is short by some $300-400.
