This place is awful
One-star cause had to… otherwise it would be a negative 100. They are very rude, hung up on me twice and said that I took the car out of range. I'm paying to use it and for the mileage. I don't see what that matters. The car overheated the whole trip Leak and when I called he said have someone check the oil for you. He then threatened me with the police for stealing his piece of crap car. Because I'm late and still trying g to pay him for the car for the next day. Called me a liar. I usually rent from enterprise, but they did t have a car. I would rather ride a greyhound that deal with the as pieces of c[censored].

I called this company to try to save a bit of money on a car rental and the jerk who answered the phone couldn't have been more rudeHe quoted me a price and when I commented "that doesn't seem cheaper than Avis and those big places..." and paused to ask for a price for a smaller model and he rudely said, "it is if you include taxes--good luck finding something and HE HUNG UP ON ME!! I am floored that a business would think that they could compete in a SERVICE industry by treating potential employees that wayI am going to make it the main point of my trip to Phoenix to trash this company to everyone who will listen and to all my friends and family in the areaGood luck indeed!

Well, where should I begin???This place should be called Phoenix rip off Car RentalThis place is a joke from the staff and the unprofessionalism to the run down pieces of s@#$& vehicles they provideI would honestly rate them a negative if it was possibleWARNING Do not rent from these guys!!!! Shady as could be with absolutely no customer service skillsI cannot imagine how this joke of a company has been in business for month let alone years! Seriously, if you are reading this and thinking of renting from here steer clear awayIt all started with the snooty man who answered the phone named ED (The Owner) or supposedly that was his nameHe had a bad attitude from the get go and wouldn't even let me get a word inI was calling them to get more info on a rental for days but he just quoted me $140-plus tax said it would be a "Chevy Malibu" and hung upI called back because I needed more info and detailsHe just told me to "pick up the car between 3-6pm and bring dollars cash" then hung up againSo I call a third time to ask if I can pick up the vehicle from there west side location because that would be more convenient for us and he said "not a problem" So at this point I knew it was last minute but I just wanted to get my wife and I out of Phoenix for our year anniversary despite all the negative reviews and all the red flagsSo I went with the flow because one of my buddies had recommended me using this placeBoy was he wrong!!! When I got to the West side location the next day right around 5:pm to pick up my so called MalibuThe man who finally decided to show up to the counter, after I waited ten minutes in the heat with my two kids and wife, I believe he said his name was "Mario"Right off the back he had a bad attitude and was very angry and rudeHe said there was No Malibu ready for me but he did have an Impala so my wife and I decided that would workI signed one paper gave him my cash and never once did "Mario" do a walk around or a check list of the vehicle! "What rental company doesn't do a walk around or inspection first?" So we drive off and it's still light outsideWe take our kids to my mom's house to drop them off so my wife and I can go home and pack everything and head out of townWell by the time we got the kids to my mom's and got home and everything packed it was late & dark outsideWe start up the "Impala" and the front passenger side headlight is out!!!!!! OMG words can't describe how mad I am already at this pointSo of course Auto zone and O'Reilly are closed at that pointI call Phoenix Car Rental and leave multiple messages for whom ever to call me back asap! No Call back, so my wife and I decided to just wait till the morning when they open up because we were already exhaustedThe next morning comes I still have not received a call back and no one answered their phones until 9:am and they claim to open at 8amAnd the kid or man who finally answered told me to "take it to Auto zone but don't tell them it's a rental because they cant legally help you"i told him NO I will bring it to u guys and you will fix it So I run the car up to the West side location to change out the headlight and it ends up taking them an hour to do a min job!!! Meanwhile my wife and I are sweating our tails off waiting OUTSIDE for them to fix itNot one time were we offered water or any thing to accommodate us for there wrong doingWe also asked for the registration and insurance but we were told the one slip of paper I signed was all we needed as our proof of everything, but yet their was NO make or Model or VIN number written downSo we drive to California and have a blast for daysAnd on our way back on Saturday we give them a courtesy call around 2-3pm to inform them we were going to be a half hour late or so and what does he suggest we do to drop off the carThe rude monotone voiced gentleman said bring it back Sunday morning and he's going to charge us for another day and hung up the phoneWe called back numerous times to talk to him like civilized adults but he did not want to hear anything we had to say and kept hanging upSunday morning we show up to drop off the car and instead of empathizing, sympathizing or even recognizing any of their WRONG DOINGSHe simply had the audacity to tell my wife and I to LEAVE his property because we were trespassing ("But how are we trespassing when we were dropping off their Rental car to there property?") all we wanted was ONE of their employees to look us in the eye and tell us this wasn't a SCAM from the get go!!!!! He did not accommodate us for all the BS we went through and he charged us more and gave us no deposit backWhat a scam don't fall victim like we didGO ELSEWHERE I don't know how this man sleeps at night knowing he is just taking peoples money hand over fist.THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP!!!!

my experience was terriblethey ripped me offthe car they rented me was crap and when I returned to ask too exchange it he got an attitude with me and my bf because he was wrong for renting a car that needed repairsvery disrespectful verbal assaulted my bf crusing and yellingthe initial rate was $for days but when I returned the vehicle to get it exchanged I already put a full tank of gas and he refused to put me in another vehicleovercharged me for day $and wouldnt refund the gasim not sure how this man is in business...YOU CAN NOT TALK TO PEOPLE THEY WAY HE DOES...and hide behind a counter

I was in need of a car while mine was in the shop ASAPI called around to place close to my job and found this place for $a week what a deal They were not friendly and customer service was horribleI should have stayed a way the same day hours later I was overheating on the freewayI had driven the car less than milesThe car flashed red and made an alarm noise so I pulled over immediatelyI called in to let them know what was going on and the guy yelled at me to get off the freeway that I was going to ruin his engineI was already pulled over on the freeway I do know better I had to call a friend for help and got to a safe place, Phoenix Car Rental said they would call me back within the hourI didn't think they would since it was after hours.I asked the guy on the phone what they were going to do, he said I don't know we will figure it out later I had figured out from the customer service that they were going to be no help, so I just went back the next morning and gave them their keysThey made me go back and physically show them where the car was and they would not give me back any money until they found out what was wrong with it Later in the afternoon I got a call from Ed the only guy that was kind of nice and he said I was going to be charged about $I didn't argue over the phone I just showed up in person I asked in person why so much, they charged me $for the rental and the rest in fees, my exact total was $Keep in mind I had the car for a few hours and when it broke down they did not offer any help for me to get back to themI told the guy that was too much for a few hours and he said "you are lucky we aren't charging you for the whole week"

I was involved in an accident and needed an inexpensive rental carI went to Phoenix Car Rental because they advertised $a week rentalLittle did I know that this rental would cost me over $ Do NOT go hereThis place lies, cheats and is the rudest business I have ever been involved withThey charge for everythingThey charge 18.55% tax, which I'm going to look intoI gave them $deposit for $a week rentalI had the car daysThey said I still owed them $They added on $a day for liabilityI ton them that I had my own liability insuranceThey said that didn't matter, that I had paid in cash rather than by credit cardWHAT DIFFERENCE DID THAT MAKE? The fine print is so tiny and so faded you can see itI was NEVER told about any of these charges either on the phone or in person!! This business needs to be avoided like the plague! Oh, my first car from them had a quarter of a million miles on itIt would stall while driving and the engine light came onI got a second one which got a flat tireThe spare was shredded and flat and the jack didn't workI'm going to be looking into any legal options I can findI spent $on a day, $rental They suck! Went in to book a car for the weekend was told a price of $290 over the phone once arrived they had my wife sign a contract while misleading her telling her there was a $200 deposit which is why it was $500 she believed she would be receiving the $200 deposit back but only received $30 when called to talk to them they said that they discussed this with her but there is no way that there is $200 in fees associated this place is an absolute joke the cars are old with high miles the transmission clunk down us the entire time it was driven we called to ask them about it and they said it has a heavy-duty transmission regardless they are scam artists telling one person one thing and another a different story 500 dollars for 4 days in a 2008 impala when you can go to the airport for 35 dollars per day with a brand new car what a joke

Nasty owner..I asked about the charges and he blew a fuse..Turns out he does this to all customers

When he get s finished adding all the midden fees it ads another $some dollars plus taxes....Question him on it and he'll yell at you
They charge a $ dollar and change cleaning fee for cars that have almost 200k miles and are filthy..The cars are deplorable

I contacted this rental company by phone after doing a web searchIt didn't dawn on me to check with the Revdex.com, apparently I should have as I see this business is not accreditedI was told that it would be $for the week and $taxThey said they had airport pickup and return (I found out later that they charged you for this service, I was never told that on the phone)When we picked up the car we found out that they only had used cars, 150,miles or olderOn their website it states: "We have a wide variety of new and used cars available to rent." There were no 'new' cars availableWe drove off with one car but had to return it because the passenger seat had a spring coming up, the 2nd cars seatbelt in the back did not work, the drivers side lock did not work properly, the rear door would not open from the inside, there was a loud clicking sound coming from the engine periodically and the ignition would have to be 'jimmied' to workThe car did get us to our destination and back but we were charged $not the $that we were toldWhen I called to talk to them about this their 'customer service' person, bullied and ridiculed meThis is not a reputable place of business

This business is pathetic They quote you a price over the phone They tell you to call once you are in the baggage terminal I called them three times The third time I called they told me to get a cab and they would reimburse me upon arrival They said the airport shuttle had just left THERE IS NO SHUTTLE!! They reimbursed and added it on the end of bill at time we returned vehicle They quoted $plus $Airport taxes and final bill was They tacked on a cleaning charge and gave me a dirty vehicle to begin with The door locks did not work, big burn hole in the seat, trunk button broke, key did not work properly in the ignition I complained when I delivered vehicle back but they just gave me a card for the boss of which I will follow up They take in a 18% tax but what do they pay into state Someone needs to check into this company They gave us a pink copy at time of cheand the final bill was a yellow copy with those things added Crooks with a capital C!!!!
