I am writing to let you know that we have received your
Revdex.com concern in our Executive Offices.
 
We understand that you have issues with the hotel portion
of this package.
 
We apologize for the inconvenience. We have canceled the
hotel portion of this package and your refund has been processed. A refund for
$568.24 was issued today, August 3, 2016. We will issue a refund to your bank
within one business day. Your bank will then post it to your account.
The bank processing time varies so please check with them
if you do not see it in your account within a few days.
 
In addition, please send us the receipt of the new hotel
accommodation that you have booked for us to refund the price difference. You
may send the receipt as an attachment using PDF or JPG format and  be sure that it is no larger than 2MB. Any
attachments that do not meet this criteria are considered potential for spam/malware/viruses
and are stripped from the email of our corporate email account.

request for $90.72 was submitted for approval. The refund amount is equivalent

two weeks in regards to this request. Once the refund is approved, your bank

$152.00 per night which is higher than what you paid. In order to be eligible
for our Best Price Guarantee, the  lower
price, including taxes and fees, must be available to the general public for

will be released back onto the card once the vehicle is returned. If the
driver provides a debit card for the security deposit, proof of round trip

I am rejecting this response because:
My issue is not with the terms of the agreement. My issue is that the room was not as advertised. The room was advertised as being within the [redacted] District. In fact, the room is NOT in [redacted] District, but in [redacted] District. [redacted] is a safe district, while [redacted] is a crime-ridden district. The room was advertised in a misleading way, and as soon as I realized this, I called to cancel the reservation. but the hotel refused. In fact, the reviews on Priceline were also misleading, though I notice now they have changed them, but when I made the reservation the reviews were not as negative. When I went to [redacted] the property for directions, reviews literally said, "Beware." I cannot subject my child, nor myself, to the kind of environment that exists at this hotel in the [redacted] District of [redacted]. 
Please see attached screenshots showing that the hotel is advertised as being in [redacted]. This is extremely misleading. I have used Priceline several times in the past and have always been satisfied. I thought this was a reputable site and that the hotels were trustworthy.

I was informed I can carry 2 bags per passenger per your website.  I was told by AA staff that the baggage policy had changed six months prior to me purchasing tickets.  It is your responsibility to update your website and notify customers of any changes that occour.  I am purchasing tickets through YOUR company not AA.  It is your job to keep your website update to date with most accurate information.  If policy changes it should not take your company 6 months to update information.

I am rejecting this response because:
I stayed at the [redacted] hotel  previously and know what kind of hotel it is and it is definitely not a four star hotel.   I know that Priceline.com has ripped off many customers over the years leading them to believe that they are getting a four star hotel at the [redacted] ( located at [redacted] Road, [redacted], AZ[redacted]) when they really are not.  I realize that many of the hotel ratings are arbitrary and that they is no official ranking of hotel ratings.  I have seen the evidence for this myself that in years past Priceline has charged as low as $50 per night for this hotel and on many nights, the [redacted] was advertised at a rate of approximately $100.00 a night in 2014 on[redacted].com and other websites.  I do not know of any other so called four star hotels that need to lower their rates to $100.00 a night or less just to rent rooms.  This hotel is long overdue for renovations and both the management at Priceline.com and the [redacted] are deliberately misrepresenting this hotel just to sell rooms to unsuspecting customers.
Since the management at Priceline.com chooses to be uncooperative with my request for a full refund of $264.00 (as I did not spend even a minute in this hotel on Dec. 21-22, 2014), I will be forced to take the following actions against Priceline.com:
 
1)  I will file a complaint with the Connecticut State [redacted].  As I firmly believe that Priceline.com is fraudulently enticing consumers to stay at a hotel which is not what it is stated to be .   If Priceline.com could not honor my bid of $112.00 per night for a four star hotel they should have rejected it as stated on their website rather than trying to steal my money in a desperate attempt to fill rooms at this run- down hotel.
2)   I will take to social media and tell others about the experience that I am having with the thieves at Pricelie.com.  I will communicate with others who experienced this identical problem with both Priceline and the [redacted] Hotel.  This information in turn will be provided to the State of Connecticut [redacted].
3)  I will take Priceline.com to small claims court if needed in order to recover the money that they are trying to steal from me. 
I tried to resolve this situation in a very civilized manner.  However, Pricelie.com management has made it impossible to do so.  Others should know this information as well in order to prevent them from experiencing this same problem.  I can assure you that I will never use Pricelie.com ever again.
