A Living Nightmare. To sum up what could be an incredibly long story, I paid off what I owed before my 6 months no interest period was up. I actually accidentally overpaid. It was an actual nightmare getting them to refund what I overpaid etc. but then I kept getting texts saying I owed them for the week, I'd call them and they'd tell me, "nope. I see you're all paid up, we will turn off those texts." But I kept getting them. Well flash forward to three months after I paid them off I get a random $23 dollar charge. I do some digging and realize the 2 months prior they charged me 78 dollars and somehow I didn't notice. This enraged me because I always called in my payment, I never gave permission to automatically charge my card and remember I ALREADY PAID MY BALANCE!!! When I called I spoke with Major, and he remembered me from all the bs he had to fix for me etc. and I was transferred to Ace who was the one who finally fixed my account because he's the "manager" he was like well I kind of remember you and it's all coming back now. I asked if he remembered refunding me etc and he said yes but that on his end it shows I didn't pay off in 6 months so was switched to the 18 month plan and still owed 1000 dollars because of that!!!! I lost my mind and demanded the owner call me but surprise surprise I'll have to wait until Monday but then he will totally call me. Yeah right that's what I was told all the other times and that never happened I had to stalk them to get them to help me. I even had to bring them bank statements to prove I overpaid and they made me drive them up there. Ridiculous. I will be reporting this to my bank as well and thank God have more than enough proof with statements etc that I overpaid before my 6 months was up. I even have all my original paperwork and agreements so good luck crossing me. I'm an RN and my husband is military. We don't deserve this garbage. This place is a total scam and they don't even care enough to help you when they mess up on their end.

Billing and collections issues.
My account is almost paid off, I have less then $100.00 left on my account. every week I am receiving text messages every week threatening to come and take my tires. I call and talk with the employees at this location while a few try to help me most are rude and tell me I can bring the tires back. a few weeks ago I called trying to discuss a late payment and told them my bank account was overdrawn at the time. They proceeded to charge my bank account over $80.00 and overdraft fees and was told if I don't like then I can just bring the tires back in and they will refund my account then hung up on me.

Desired Outcome

I would like the company to credit my account for the overdraft fee from their unauthorized charge to my debit card which is $35.00

Customer Response • Aug 20, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Spoke with the regional manager and he closed my balance out as paid in full

Was given a price in the beginning and told a different price afterwards.
I came into RNR in Bossier on 7/21/20 to get 4 new tires put on my car. I came here because I was told I could pay 6 months same as cash for my tires. I was given the quote of $676+ Tax for 4 brand new Nexon tires. When I came in, nobody really explained anything to me. The guy helping me just had me fill out a form with my name, address, place of employment, and references. I did so and gave him my check stubs for proof of employment and License. He made copies and told me that it would require a $30 down-payment today. I said okay and paid. He then told me to have a seat and someone would call me up soon. I assumed they would be calling me back to discuss payment arrangements for the tires, but they were already installing the tires..... This was without me even signing the actual payment agreeement?!?! After the tires were installed they called me into an office and started discussing the payments with me. This is when everything started to not add up. They draw you in with the tire price, but don't tell you that you also have to pay a monthly insurance fee. After adding the monthly insurance fee with the cost of the tires, there was still money that they could not tell me where it was coming from or what it was. So the cost of the tires ended up being like $714 with tax, but I would have paid almost $1000 by the end. I told them I was going to go somewhere else and I just needed my key. They told me that they already put the new tires on. I told them that since they never got me to sign ppwk, that I wanted my old tires put back on and I would go somewhere else. The guy gave me a rude look and went to the back. They then told me to have a seat and it would be a little while. About 15 min later, someone came out and handed me my key. I asked the guy at the front desk if they were going to refund me my $30 down-payment and he said No. He said it was non-refundable and it was used to install tires.....(Which I had no idea that's what they were doing in the back because they hadn't called me to the front to even discuss payment arrangements. In a situation like this, this stuff should really be discussed beforehand. I really think this is how they get people in. Its a big Scam.) I left and told them I would leave a review. I drove down the street and when I got on the interstate and started going 65, my wheel started to shake really bad. I called them and they told me to bring it back in because something wasn't balanced. I feel at this point, they were mad because they put tires on, without my knowledge, and then had to put them back on and they did so carelessly. This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with tires being installed. I WILL NEVER RETURN AND MAKE SURE OTHERS KNOW OF MY EXPERIENCE. I would also like to be refunded the $30 they basically stole from me!

Desired Outcome

I would like the $30 they took from me for "installation" of tires I never received.

They left my car in bricks.
I've been a customer of RNR for less than a month. I thought I was setup with automatic payments. I was on vacation this past week and when I got back from vacation my car was left on bricks. This after one payment missed because a misunderstanding.

Desired Outcome

I want my rims back.

My front end shakes bad every time I get on the highway.
On 6-22-20 I purchased a set of wheels and tires for my 2020 Jeep Renegade. When I got on the highway my front end started shaking really bad. I went back by the shop a few days later. They were busy so I had to come back. The next day I went back and they balanced the tires again. When I got on the highway the same thing was happening so I called the shop back. They told me they would have to order some part for my car. All of this is the first week of having the wheels and tires. Called back July 3rd and asked about the part. I was told its coming from California and it was backed up. I asked for my money back and was told I couldn't get a refund. That the $500 I put down paid off 2 tires. So I was told they would look into some more options for me and send me pictures. I received one picture from Jenny July 3rd and 2 more July 6th. I havent heard anything from anyone since.

Desired Outcome

I just want my car to ride like it should. I have never had a problem with the company until now. If I am paying for a service or item it should be working properly. If you know there is a issue don't ignore the issue.

Rent-N-Roll Response • Aug 05, 2020

Good Afternoon, We had been in contact with *** when we 1st heard of the issue, and over the 1st week in July there was miss communication between the sales staff on what *** wanted to do next on wheel option because to replace the wheels that where on the vehicle our vendors were telling us that they were on back order and could not give us a solid answer when they would be in, After an exhaustive nationwide search, we recently found a set of wheels that another franchisee in Georgia had to replace the ones on ***'s vehicle and are now waiting for them to come in which we expect to be in the next few days. *** is aware of what we have worked out for her.

Got screwed by management
In 2013 I purchased a wheel and tire combo I paid my bill on time for the most part. When I saw that I wasn't going to be able to pay for that week I would call Kenny and make arrangements. I had 2 payments left on my account when a new manager took over with a entire new staff. I called to make arrangements and was told I was good neither to say two weeks later my account was debited for the payoff amount. So I'm thinking I'm good but about a month later I walked outside to find my car on bricks. When I called the store I was told that I was 2 months behind. I'm not one that keeps receipts so I couldn't prove anything hopefully you can help me get to the bottom of this.

Desired Outcome

I want closure and my name removed from your bad renters list!!!!

The manager at the Alexandria location (Nick R.)talked to this customer. The customer stated that he had some issues with the Baton Rouge, LA location. Additionally he stated that our wait time was too long. Ultimately we did fix the issue with the customer's and will be more mindful of extended wait times in the future. We do apologize for any inconvenience to this customer.

As of May 28th I paid off my balance and have been billed again. 6 mos same as cash and have paid a total of $885 and paid prior to end of the 6 month
I spoke to the manager of the Atlantic blvd location on May 28th and we had a dispute over their billing practices and at that time the manager advised my payoff was $285 and I paid the $285 online. Today I received another call stating I owed more money although I paid off on May 28th. Paid in total $885.

Desired Outcome

As of May XX XXXX my payoff was $285 and I paid $285 on May 28th, yet RNR has called again today July 7th 2020 seeking additional payment. They should stop billing me and nothing else should be owed after the $285 paid on May 28, 2020. This feels like robbery.

Rent-N-Roll Response • Jul 09, 2020

's account has been closed and is paid in full from her $285 payment made on May 28th. There was some confusion on our part due to a management change at that location but when Ms. called RNR corporate office her account was reviewed and paid out as she requested. Ms. was called from the Regional Manager on 7/8/2020 and left a voice mail that the account had been closed and paid in full and that if she had any further questions she could call me. I want to apologize on behalf of RNR Tire Express for the mix up on your account and if you still have any further questions you can call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Customer Response • Jul 10, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I went to RNR to repair my pre-leased tire. The previous person to lease the tire ruined it. RNR sold it to me anyway and accused me of lying. I took my pre-leased tire that I was renting from RNR to them for repair. The previous person to lease the tire ruined it. RnR was still willing to repair it. One employee said the hole was too close to the side wall to be able to fix it. The manager said it wasn't and told him to patch it anyway. I was quite skeptical that the patch would hold as the tire had already been plugged by the previous renter. When I raised my concerns to the manager he got very defensive and accused me of putting the plug in myself and used fix a flat. When I told him I didn't and that it would be completely illogical to pay someone to plug the tire and buy fix a flat when I could simply have it fixed for free by RNR. He didn't relent. The manager then said that he was done with the situation and was repossessing my tires. I thought if I could speak to someone higher up the chain that it would solve the problem. I spoke to the owner who also accused me of lying. He told me if I admitted to the lie then they would allow me to keep my tires. I refused to admit to something I didn't do.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) Treat your customers better. I doubt *** S.would have called me a liar and said I need admit to something I didn't do in order to keep the tires I paid for.

Contact Name and Title: *** M. President

I spoke to the listed customer. He explained the situation about having the flat and that our store manager dealt with him on the flat issue. After contacting our manager, he instructed me that the customer brought the tire in with a make shift plug in the tire and fix a flat had been used by used by customer in which voids warranty. Manager offered to fix the tire anyway but customer insisted on arguing. Manager instructed the customer that he could return the tires since he was unsatisfied that RNR had offered to warranty and repair the tire.
Upon my speaking with the customer, he stated that he had no idea how the plug and the fix a flat had been placed in the tire. He stated (as in his statement) that the previous owner had plugged the tire and put fix a flat in the tire. I told the customer that mounting a tire with fix a flat inside is impossible since liquid will run out when the tire is being mounted to his wheel. At that point the customer stated that he left the car roadside for a day and a half and anything could have happened. I asked the customer, so you're telling me that someone came along on the road and plugged your tire filling with fix a flat also. Story didn't add up. I instructed the customer that we would honor our warranty or he could return the tires. The entire conversation was very confusing as we were simply trying to resolve a flat tire. Additionally, we do not externally plug tires for flat repair. We use a special sealing plug that can only be installed by removing tire from the wheel. Once the repair is made, the tire re-mounted to the wheel, balanced and inspected for safety.
At RNR Tire Express, we maintain only the highest service and strive on complete customer satisfaction according to our business model and our tire warranty program. Unfortunately, we occasionally encounter a situation that we tried to resolve but could not. I would be glad to offer our customer an option on more tires, to see if we can resolve the issue.

Customer Response • Jun 30, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
If you're confused by the story, imagine how confused I was when trying to explain that I did nothing wrong to people who only wanted to call me a liar. I understand that the story seemed far fetched, and honestly if the tables were turned I wouldn't believe it either. Although, I can say without doubt or waver that I would have dealt with the issue in a much different way.

You did say I could keep the tires, but only if I would admit to something I didn't do. The fact that you, an owner of a franchise, would rather argue with the a customer and repeatedly call me a liar than resolve the issue amicably is remarkable. Instead, the tires were repossessed, 3 of my rims were dented, rotor dust shield pinched against the rotor, and lug nuts rounded of on the one rim they couldn't remove due to it having security lugs. Coincidentally, the one rim they didn't remove was the only one that wasn't dented.
Somehow, I'm sure you will find a way to say I did all of these things too.

You stated that RNR strives for complete customer satisfaction. To that I can say you truly succeeded. I doubt Larry S. meant that you push customers to your competition in order to get that satisfaction, but to each his own. Because of the way you and your employees handled the situation, I ended up going to Discount Tire. The brand new tires that I bought cost less than your pre-leased tires, and the money I saved on the tires allowed me to purchase 3 new rims.

In my original statement I simply asked that you treat your customers better as a satisfactory resolution to this issue. However; I fear my words will fall on deaf ears. I wish you the best and nothing but continued success in your future.

Rent-N-Roll Response • Jul 10, 2020

WE appreciate the response form our customer. There are two sides to every story, ours was validated from investigated facts. We absolutely do extend every means to make our customers feel their issue is resolved and our reputation in this market reflects this. As our customer stated, wishing us success in the future, we wish him likewise success. I'd even buy him lunch at his convenience to discuss, shake hands and repair a relationship.

These people over at the Arlington location ( which for whatever reason does not appear on here) took $153.46 out of my checking account illegally.
I was buying tires from the Arlington location but had to stop and couldn't take the tires back because I have no tag on my truck and they wanted me to give them the tires along with my rims then they were going to hold my rims. Then today after they were told I would return the tires as soon as I got a tag back on my truck they took $153.46 from my account without any type of approval written or verbal from me then he said he'll give me my money back once I bring the tires back...he is blackmailing me to get his tires back.

Desired Outcome

I want all of my money returned from the time i got the tires due to illegal practices and constant harassment by them calling over 5 times a day from business phones and their own cell phones.

Rent-N-Roll Response • Jun 22, 2020

This isnt one of our locations . We have Franchise stores in Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. I dont know why I am on this email roll .

I was on a automatic payment plan every 2 weeks, it was fine at first but then they were stealing money from my account
I bought a used set off rims and tires they were in ruff shape but they were what I needed. At first the automatic payment was set up wrong instead of every 2 weeks it was every week finally got that fixed and was going smooth until I noticed a $58 charge my payment is $105 so I asked them about it they said it must be my bank..so I call my bank and they said no way. Then another $58 came out on overdrafted my account so I called them they said they don't see it and I owe them a payment. Then $198 came out so now I'm mad I call them they say I'm on auto pay I tell them the cant take what they want thats stealing!!! And they say I still owe them a payment I told them I'm not paying anything until they fix it and remove me from auto pay. I called my bank and locked them out. They kept calling and harassing me until Ace called me and said they found that the money was going into someone else's account that they are send me a refund. So I unlocked them from the bank and they sent me the money. So I thought it was fixed but no they took $105 and next day another $105 and now today 6/20 another $105 on my off pay week and has overdrafts my account again I was supposed to be removed from auto pay so how can this be... also I owed around $400 through all of this that amount never changed it has been about 6 months this is stealing plane and simple!!!

Desired Outcome

I am done with them the rims and tires should be paid in full ... I don't owe them anything and all the overdraft fees I had to eat

Rent-N-Roll Response • Jun 23, 2020

Mr.,
I want to start by apologizing for the billing issue. I want to get this corrected for you.
I want to assure you no one is stealing from you.
The automatic payment program is an automated system that will process payments on the scheduled due dates.
Once the store was notified of the billing issue the charges you disputed were refunded. If you can provide the overdraft charges we will also refund those as well.
All your payments are accounted for through a computer system. If the account is still active it is because the agreed upon amount has not been paid in full.
If you feel you have paid this account in full we will need to compare your payment records to ours. Any payment discrepancies on the part of RNR will be applied to your account.
Again I am very sorry about this billing issue. I will work to get it fixed as quickly as possible.

Customer Response • Jun 23, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I asked to be removed from the auto pay I was told I was removed. Also on a Facebook someone tried to make it out to be my fault saying if I had troubles with making my payment I should have called. First of all I never had problems making my payment I had problems with you taking unauthorized payments and blaming my bank!! And its still happening. for example my auto pay should have come out this Friday or Saturday but it came out last week and the week before they took a payment on Saturday and another on Monday so with in a 10 day period they took $315 I call and get a run around. We need to call this a wash I'm very disappointed this time around I didn't have any problems in the past with the st pete store.

Rent-N-Roll Response • Jun 29, 2020

Mr.,
The Store Manager is willing and able to refund any unauthorized charges that have been made to your credit card. We are also willing to refund any overdraft fees caused by those charges.
Any refunded charges to your credit card will also be removed from your customer account. Your account is no longer on auto pay and your credit card has been removed.
I am very sorry about this miscommunication and we will get these billing issues fixed.

Customer Response • Jun 30, 2020

Customer Response • Jul 16, 2020

They just need to close my account...after being Harassed, calling me a lier, blaming everyone else and overdrafting my bank account twice.this has been the worst experience with a company that I ever had.. the only one worth a *** is Ace he is the one who found the problem

Harassment for payment
I got my tires through RNR and was making full payments on them then the coronavirus hit and I'm still out of work. I told them this. They started calling me and texting me daily then it moved to them calling and texting me several times a day wanting paid! It got to be so much stress and so many calls and texts that I had to block them on my phone! Now they are going by my mom's house looking for me and wanting her to pay them! This is plum harassment! They come after you like they are the police!

Desired Outcome

I want my old tires back and they can have their piece of *** generic tires back! This harassment is not worth having nice new tires put on my car!

Rent-N-Roll Response • Jun 08, 2020

Here at RNR Tire Express , we are a company that leases to own tires and wheels.Since we are a leasing company , the consumer is not in a credit binding agreement. It is an agreement that it agreed upon by both parties, the consumer and RNR. Its set up on weekly/bi-weekly/simi monthly or monthly payments that is comfortable to the consumer. The" pay as you go" is that when they pay for a certain amount of time, lets say weekly, then at the end of that period, or week then the agreement is up for renewal , which with a payment renews that agreement for the amount or time they paid. One the consumer makes all the payments for the specific term stated on the agreement, the consumer owns the product. The consumer does not attain ownership until the terms have been completed. They can pay I off through the terms or pay it off early with a 50% discount for early pay off.
*** had contacted the store she received the tires from and stated she could not make payments as she was laid off due to Covid. RNR said we would work with her through this time as much as possible, as we did with a lot of customers in this difficult time. It had come to our attention that we hadnt had any contact with *** since, so the store called and tried to get in contact with her. She never called back, so they used text to try to get in contact with her and get some upddated info on her situation. No text back, as we do and tell our customers, if we need to contact a customer we do so by phone calls, texts or go out to customers house. We never got any contact back from her, so we didnt know any now updated info.So we went out the address *** gave us as her address and tried to contact her there. No contact so we left a door knocker stating we came by. She then contacted the store and told us to never go to her moms house and harass her she has nothing to do with her account. She was still laid off, no money and we would get paid when she had money and not before, to quit harnessing her and her mom. Thats when she filled this complaint. The address we went to was the exact one she put on our paper work as her address. The store tried one last time to contact her and as she block our number, but this time she answered. The store talked with her and came up with a solution that she was going to try to come up with a an amount to pay on her account. Told her we would work with her, but we needed communication from her to be open, as that would tie our hands.
I myself contacted her and talked with her and came up that we would wait for her to come up with some money for a payment in the next could of weeks, and that I needed her to keep in contact, communication with the store every week to let us know the status, We will work with her. I also told her we went to the address she gave us, and she stated she lives there along with her mother. I told her we wouldn't call or text , as she stated harnessing amounts if she would contact us back or communicate with us. So we came up with the solution to help her out, as we do with our customers, as RNR Prides itself with customer relations. She was fine with that, as she stated with the store early.

I purchased a set of four wheels. They do not fit.
I purchased a set of wheels from this company for my 2019 Tesla model 3. I was told they would fit my vehicle no problem. I purchased just the wheels and wanted them put on by a preferred Tesla installer. I took my time doing research on which tires I wanted and it took almost a month to get the tires in due to the covid-19 delivery delays. My tires finally come in after almost a month of waiting. I took my vehicle in and when they tried to put my wheel on my car it would not slide on. The issue is the holes on the wheels are not big enough for my car. I called and they told me they would have me come in and see what they can do to get them on. I am sorry, but I do not want them putting my car on a lift and messing with it now when I didn't want them to do it in the first place. The wheels have never been used one was taken out of the box the rest are still sealed. I was told they would not give me my money back and that if they couldn't get it to fit, then they would find me different wheels which I do not want either. I am very disappointed in their service. I will make sure to post this everywhere I can.

Desired Outcome

I would like to give the wheels back which are in perfect condition and I would like my money back. I am very disappointed in this company.

Rent-N-Roll Response • May 19, 2020

Mr.,
I apologize your purchase did not work out for you. I spoke with the Bradenton Florida store manager about your issue.
We both agree if the product has not been used we can issue a full refund.
The store manager will contact you about your return.
I hope this resolves your complaint.
Thank You.

Customer Response • May 20, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I appreciate the response. I do really like the wheels they just don't work. I will be taking them back to the store on 5/21/2020.

They lost my tires and rimsI had tires rented from r and r and my vehicle tore up so I could no longer pay for them. They agreed to take my old tires and put them on my rims for me and when I went to get them they said they dont have them anymore. I have left over 50 messages to the corporate office in which says I would be called back the same day and never call me back. My vehicle involved is financed and the loan company is going to hold me accountable for their tires and rims being gone.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I qant my tires qnd wheels they took from my house that do not belong to them. This is theft of my property

This company is harassing people by text message who have never done buisness with them.
I received a group text message from this company who was attempting to collect a debt which does not belong to me. If they would have called, I could have informed them they have the wrong number and that I have never done buisness with them. Instead, they send out a group message giving my number out to a bunch of random people. What makes matters worse is that you can not opt out of a group text message so these people people can keep responding to this message for days all the while causing me harrasment not only from them but from everyone who responds to that group message. They need to stop harassing innocent people who have nothing to do with that debt. Sending out group text messages to try and collect on a debt is untheical buisness practice as it invades my life and privacy.

Desired Outcome

I would greatly appreciate this business not contacting me any further. As I have said before, I have never done buisness with this company.

My phone number is the same I listed in the complaint. I can add screen shots if you would like. I assume that the Abilene store doesn't use an automated message platform because they replied in the message if the person didn't pay they would consider it theft. What automated messaging system does that.

Ms. is referencing a store in Abilene. our franchise operates in TN, GA, NC and SC. I think that this complaint has reached the wrong franchise. If Ms. can confirm that she is having an issue with a store in Texas we would be able to direct this issue to the appropriate franchise. I also believe this is why we could not find her number in our system.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
When originally completing my complaint I chose the Abilene,Tx location from the choices provided, so I am not sure why it was forwarded to the wrong location. As stated before I am talking about the Abilene,Tx location. I live in south Carolina not in Texas.

RnR caused damage to my car sent it to their shop an they "Mechanic" said it was nothing wrong with it. the same day I brought in a quote with damages
Somewhere In January Or Feburary I went to RnR to get a set of tires an rims. They put a set of rims on that yes I agreed To get. A couple weeks later, I'm Driving down the highway in My 2006 Lincoln Zephyr an my Front Right Rim an tire Flys off. I Called RnR. An Explained the situation an they told me that I needed to get the car back to Gulgport so I Had to pay to get the car fixed an I had to still drive it from Mobile to Gulfport Ms. When I get back they reimbursed me the money it costed to get my car towed to the shop an the amount it took to get fixed. After I made it back to Gulfport an start driving my car around I Notice it wasnt driving the same so I took it back up there an they said that the rims couuld be to big, so I swap rims to a smaller size. (Not williing to put the money I paid for the old ones towards my new ones. So I had to start all the way over. Shortly after having the new rims I realize my car still isnt driving the same. So I take my car to the car lot I got my car from an also get my car repaired to get them to check my car out to make sure it was nothing major or anything that couldve happened when my tire flew off. After they took a look at it they gave me an estimate on my repairs an I had a bad control arm, Ball Joints, an It also messed up my rotor from it hitting the ground when the tire fell off. I Then took the car back to RnR to show them the estimates an what went on when my tire came off an Chris the manager told me they would get it looked at across the rold at Delta Tire Shop on hwy49 So I drop my car off an come back when they say its ready an he tell me straight up that they didnt see anything wrong with any of the things that were on the estimate. on 5/6/2020 I ended up getting it fixed myself because I Have A 8month old baby an I Cant drive her around in a car that has a possibility to fall apart while driving. I aslo Have Body Damage that Estimate repair it Almost 1400 dollars. When I went into the shop to tell Chris what was going on yesterday he simpily asked me " What is it that I want him todo". So I asked him for cooperate number an left out.

Desired Outcome

I will Like the money for my repairs that was caused on there end an I would like My Fender fixed on my car.

Complainant received a check for his vehicle repairs. The matter is settled.

I had a lot of ups and downs with this company but with the help of the regional manager he made things good. Was still able to keep my lifetime alignment and rotation, as well as insurance on the tires in case of an accident after all the aggravation occurred. There was a lot of miscommunication with the local store and I have decided to use another store outside of my town for my future business needs. If you go with RNR Tire I recommend always looking at your contract and pay over the phone or in store if you do the 6 months same as cash. Thank you John L. for all your help in this situation.

I will never recommend these people. I went 12/31/2019 for new tires. Called around to get a quote. The guy said "I can get you in 4 new tires for under $800 with 6 months same as cash". Okay cool. He said I could be in and out in 30 minutes. I was there for 4 hours. I even ordered a pizza. Hope to the paper work. A guy sat down and tumbled on about all this great stuff that comes with the tires then says "you'll owe $1400 in 6 months" I told him he better take those tires back because you told me under $800 in 6 months. "Oh oh I forgot I spoke with you earlier. Yeah let me uh change that". Should have known then. They asked me if I wanted to pay online. Yes I do it's easier. They didn't tell me if I pay online only a portion of my payment goes to my actual tires. I decide to pay them off early and make a $377 Payment. I realized I paid about $20 over and didn't care. I called to confirm my account was paid in full and that little boy continues to tell me I owe $290 and I shouldn't have been paying online and continued to spit out that if I would have called in I wouldn't owe this amount. I told him "y'all have $777 of my money and my contact that I am currently holding states $755, 6 months same as cash". Of course Wednesday's are manager meeting days. It take two days to get a district manager on the phone after calling multiple stores to get his number. He told me my final pay off balance is $134 because "well you get lifetime rotation and balance and alignment and those are the fees that's covered it". I finally agree to pay and called the store back and once again they tell me my balance is $290. I have to yell and they finally say "oh I see that the DM put in your file $164". At this point I'm so mad I can't breathe and just pay it. I don't trust them not to try and turn me over to collections so I've called every week to make sure my account is closed "oh yeah yeah you're good. You've got nothing to worry about". NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I asked if I still have lifetime rotation and alignment "yeah till the end of the year". This business is a joke and they try to screw you over in every way.

Rent n roll installed tires and rims on my car that do not fit properly and are a danger to my safety but told me the wheels would and do fit.
4/17/2020 I went to rent and roll to get new tires and rims for my Mercedes e500. My tires were too worn and my rims were scuffed and scratched. I told the sales rep that I wanted to get wheels and tires and would like to get size 18" or 19" wheels. The sales rep tells me that the lug pattern of my car is 5x112 and they only had a limited supply of wheels in that size in the store. Told me that none of the select wheels were those sizes but showed me the wheels they had and were certain that they were not to big and could go on my vehicle. Out of the four wheels shown to me 3 were size 22" and one was size 20". He insisted that the 22" in wheels would look good on my car. I brought the point up that they might not fit properly but he ensured me that they would. I start filing the lease agreement on my phone and rent and roll starts the install. Prior to finalizing the lease agreement, I step outside of Rent and Roll and see their technicians cutting away part of my suspension components. Sparks are flying. Immediately, I go inside and ask why are they cutting parts on my car and why didn't they get my consent to do so. I then told them that I do not want them to cut parts on my car and if the tires aren't going to fit properly, I do not want to get them. They proceeded to install the wheels. The manager comes to me and tells me that he needs me to sign and finalize my agreement on my phone. I tell him not until the wheels are installed and are a proper fit. Thirty minutes or more passes before the technicians pull my car out of the shop and within that time, the manager, again, tells me he needs me to sign the agreement. The technicians tells me that the tires are installed and fit and to be sure he would test drive it around the block. He comes back and tells me all is good. The manager tells me for liability reasons he needs me to sign the documents and then he could give me my keys, insisting that everything is good and his technician already did a test drive and I am good to go. I e-sign the lease, retrieve my keys and leave rent and roll excited about my tires, heading to the car wash. After washing my vehicle, pulling out the car wash I can hear that the tires are rubbing on my vehicle and I can smell rubber burning. I call rent and roll and they tell me that they would be closing soon but for me to bring them in the following morning and we could discuss things. I take my car home 04/18/2020 I bring my car in to rent and roll at around 11am and I tell the manager that the tires do not fit and are rubbing and before I even finish talking, he interrupts me to say that they are my rims now and there's no more he can do. I tell him no because you guys told me that tires are a proper fit and installed them but they do not fit properly. They are scrubbing and will lead to the tire wearing excessive. They are not safe to drive on bc they may wear out and pop while I'm driving and may cause me to crash. The manager tells me I should have mentioned that yesterday. I said I did and u told me to come in this morning like I did. He told me his not gonna argue with me and for me to leave the store or he would call law enforcement. No one at rent and roll told me that they didn't have a return policy nor is it posted in the store anywhere and it also was not stated on any of the documents that I read and/or filled out..

Desired Outcome

I would like to get some wheels and tires that properly fit my car and are safe to drive on. Based on my experience at this rent n roll location I want a refund and do not want to do business with that location

4-21-2020
On April 17, 2020, the customer came into our location to get custom wheels and tires on his vehicle. After filling out his application, he did not qualify for our in-house payment program. We then offered him a 3rd party alternative application in which he was approved.
He proceeded to work with one of my salespeople to pick out a suitable wheel and tire package for his vehicle. We only had a select few that fit on his vehicle. There was a set of 20" wheels and a couple of 22" wheels that would fit his vehicle. He wanted to put the 22" wheels on his vehicle. He was informed that 20" wheels would be a better fit and that we could get something for him next day, but he was persistent on getting wheels that day. My salesperson did inform him that small modifications would have to be done because the 22" wheel would rub a little bit. He waited until the full install was done before he finalized his agreement with the 3rd party. He returned the next day to pick up his original wheels and tires and said that the wheels were still scrubbing so we had to make a few more modifications to take care of that problem. The customer then tried to just return the wheels and tires because he said that they didn't fit his vehicle. I explained to him that all of our cash sales are final and that we didn't take returns when dealing with a third-party lender. We are willing to downsize to a smaller wheel to satisfy the customer.
I have contacted the 3rd party and worked out an agreement for them to accept a modification to the customer's agreement with them that will allow me to switch the wheels/tires out to a smaller size as the customer has requested herein... as long as this is completed in a timely manner. I have attempted to contact the customer to arrange for the swap out to a smaller wheels/tires and we are awaiting the customer's response.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I was contacted on April 23, 2020 by rent n roll and they told me that they had ordered the wheels in size 20" in. And that the wheels should b in after two or three business days. I am satisfied with that response but certain things in their response to this dispute are not true. I was not told that I was applying for an in-house payment option but told that they did not offer an in house payment option unless paid in full. I also was not informed that the 22in wheels would require modifications to my car nor did I give rent n roll approval to do so. Rent n roll only tried to contact me about this dispute on 4/23/20 and I got in contact with them on the same day.

I went to RNR July 30 and purchased tires, with a 6-12 month agreement. Worst experience ever! I ended up paying almost 3 times the amount for the original price on the tires! When I was late on payment, the manager Edgar showed up to my home 6:14am knocking on my door! Completely unprofessional!!!!! Was 30 days late and I was criminally charged! And get this, They continued to charge my debit card and payments were made until I was arrested!!! Horrible customer service and a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This company completely over charges the everyday people and aggressively threatens their customers!
