Cost me 400 in repairs at a shop for their mess up and could have lost life.
I came in on 04/02/2020 because my springs dropped back down onto my tires after I had rims put onto my car because they only banged my springs up to make the rims fit. So the springs were rubbing onto my tires. When I went to pick my car up I was informed by Derrick the recruiter that my back end was making noises which is was not prior to bringing the car in that I need to go check it out I said ok I will. So on 04/02/2020 I took it to my mechanic and I was told that I only had two lug nuts on my car and my wheel cylinder were banged on and knocked back into placed prior so it caused them to leak. I could have lost my life and gotten into an accident because the people this business had working on my car were not trained to fix my car and should have not been knocking on my wheel cylinders and should have made sure all my lug nuts were on tight. I took my receipt to the store manager Adam and all I get is an apology and a 100 for a reimbursement for the repairs the cost was 392.00. they will not take the full responsibility of their mess up. And only gave me 2 weeks free of payments which is not right. This is not the first time I had issues with them when it came to them with my car. They are very untrained when working on cars and will not take responsibility if I do not get my full reimbursement back the next step I will take is getting a lawyer because I could have lost my life and I had my kids in the car.

Desired Outcome

I want a full reimbursement not just the 100 they gave me

To whom it may concern:
RNR Tires installs and services wheels and tires, we are not an automotive shop. We discovered the issues with her wheel studs and asked her to have the vehicle repaired and bring us the bill so we could reimburse her for the stud repair. Wheel cylinders are part of the braking system of the vehicle, which we did not touch nor damage. Ms. is asking RNR Tires to repair parts of her vehicle that we did not touch. RNR Tire's contacted Low Country Mag and Tire to verify the repairs were completed and to ask if the stud replacement required the wheel cylinder replacement. Low Country verified that the wheel cylinders on the 2004 Buick were leaking and needed to be replaced but were not the fault of RNR. The wheel cylinders are "wear" items and fail over time. We paid for the replacement of the studs, which we damaged, and also gave her two weeks worth of credit on her account. We consider the matter closed.

If they discovered that my studs were broken and missing lug nuts why did they allow me to drive off the lot that could have caused me to get into an accident. That right there is accepting responsibility. They did not discover any issues of studs or lug nuts broken off the car the issues they discovered were a noise in my rear and asked to have that checked out. I have numerous occasions that I have came for a balance and rotate and they have stripped my lug nuts and they have broken my studs and they have ordered new ones and replaced them and never asked me to go somewhere else to have that repaired. I have witnesses on those occasions as well. They did not call Low Country to ask about the repairs that were done. The store manager asked me over the phone to call them and ask about the repairs I called the repair shop myself and they confirmed that RNR did not call at all. The repair shop confirmed that the wheel cylinders were banged back into place to cause the leaking.Which one of the technicians at RNR were banging on my rear to try to get springs or whatever they were doing to try to make the rims fit on my car so they wouldn't rub. Technicians never let any of the managers know anything that happens in the back if something is wrong and let customers drive off the lot until an issue arises. I never had an issue with this company until new management took over and I have been dealing with RNR since they came to Charleston. I had no issues with the wheel cylinders until I brought my car that day.

Customer Response • Apr 21, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The business has not reached out to me about no further action about their actions. As I am aware the store manager no longer works there. I have not received any type of communication from the business of my concerns. I have also continued to make my payments so they don't repossess my rims and tires but every time I call and I mention about the concern they just continue to apologize and nothing else. Something needs to be done about this. They have cost me a lot of money they know that was their fault and they don't want to take responsibility of.

I wasn't able to make a payment because of this pandemic. They called me several times, wanting to collect.
I explained to them that I've been affected by this pandemic, my hours have been reduced drastically that I don't even have enough money for anything, even food. I was informed that I can't use the pandemic as an excuse and that I have to come up with the payment or else my name will be added to their collection list where they will file charges against me. I have been paying then every 2 weeks at $52 , for over a year now, for tires thaat was supposed to cost $650. I don't think they should be able to make threats on people who are hard hit by this covid 19.

Desired Outcome

I don't want to receive any more threatening messages from them, to the point of harassment. I don't want them coming to my house either. I will resume my payments as soon as I can but I'm really down to zero right now.

We appreciate this customer. We also understand that the recent virus has hurt a lot of people and businesses. Our company has been very sympathetic to thousands of customers across our company during this time. We will continue to help any customer that communicates their hardship with us. However, with this customer, the communication as to when the hardship was expected to end was never clear. Additionally, this customers pay history suggest a continuous pattern of delinquent payments prior to this virus hitting the U.S. We have had our Account Manager, General Manager, and Regional Manager attempt to resolve this issue. I have also called and left a voicemail, which was not returned. All of these measures were met with negative results.

We will gladly work with the customer to the best of our ability. The customer has to realize that this cant be indefinite.

Customer Response • Jun 10, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Everytime I speak with someone, they are very rude and wants to collect money I don't have. It's a choice between food and paying them. They don't listen nor empathize with my current condition. As far as late payments before covid, that is not true. I may have been late a couple of times due to illness but I've always made up my payments. I cannot give them a definite answer as to when I can make a payment since I am working 50% and it's just enough to pay rent and buy a few groceries. I'm thankful that the electric company, water, cable, car insurance are deferring payments. Lack of empathy for their customers and being rude when I talk to them is uncalled for. I am already depressed by my situation, I don't need them to add to it. Thank you Revdex.com for following up on my complaint.

Rent-N-Roll Response • Jun 25, 2020

We do realize that this pandemic has hit some worse than others. We are/were sympathetic in this case as well. We extended this customers payment much further than we have most any other customer.

We offered *** a short settlement on her account, which she accepted on 13 June.

We consider this matter satisfactorily closed on our end.

Customer Response • Jun 29, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I made the proposal to pay what I can and close the account. They agreed.

This complaint is actually for the Muskogee, OK location regarding the text message sent from the regional account manager.
I pay for my mothers account as I am the one that wanted to get her new tires on her car. She is disabled and could not afford new tires herself. Due to the COVID-19 virus, I was unable to pay on time but spoke with a representative of the Muskogee, OK location and made an arrangement with the company to make two payments on the 31st which would make my due date the 15th of April.

Today, my mother received the following text message: "This is the regional accounts director and investigator for RNR Tires. Your payment came past due last week which is unacceptable and we choose not to do business like this any longer. So unless you have already contacted my account team and have a commitment, I will give you until the close of business today to either pay or return. If not, you will leave me no other choice than to send my truck to your home or workplace and recover my property! Thank you."

First of all, we were already under a payment plan as this company is supposed to be helping persons that cannot pay during this time. Secondly, this message was rude and overly entitled. My mother is so angry that she is daring someone to step foot on her property with the intent to forcibly removing property that already has a payment arrangement. Finally, so many people are without work right now, as a Property Manager, I understand the need to secure payments and maintain assets, HOWEVER, we have suspended all evictions and are working with our customers during such a trying time. As a company founded on the principle of helping others, RNR should do better.

Additionally, when my mother called RNR for a corporate number, they gave her the number for the account director for this region. As soon as she said "Oh, you're the one that sent the message." He hung up on her. Absolutely HORRIBLE business practices. RNR should train their directors and regional managers on how to properly handle customers. If any of my employees treated our customers such as this, best believe they would be warned or written up. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Desired Outcome

I wish that a member of the corporate office reach out to either myself or my mother regarding this issue.

Rent-N-Roll Response • Apr 02, 2020

I talked with both Ms P and our customer Ms *** and told them that our companys mission has always been, and especialy P had already worked with employees at the Muskogee store and reached a payment agreement that worked for her and Ms ***. I asked the store manager to call both and let them know that she is there to help them and will work with them. Both Ms *** and Ms *** thanked me for the call and indicated that they were happy with my response.

Looks like this is a Louisiana customer. Tracey please forward to the appropriate franchise.

I had went to RNR to get new tires on my car. After hearing the advertisement on the radio time and time again. I trusted that I would get good service. So went ahead to do the 6mths same as cash. Real life happens alot and many times I could only do the minimum payment I would have been down to the last 4 or so payments keeping track of how much I spent.
Was the 3rd to the last payment... I was told I had 179 left to pay. So made a pymt leaving me with 124 balance. Which I planned to do in two final payments. And in the time of those payments another 100$ magically appeared though Brooklyn denied it claiming she had printed out all the phone conversation logs and payments. Stating on today when I would have made my last payment I still had 170 she kept arguing with me. Threatening to send my contract and pymt history to their cooporate office to let collections handle it.
Just a fair warning.... DO NOT GO THERE. They are a terrible business and they will lie to you. And ultimately threaten you. They do not honor the fact that they screwed up.

Worst place ever.
Will never go again nor will I reccomend anyone.

-Sincerely
Angry in Kansas

The tire changer didn't replace the sensor in my tire. It caused the car tire sensor to remain on until I took the car back to the dealership to reset the sensor. However, it hadn't been put back in the tire by RNR. They admit to the mistake, but unwilling to pay the cost I paid to have the sensor replaced. 131.00 out of my picket for they're mistake.

I greatly apologize for any issues you have had at our location. Customer service is definitely a top priority for us. I believe the issue at hand has already been rectified but if there is anything that has not please reach out to me. Again thank you for your business.

I went in to get some tires from RNR in Baton Rouge, LA! When I first got the tires, everything was fine. I ended up having 2 car accidents with the
Tires. They don't want to work with me with my payments. I lost my job because of the accidents and explained to STACY all of my situations and always asked to speak to a manager and Stacy decided otherwise. They have now filed charges against me as if I've stolen the tires when I answer their calls MOST of the time. I can only say I don't have the payment so many times until I have it. I don't actually see what's the point in trying to threaten and ruin someone's life or take away their freedom because of hardships in life. It's not like I haven't communicated or just flat out ignored them. I've been in the store and always speak to Stacy! Even on her personal cell. She told me that I needed to bring in payment recently or she would lose her job, I made a way out of no way to bring the payment so she wouldn't lose her job. They threaten to go to the collision center where my car was to remove my tires and I guess leave my car of the rotors? They have my bank information, card information, social and everything. Why not just send it to a collection's agency instead of pressing charges on me as if I'm a criminal? And if I'm STILL going to have to pay for the tires, which I KNOW I am...why press charges once again? I still have to pay, wether I'm in jail for struggling in life or if it goes to my credit. I just don't understand. This has been my worst experience with a car shop, wether it's tires, maintenance, etc. thanks for everything, you guys are the best :)

Desired Outcome

I would like to work things out and be able to keep my tires and my freedom! I explained And went to store when I founded that I had a nail that required my tire to be replaced and was denied of replacement by Stacy after being told that it would be replaced and was set an appointment to replace the tire and they also special ordered the tire then for Stacy to come and tell me I have to continue to ride with the nail unless I bring in $160 immediately so I was going to have to pay sooner or later because I refuse to ride with a nail and possibly have a blow out and mess my car up for the 4th time in less than a half year's time.

RNR Tire express has charged my credit card on multiple occasions without authorization from me, the cardholder.
RNR Tire express has charged my credit card on multiple occasions without authorization from me, the cardholder.

They were initially given authorization for a one time payment over the phone for $323.64 which posted on July 9, 2019. The account which I made the payment on belongs to *** I do not have an account with RNR.

Good afternoon:

Mr. entered in to our lease to own program. Our signed contracted stated he would make payments on our before his due dates. When we repossessed our merchandise per our signed agreement he was 45 days past due. Mr. then proceeded to call our Spartanburg store 10 times in 30 minutes cursing our staff. We do not want his business and we consider the matter closed.

Thank you

And after paying $847 for 4 tires they said they never told us about the same as cash but they did and it's also kn their website.. I told them to come get em and I was done with their business.See attachment

Desired Outcome

I'm seeking to be done and cut my loss cause they are crooks and rude crooks at that!

On 8/22/2019, the customer came in to purchase a set of tires on our pay as you go program. We set her up on a 12month agreement whit the option to pay out at any time (see attachment). On 1-7-2020, the customer called in to inquire about her payout. The customer then stated that she was supposed to be on a 6month same as cash agreement. The manager informed the customer that we haven't done 6month same as cash since December 2018. The customer was adamant about being on a 6month same as cash agreement. In the attachment you will see that none of the paperwork the customer signed says anything about 6month same as cash. The manager asked the customer to come into the store to further discuss the account and possibly work out an arrangement on the account, but the customer refused. we are willing to help the customer come to a mutually beneficial solution to obtain ownership of the tires.

Customer Response • Jan 29, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The manager who told me about the agreement and was there when I got the tires is no longer an employee of the business, and for them to say they would like to help me obtain ownership is ***, I've paid almost $1000 and never missed a payment until here recently when the woman was rude and ugly towards me, that's when I called andre the new manager and told him how she was calling and being rude. And they did say I could pay em off same as cash cause my husband and o walked out of there talking about how we needed to do that to save some money and get em paid off asap but they keep calling me a lie.. it's even up on their website about the 6 months same as cash

Rent-N-Roll Response • Feb 07, 2020

The website states that "RNR locations are independently owned and operated and may have modified versions of these programs. Please check with the location near you for specific details". Andre has been the manager since 2014. All of our calls are recorded. No one has accused the customer of lying. We have just tried to explain that he/she is mistaken, as the paperwork he/she signed indicates. the original retail out the door price was $832 plus tax and the customer paid $578.66 excluding fees associated with our payment program. However, as a good will gesture, we are willing to accept $253.34 plus tax, which is the difference in the original Retail out the door price and what the customer has paid toward her balance since he/she first entered into the lease agreement on 8/22/2019

Customer Response • Feb 17, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I say let's meet in the middle and I'll pay $125 to own them and be done with this whole situation, especially after dealing with that woman who was rude and nasty to myself and everyone of my references. Andre was very polite and understood when I explained my frustrations but that didn't stop that woman from harassing me and being rude.. Especially since I didn't miss a single payment from the time I started leasing from them. But anyway I think the $700 something dollars plus the $125 more I'm willing to give compenastes them plenty for these tires and their "troubles" If you choose to accept the $125 please have Andre call or text me and not the woman cause I don't wanna deal with her. Ty

Rent-N-Roll Response • Feb 27, 2020

The customer's initial complaint is that she was not able to take advantage of our "Same As Cash" program (which we stopped offering on December 31st, 2018). Out of good will, we last agreed to allow the customer to pay her agreement in full for the amount that would satisfy the initial retail out the door price, even though the customer has been paying over time for this product since her agreement date of 8/22/2019. The offer we made is exactly what the customer asked us to do. Now the customer is asking to pay less than the original retail out the door price. The customer still has not visited the store location to allow the Store Manager to go over the paperwork that was signed on the agreement date. The customer has now posted false and misleading reviews on social media that we view to be unfair. We have made a good faith effort to resolve this issue in a way that the customer originally asked for. We are still happy to extend that offer. The customer is welcome to stop by or call our Store Manager, Andre J. to discuss this issue further

Customer Response • Mar 10, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I havent heard anything from them at all..

I have been renting tires only from this company location for 5 months at the Atlantic Blvd location I'm Jacksonville Florida.
They have never given me a copy of contract or the discount I was promised from being a previous customer. Every time I ask for my contract they give me excuses that oh we don't have it or district manager said I will mail it to you which still has not happened. I don't know how much I owe or the how long the contract is. This has been by far the worse customer service ever. As a disabled veteran my income is limited which is why I did the rent to own. But they refuse to give me my balance, discount for being a previous customer, or a copy of the contract. This has flared my ptsd so much because of the lack of service I get. I feel like I am being discriminated against as well as harassed about payment including threats from their account rep they will leave me On blocks. I tried to call and work things out but they don't even put notes in system of talking to me and continue to harass me even though I have a commitment. I hate this company and never will do business with them again.

Desired Outcome

I do not want to make anymore payments as they should just pay them off for the constantly lies they tell me. Also I will not allow them to take my tires. If this company can't resolve and just pay my tires off then I will be contacting a lawyer and local news station about doing business with liars and theives. Also I will be exposing them of how they refuse to get a contract for customer cause obviously they are trying to steal extra money from me

Mr., my name is Jon *** and I am the Regional Manager for RNR Tire Express. You and I spoke about your account on 11/21/2019 and you brought these issues up to me at that time. We agreed that I would free time your account for the month of November which I did and you did not have to make a payment for that month. We moved your due date to the 1st of each month because you requested that date due to the fact that you were on a fixed income and that date would work with your specific checks. You requested a copy of your agreement which was mailed to you on 11/22/2019. You also stated that we were not calling you on the right phone number which we updated in the system. We agreed that this would take care of your issues. You stated in your Revdex.com complaint that you still have not received a copy of your agreement and that was delivered to you today 1/15/2020 and given to you in person by our Account Manager. I specifically discussed your payment and the amount you owed on 1//22/2019 discussion but now you have your agreement to review. You stated in your current complaint that you did not receive a discount for being a returning customer, which you never brought this to my attention before. RNR Tire Express does not offer a returning customer discount so I am not sure why you believe you should have received one. You also stated in this current complaint that you have made commitments and that we do not put them in notes. You made a commitment on January 7th to pay your bill January bill on January 10th. You missed that commitment and have not answered our phone calls. Your account is currently past due by 14 days. RNR's ultimate goal is to help every customer obtain ownership of their purchase. So keeping with this motto, I am willing to work with you and provide you a solution that might help since you are on a fixed income. Currently, you owe $508.80 to us to pay off by February 25th to take advantage of your 6 months same as cash deal. I would be willing to cut that in half and you make us a one time payment of $250.00 by 2/1/2020 and we will close the account out as paid in full. If this is acceptable to you then let us know and we will notate your account and expect payment on or before 2/1/2020. If this is not acceptable then we will revert back to the original agreement terms.

This customer began an agreement with us on July 30, 2019. On December 28th 2019 she contacted our store. We apologized to her for any potential issue and informed her that her signed contract and insurance was in her file at the store and that we are unaware of any potential breach of customer information. The customer then spoke to our regional manager on January 7th. Our regional manager confirmed the same information as our store manager, and again offered apologies for any potential issue. He then personally verified that both customers mentioned had signed agreements and insurance information in their files at the store. After receiving notice of this complaint by our customer, we reached out to both customers in an attempt to gather all of the information to assess the situation, but have not been able to reach either customer regarding this matter. Both of the customers' contracts are in their respective files at our store. We cannot confirm with certainty that the customer's information was shared by our team members, or in our store. Our customers privacy is important to us and we would be happy to speak with this customer directly to resolve this issue.

I purchase tires from RnR on 6/18/2018 account #XXXXXXXXXX account manager Doc Pierson. I asked on 12/23/2019 on the phone for (the third request), the balance on my account and how much I need to pay to close my account. In a text message I was told $78.01. I only paid my usual biweekly payment of $58.00 on my debit card over the phone. 8 day later I get a text telling me it's time to make another payment. I asked again what is the payment just to make sure my math is right on 12/30/19,I was told $84.00. My debit card was ran (3) times without my authorization on 01/11/2020 for 35.64, $35.64 and $20.70 by RnR tires. My debit card was also ran previously by RnR tires without my authorization on 12/20/2019 for $52.12 twice.

Desired Outcome

I want the correct pay off amount which should be $16.00 of what was left after I paid the $58.00 on 12/23/2019 and i want the account closed.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I am totally accept the response because it's exactly what I have been trying to do for several months. I felt like I was being taken advantage of. I have been trying to pay this account off and close it for months and it's finally closed! Thank you.

Money stolen by RNR of Tampa on an account that was closed a month ago.
I returned my wheels to RNR around December 14th after making a $200.00 payment on the 9th. The morning of Sunday January 5th RNR drafted $203.41 out my account causing $144.00 in overdrafts. I contacted the manager Joe at the Brandon Florida location on Monday January 6th and he stated it was an accident and that someone didn't do their job. He advised he would get it corrected immediately. The very next evening, not only did I not get my money back, I got charged ANOTHER $212.09. So now I haven't had their wheels in almost a month and I'm out $559.50.

Desired Outcome

I demand a full refund and a letter from RNR stating that it was their error so I may give it to my bank as this situation looks very bad on me as a small business owner to my bank

Mr. and Mrs.,

I Believe we resolved this issue on 1/8. Please let me know if there is anything further you needed.

Thank you Matt K.

My payments have been scheduled wrong constantly. I'm getting Constant harassing text messages and phone calls throughout the day. Lies about when due
I went to RnR back in February of 2019 to rent to own tires and rims. It has been *** from the time I signed the lease. When they put the rims on my car, and gave it back to me it started leaking oil from how they lifted it..so I had to take it back to my dealer and I was without a car for three days. When I signed the lease agreement I said I wanted to make payments every two weeks...they agreed to it ..but then not even a full week later, I started getting text messages and calls saying I was late and my lease will be expiring ( I wasn't late) So I called and said hey, somethings not right..it's saying I'm late but I paid on time...the guy tells me "Oh sorry, for some reason they had you on weekly payments. This happened three times! These people call me five to six times a day, not including the four to five text messages threatening that it'll be in my best interest to call. Then just recently I made a payment of $200.00 the sales rep at Gladstone named George said okay, tell me when your next payday is so we can get you back on track...I let him know, and he "sets me up"..everything was fine and quite until my SCHEDULED upcoming payment which was December 14th. I received a courtesy text the day before, and then one on the day of stating my payment is due the 14th... granted I was late on my payment and I called to make arrangements...This is when George tells me I'm more than one payment behind! And tells me if I don't come up with at least $250..he's going to start repossession process (mind you, I'm not even a week late!) so I tell him hey, I don't know where you got this number when you asked me when my next scheduled payday was, and that the courtesy text message corresponds with what I owe Which is ONE payment!...we were going back and forth for about five minutes..and I say George I can give $100 today (December 19, 2019) and the remaining past due The up coming Tuesday. He proceeds to tell me that's not good enough...that I either bring in $250 or else...another five minutes of arguing and he says are you bringing the $100? I said why the *** would I bring you $100 now if you're going to go ahead and repossess the rims that you can't wait until Tuesday for me to pay in full! Then he switches up his story and says "Well, you won't be late late if you bring in the $100" in which I respond "Um! So you're saying if I bring in the $100 today, you'll let me pay the balance Tuesday and not go through with the repossession?" In which he replies yes! So, fustruated I asked them what the *** was this whole argument and harrassment about just now??? He had NO response! This company is the worst company I've ever leased from. I feel like they're lying about how much I owe, and I also feel like they try to use harassment and intimidation to get money from you. I've never eluded them, if I can't make the payment I call them, and make arrangements on when I can..I've never gone over a week and a half without making a payment. I've been paying on these tires for Almost a year now. I want the harassment to stop. I want my total payment left on this lease cut in half due to the three days my car was in the shop ( OH and my tire sensors haven't worked sense they put the tires on, I would like payment deduction from that as well) and the stress from the harassment and intimidation. I have documentation of all text messages and phone calls, as well as the document that my car was in the shop because of this.

Desired Outcome

I would like my remaining balance cut in half, in which I will pay in full the other half so that I can end my contract with this company. I also want the constant phone calls and text messages to stop.

I went in to purchase tires from this company, the gentlemen I worked with was nice. They advertise 6 months same as cash so of course I selected to go with this option. The person told me that to make things more convenient they could take out a minimum payment every 2 weeks directly from my debit card and I agreed to this. My payment was a down payment of roughly $58 and then every 2 weeks they would pull out a payment of a little over $56, so 9 months in and still pulling payments including an extra 1 as there was a 3 bi weekly payment pay period. I contacted them and asked why they were pulling $$$ out of my account still my 6 months was up and I paid more than my total bill of around $616 for 4 tires. They told me that it was in the contract that if we do minimum withdrawals the total amount would be different. To me their lies and failure to inform me of this detail should be illegal and extortion. my pathetic $616 tires was going to cost roughly $1800 which is flat out theft. This practice should be flagged as a bad business especially after reading other reviews where the other customers were just as disgusted as me. This is a horrible business practice and I owned my own business and never in my life would I screw people out of money like this, this is horrible. Long story short I had sold the car and they found the car and took the tires off at the school where the kid attended. I understand by the contract they had this right as I stopped making payments roughly $1000 into the plan but this business practice should be illegal and shut down, if you advertise 6 months same as cash then the deal should be 6 months same as cash. I will never recommend or return to this theft hole and I will do everything in my power to expose the extortion scheme this horrible business is running, simply vile.
Product_Or_Service: 4 new tires with installation

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi They can die!!!!!

Customer failed to honor the contract. He skipped without any communication. *** signed his initial contract on 10/08/2018. August 23, 2019 was the last date that he made a payment on his account. We had made numerous attempts to contact him which included phone, text, visits to his home and work, but to no avail. He simply did not communicate to us. A company representative repossessed the property off of the vehicle. Per the contract that he signed, on the first page where he initialed under ASSIGNMENT it states "You may NOT sell, mortgage, pawn, pledge, encumber, hock, or dispose of the property. You may not install the property on another vehicle withour our consent. If you do, you will have breached this lease, and we will have the immediate right to possession of the property. We may sell, transfer, or assign the lease without notice to you".

On the Lease Statement of Disclosure page, second paragraph from the bottom, which he initialed, it states "Please note that making the minimum required lease payment will not he sufficient to satisfy the 180 Day Purchase Option. In order to acquire ownership using the 180 Day Purchase Option, you must pay rent equal to the Cash Price for the Property Listed on the Lease Agreement. The only portion of your payment that goes toward your 180 Day Purchase Option is the rent portion. Initial customer charges, insurance and sales tax do not reduce the amount required to satisfy the 180 Purchase Option".

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Their failure to tell me that if the minimum payment was made that it would result in a much much larger cost for the tires is an absolute scam and absolutely absurd. They are crooked and liars and businesses like this do NOT deserve to be open. Their failure to inform the purchaser is an absolute sham and I have never witnessed a more shady practice, I will never accept their responses and could care less what they have to say as far as I am concerned they are 1 of the most disgusting businesses on the planet and I truly hope they fail for their lies and horrible business tactics, I wish them nothing good, hey can go screw themselves

Went in with the understanding 6 months same as cash and no added interest as long as they wheels/tires are paid in full before the end of the 6 month agreement. I asked before signing the contract what the price would be and if this was my cheapest option. The sales manager assured me that it was and if I wanted to look at paying in full or a payment plan that the tires would then be more. I passed on that because who in their right mind wants to pay more than needed. I received my bill totaling around $1500 for 4 wheels and 4 tires (keep in mind lowest possible price I was assured) after that not sitting well and doing my own research I find am being charged a 50% mark up on each wheel. The wheels they suggested run for $115 anywhere online or in store with free shipping ....they are charging $205 each when I asked what the mark up was, I was informed it was due to my payment plan. None of this was mentioned at the time of the contract or purchasing. I then have another manager brake down the pricing and tells me that I really owe $1600+ and not the original $1500+ that I was quoted. so already in one day and the installation hasn't even began the price of my contract went up. I questioned the price and was told if I paid out right they would discount my price down to $1200's. As a customer I feel scammed and its too late now as they are mid install. I was also informed that the 1600+ still isn't my final balance as I am required to pay for their roadside assistance $13 weekly... you do the math I'm going to end up paying close to $1800 and my insurance already includes roadside. I was not told of all these hidden fees and now after doing more research it seems I am not the only one who has been swindled. Seems to be the overall tone of the company. BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES AND "PROGRAMS"

First I want to thank you for trusting with your tire needs! Second I want to thank you for providing honest feedback . Hearing from our valued customers is extremely important to us , as it is the only way we can get better at serving our valued customers.

As for the misquote we could make that adjustment from the $1,600 to the original $1,500 if that was what you were quoted. The General Manger can make that adjustment.

Apparently, we missed the opportunity to properly explain the additional fees that you mentioned in your letter so I would like to take a moment and explain them to you .

First you have a $4 per week for our Lifetime Alignment Plan . This plan will cover every alignment adjustment for as long as you own those tires and the car they are on . Around the market, you will see alignments from $59 to $99 depending on the vehicle . Odds are, that you may need at least 4 alignments over the next 3 years . Since you are only paying $4 per week ,if you take the six months to pay the tires off , you will have paid $104 for the Lifetime Alignment Plan . Other Tire stores charge as much as $199 for a Lifetime plan such as this .
And if you pay off your agreement prior to the six months you will pay even less than the $104 .
Actually, we consider this one of our best Value added services . Your initial alignment adjustment if you were to have paid cash up front ,would have been $59.99 BTW .
Manufactures and Tire Associations highly recommend an alignment any time you replace tires and alignment check every six months or 6 thousand miles .

I hope you agree that, this in fact is an awesome value , however if you don't, once you have paid enough to equal the amount for initial adjustment (59.99)
We can eliminate that charge from future payments . That being said I would highly recommend completing the agreement and enjoy the Lifetime Alignment privileges.

Second, the other charge is for ROAD HAZARD PROTECTION . This will replace any of your tires that are damaged beyond repair due to a ROAD HAZARD , such as Pot Holes , large object in road , ETC.
Unlike most ROAD HAZARD coverages from other tire dealers , ours is not prorated !! Regardless of Tread wear use, you get a brand new tire for a $10 co -pay for as long as you have an active agreement . Statistics indicate at least one of your tires will incur ROAD HAZARD ISSUE .
Actually, we have received much national recognition for offering the best Protection packages in the industry .

I apologize if these benefits were not properly explained at the time you purchased your tires . Often times, our associates get busy and leave out important details of our CUSTOMER CARE PACKAGE .

In closing , neither of these programs are mandatory , however we highly recommend them to everyone as we believe they represent true value for our valued customers.

Should you wish to remove these from future payments , simply ask the General Manager and he will take care of you .

Our mission is to Serve you , not just provide service .

In closing I want to thank you again for trusting us to be your choice for tires and I sincerely hope we can earn your business for all of your future tire needs .

This customer opened an agreement with us on 5/10/19. On 9/14/19 the customer made a regularly scheduled payment. He did not make another regular payment after that. On 10/7/19 we contacted the customer and he agreed to pay a final payment amount, scheduled for 10/10/19. He did not fulfill this commitment. On 11/22/19 the final payment amount agreed upon was made, and his account with us was closed.
The customer indicated he had sold his vehicle, but never mentioned an accident, or the vehicle being wrecked or totaled.
We strive to offer great customer service, and work with customers when issues arise.
