I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Rescue One CEO contacted me on oct 18 he only asked me who was the person that contacted me in 2012 and I told him the name he then said I will investigate this and call you right back, to this date oct 22 he has never called back .

We are a bit confused at the clinet is still enrolled in our program and getting out of debt. Is there some other solution they would like?

I am very thankful for the help to get us out of debt.

Rescue One Lending INC helped me immensely to get on the path to financial independence. My counselor at Rescue told me that I could manage my debt in a number of different ways and that I did have options. I found that there was a possibility that I could qualify for a unsecured consolidation loan which would afford me a way to pay back my creditors at a much lower interest rate and at a faster pace than I had been paying them at that time. I knew my eligibility for this loan was not guaranteed. To qualify it depended on my credit score, loan amount, loan term and my credi history. Much to my amazement, I was approved for a 60 month low interest consolidation loan and within two business days the money was in my bank account ready to pay my creditors. The staff at Rescue One Lending INC are outstanding, they care about their clients and they are extremely knowledgeable. What is amazing is they are available even now when I have a question, no question is too silly and they don't forget you. I am so glad I found Rescue One Lending INC.

I don't know who is responding to this complaint, everything stated is false. My problem is with Rescue One Financial not Freedom Debt Relief.. Rescue One sent me a mailer that offered a consolidation loan.I applied for the loan online was denied the loan and was called by an agent of Freedom, they said it was a debt resolution program. by signing with this program my whole world of credit and credit scores were horribly damaged until the year 2020. I seriously believe this is a typically a Bait and Switch maneuver. If I had not gotten the mailer from them I would not be in this situation. They bring you in with false promises and switch you to another company with a program that you really don't know, and the results are not good. I want to know if Rescue One sold my info to Freedom or that they are in fact the same companies. To resolved this I think Rescue One should pay the balance of the loan which is 20,300.dollars. I think it is only fair they pay it because of the hell they put us through with this whole situation.

I have never spoken to anyone at Rescue One Financial, this company continues to lie about the whole situation. They did a Bait and Switch manuver when I applied for a consolidation loan online from Rescue and ended up with a Debt Management Program from Freedom. My problem is that I was coned by these companies into a program that I was led to belief was a Consumer Credit Counseling Program. I have not spoken to anyone at Freedom lately, they are responding to a certified letter I send the CEO's and to the VP of customer service. I have not spoken to them multiple times as they state. lies lies and more lies. I have paid over 20,000 dollars to these scammers and still owe them over 20,000 more, for what, frauds, I want them to admit that they mislead me with lies, and false promises. I dont have aymore money to send these con artists, I might have to get help from Legal Aide attorney's since it seems Im up against really smart con artists.

Bait-and-switch mailer: "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE BEEN PRE-SELECTED FOR A LOAN UP TO $37,500". I need to re-finance and consolidate $24,000 credit card debt at a lower interest-rate. Upon calling the number on the mailer, it was determined that I am ineligible to do that (despite none of my accounts having been delinquent for the last 9 years), but I could enter a Debt Resolution/Reduction Program, which would withhold payments to all my creditors to, in effect, persuade them to settle for partial payments of my outstanding balances. This is totally different from what was being promoted by their mailer: "bait-and-switch".

We got your fax today and we are providing proof that we refunded this individual AND he cashed the check. The scariest part of all of this is that this individual, [redacted], was never a client of ours and he has been a constant pain and threat to our business. Out of pure generosity, I offered to give home 1 years’ worth of identity protection which is what this $329 is for. He then has the audacity to try and blackmail us for more money because we do in fact care about our Revdex.com rating.

This guy is nothing short of a con artist and we feel that this complaint should be removed from our profile in total. I wonder how many other complaints [redacted] has filled with the Revdex.com? Anyway, we did what we said we would do and he is just plain nuts.

Founder/Co-CEO | Rescue One Financial

I cannot express how overly satisfied I am with this company. From my first contact with my helper, Sandra S, to weekly/monthly updates I receive from Rescue One. Everything they explained to me about my account from day one until now has happened. And they have been extremely helpful when I needed additional information or advice. A really great, helpful company. Highly recommended!!!!

We reached out to Ms. [redacted] on 10/20/14 and explained to
her that she enrolled in to a Debt Management plan and never qualified for a
personal unsecured loan. I apologized for the misunderstanding but she has been
enrolled in our program for over 2 years. We have settled...

with 6 of her
creditors saving her $20,987 in total from when she enrolled two years ago. She
is still currently enrolled in our program and seems to be happy with the results.
We do offer a few different programs for people facing large amounts of debt
and not everyone qualifies for all of them.

Please note I was called by Rescue one financial ( the company I filled complaint against ) and they solved my problems.
I believe solutions the company offered me was satisfied for me and want to discard my complaint
Thank you very much

I was reading some of these negative reviews which is unfortunate because I had an entirely different experience. I had been financially struggling over the last year but was still able to make my payments on time. I had previously applied for a personal loan 3 times in the last few months thinking that would be my best option but was denied by all 3 companies. I recently received a pre-approval letter for a personal loan from this company and with little hope, I decided to apply anyways. Again, I was denied however, this company had an alternative solution for me which the other companies did not. The rep explained to me why I was denied even though I had been making my payments on time and how much I was really paying just by making minimum payments. I was given a realistic time frame of how long it would take me to get out of debt with a resolution plan. Not only have they helped save me money each month but I'm actually on a path to being debt free. I understand that this resolution plan isn't for everyone and I also understand that it can be hard to digest that you don't qualify for a loan. For those of you who are in the same situation I was in and looking for a reasonable solution, I would keep an open mind about this company and any options they may have for you.

I had no contract with this company. I answered a mailing that I got in the mail. I did an online consolidation loan application. next day a rep from the other company called stating I was denied the loan.. This is where the scam began. I have not spoken to any body at this company nor have they reached out to me as they stated on the message from the business. The only one that called was the CEO/owner  of Rescue  One      He introduced himself, asked who was the rep that called me back in 7-17-2012,        he then   said he was going to investigate and would call me right back...and to this date  he has not called back nor any one else representing  the company.  I want to know if  Rescue One sold my info to the other company involved in the scam or in fact they are the   same company? These  deceptive business practices have to stop . all they do is ruin peoples lives.      .

A note to the responder, individuals seek assistance because they have
difficult paying their bills on time. To highlight my credit score, is irrelevant.  I  joined the program because your representative
informed me that Rescue One/Freedom Financial has an   excellent
working relationship with the major credit card companies. When I was informed
that American Express and possibly Chase are allowing my accounts to go into
collections before settling an agreement, it contradicted your selling point.  In addition, it was recommended that I
"request to close my accounts" and no longer send payments. Payments
would be deducted bi-weekly to pay the creditors.  I comply with your recommendations.

This client received a letter to
apply for an unsecured personal loan and unfortunately was sub-par from
qualifying. The...

client had multiple reasons for not qualifying for the loan
aside from the credit score.  If you
would like the specifics I would be more than happy to supply them to you. This
person is in a very unfortunate situation and, we’re  sorry we could help with the loan, but you
have to have the ability to repay the loan.

Client enrolled in September 2014, at this time we could not enroll the Credit union accounts, as client had auto loan, but with small balance. Credit union with [redacted]. In October 2014 the client added both a $20K and $30K accounts from this credit union. In...

March 2015, the client removed the [redacted] ($6K) account. In April 2014, both the Credit Union accounts went into litigation. In May 2014, the client canceled the program and withdrew funds. We had to do a partial refund for an NSF fee, as client didn’t cancel in time and one of the May payments hit their bank account.
During the time the client was enrolled (March 2014) we received a settlement on [redacted] account (at that point in collections), however originally client DID NOT want to approve the settlement. Upon clients approval we set up the settlement with ARS National for a period of 3 monthly payments. It wasn’t until mid-June that we realized that the creditor had NOT CASHED any of the checks (UNFORTUNATELY WE FOUND THIS OUT FROM CLIENT) and this settlement went null and void. At this time we refunded the client the amount of the 3 payments that never cleared. (there are several reasons that this happens, including the collection company no longer had this debt, the original creditor pulled it back, it was actually with a different collection company, etc).
Now, in regards to clients actual complaint….
Not sure about the statement, a debt that could have cost us our home. Clients enrolled an Elan account and this could be pretty much anything…it could be part of the Credit Union that she added, it could be associated with [redacted], which is where the 2nd mortgage is at. I am not sure why client stating there was an issue or threat to her residence.
Clients statement that we lied about settlement, was due to creditor not accepting payments. Clients statement that she had to find out about the settlement not going through and her missing $3000 is due to us not knowing the checks had never been cashed, and once found out we reimbursed the client the payments.
a. Beginning balance $7001/settlement for $3096.20 (reimbursed 6/17/15)
b. 60% settlement
c. Fees were $1470.21 (collected on 3/27/2015), UPON RESEARCH THESE FEES WERE NOT REFUNDED SO I AM HAVING THAT DONE TODAY AND CLIENT CAN EXPECT FUNDS BACK IN HER ACCOUNT BY FRIDAY, JULY 10TH.

Mr. [redacted] has not done any business with our company at
this time so I cannot provide any information to you. He is upset...

that he didn’t
qualify for a loan here. I personally reviewed all phone calls and have ZERO
issues with how this was handled other than 1 email. [redacted] was polite and
respectful the entire time. If you would like to listen to the recordings,
please ask and I will forward to you.
Mr. [redacted] is thoroughly confused as to how he found us, we
do not nor have we ever done any business through Lendingtree.com. I am sure we
are not the only entity that denied him and for that I am truly sorry. Mr.
[redacted] only responded to him after an email out of nowhere that he was going to
file complaints through the Revdex.com, AG and your office.
We have purged all of this information from our database and
will never call this prospect again. We have also added him to our Do Not Call
list as we have no interest in working with people like this. AGAIN, he was
never a client or customer of ours. There was no financial transaction that
took place.
