Review: There is a gentlemen calling me and cursing me literally out about a debt that I have clearly agreed to pay. I have tried to work out a payment plan with this company, but the threats and the profanity used when speaking to him, by HIM and ONLY him I can no longer tolerate. He has cussed my daughter and my husband out because I have not been home to take his call. I am clearly aware of the debt, but I do not understand the additional charges and cannot make heads or tail of them when this man is talking to me. But I have never had someone speak to me in that manner when trying to collect a debt, and if I were trying to dodge the debt would I really provide them with card information and would I open my self up to this level of abuse from a man. Review: I first received a call from this company yesterday about a loan my step-son had supposedly taken out and defaulted upon. I have read the other two complaints filed about this company and read the company's responses. Whether or not this debt is legitimate or not is irrelevant, the caller - [redacted] - claimed to be with a law firm - Rossi & Lombardi. This law firm does not exist. He threatened to subpoena me in relation to this matter because I had been listed as a reference. The caller was very rude - constantly interrupting when I tried to obtain information. He made several other threats regarding criminal prosecution, process servers, jail, fraud, etc. I received another call today from [redacted] who said I should have received paperwork from them at my place of employment and that he needed to go over to the paperwork with me. It's not my paperwork or debt. When I called, the amount of the potential debt went from $12,000 some-dd dollars to $285 if I wanted to help out my step-son but I had to do it right then or they wouldn't be able to stop the process. This matter is from 2007 - the statute of limitations is long expired. The information they provide about their company is false. The information they provide about pending actions is false. They said they would email documentation about the debt but did not do so nor have they sent anything to my step-son.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop contacting me. I want them to stop contacting my step-son. I want them to apologize for their fraudulent practices. I want them to be blacklisted by the Revdex.com. They are scamming people - they don't ever provide any paperwork to back up their supposedly legitimate collection efforts. AND, their collection efforts are not legitimate because they are operating past the statute of limitations. PLEASE, please put a stop to this company's scare tactics, fraudulent activities and unethical practices. Review: I received a voicemail message on 7/10/12 from [redacted] explaining that he was calling from the Texas State Court and he was a court processor. He further explained that he was planning to arrive at my resident to serve someone with court papers (I will not disclose this persons name in this written complaint, because I would like to protect the privacy of this person). Mr. [redacted] also claimed that if he was contacted concerning this matter he would be forced to have the sheriff escort him to "my" place of employment to have "you" arrested. The person in question does not reside at my resident and since I have lived there, they never have. I called the number (###-###-####) that was left on the message to inquire about this matter. The person who answered the phone did not identify the company name, but when asked, he explained that company is a law firm, "Rossi and Lombardi" and they are handling a legal case that was filed against this person in question. He acknowledged that they are connected to the Texas court. When he was informed that the person in question does not reside at the resident they contacted, he preceded to ask if I knew the person and could I relay a message. This was very concerning to me, because if the company is not sure they are contacting the right person, how in the world can they leave such threating information on a voice mail. Not to mention, misrepresenting themselves in an effort to scare someone. There should a law against this practice. If there is a law, please direct me accordingly.Desired Settlement: To stop calling me and for the business to be closed for misrepresenting themselves. I dont think they should be allowed to bully anyone for any reason.

Review: This company calls 4-5 times a day for the last 2 months and they dont stop. There is nothing but a THREATENING message, i.e "if you don't return our call by 6 pm we will consider you uncooperative". Then I get a call from a lady that says she is going to serve me court papers between 2-4 pm that day and if I'm not home to receive them then she will have a "warrant issued for my arrest". she would not tell me what this is about, because she says the papers are sealed. NOW if she doesn't know what it is about then why is she threatening to arrest me. THIS SOUNDS LIKE NOTHING BUT ILLEGAL THREATS........I do have a attorney who has heard the voice mails and is leaving it to me weather I want to pursue a law suit. YES I DO HAVE A LAWYER. Review: I have been receiving phone calls from this company for the last few weeks. When they leave a message they state they have legal issues pending in my name but never state my actual name. The message states they have tried to reach me by mail (which they never have) and I have ignored such attempts. For the first few times it was a per-recorded message that instructed me to call them back at ###-###-#### and give them my name and social security number so they can look up my file. I DO NOT feel comfortable with this company, and believe this is fraud. I would never give out that kind of sensitive information over the phone to some one who will not confirm THEIR identity, what they are calling in regards to, or who they represent. The calls are becoming more harassing and I would like them to stop.Desired Settlement: I would like them to state the name of the person they are trying to contact and business they are supposedly representing. This is my SECOND complaint about this company. I have asked for them to stop contacting me or to at least provide me with what information/debt they are trying to collect by MAIL ONLY. Through my previous complaint through the Revdex.com I received a reply from them stating I would be take off their calling list...by never stated anything more. I accepted their response as I was satisfied and then not even 4 hours later ANOTHER HARASSING PHONE CALL (Tuesday at 11:55 am) and ANOTHER today (Wednesday at 4:00pm). I am at the end of my rope with this company and I REFUSE to return their call and give them my social security number so they can "look up" my case. I call BS. This is the most unprofessional business I have EVER dealt with. Between the multiple complaints on the Revdex.com website and the MANY online Blogs and Complaint forums in regards to the one collection agency I now see that I am NOT the only one who is harassed by this scam they call a "business".

The message states that I have a complaint filed against me and a hearing date is fast approaching. It also states that I should have received at packet at home or work that I need to sign for and they need to go over page 15 and I need to call soon because he has several hearings that afternoon.I tried calling once and received no information. Lady called me stupidnon the phone, said I needed to wash my mouth out with soap I use after washing hands. Review: Have continued to harass me for almost 2 months now claiming they have a complaint against me but will never specify a name or what its for. When I call the number provided to tell them to stop harassing me because whatever their problem is has nothing to do with me, they are extremely rude and hang up on me then turn around and call back with another ignorant recording from a computer and to find out they're issue is for someone else and has nothing to do with me. Review: I received a phone call today from ###-###-####, [redacted]. The message left to my voicemail did not state the company that [redacted] was representing. I called back and spoke with [redacted] and let him say his script; using scare tactics such as they'll be serving me legal papers at my home or place of employment; blah blah blah. Once he finished I told him that I'd been contacted before by a similar company using the same tactics and that my attorney informed me to request thier address to send a cease & desist letter. I also explained to him that my attorney told me that what he ([redacted]) is doing is illegal and a scam. He tried to cut me off while talking, I told him to let me finish and he told me to "shut your mouth". Yes, this infuriated me, but I calmed down and requested the address so I could send the letter but he hung up. I called back and asked the receptionist or whom ever answered the phone to provide me with the address and he said to have my attorney call to get the address. I don't care what debt they are trying to collect (if it even exists), they're practices are illegal. I would just like for them to never contact me again. And I don't mean sell my "debt" to their sister company so they can just do this under another name, but completely remove me from their list of victims to intimidate into giving them money. I have not recieved a pay day loan in 5 years and I'm pretty sure if I owed them money it would be on my credit report, which it is not.Desired Settlement: If this company has a valid debt that needs collected, send it via postal service. Review: This company keeps calling and leaving messages regarding charges over a loan or a check or something from february 2011. They have repeatedly harassed me on my boyfriends phone number and when I returned the call they demanded I pay 51.11 right then off my boyfriends bank account or they were sending an agent of some sort to my home to arrest me or summons me before I could even hang up the phone. I paid the money and they gave me a confirmation number and names of all the people I spoke with but I still have not receieved any confirmation receipts or anything from these people by email. I feel as if my boyfriend got dooped and now they have all of his banking info and said I could call back and change it to my own account after the 51.11 was made right then. How do I resolve this matter. They were being very rude, and made it sound as if I had the local police coming to my house right then!! I and my boyfriend are furious, we have a grandmother with cancer in treatment right now living here with us and this whole ordeal is just ridiculous as well as blasphemous I am starting to feel.Desired Settlement: I wish for my name to be removed from this companies list and feel that after all the harassement after 2 times speaking with these people they should have to pay all the fees they say I owe. Review: This company continues to call and leave threatening messages on phone numbers after being requested repeatedly to stop or provide documentation of debt. They refuse to provide anything at all on paper and call under different names but with same voice. Each time they call and leave messages they claim to need a call back by a certain time or cannot control what happens, then after a couple of days, the calls start all over again. They are calling numbers they have been asked to stop calling and each time have assured me that have been taken out of the system but have not. They have changed their phone numbers they are using now in order to try and get you to answer your phone.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop contacting me as they have failed to provide proper documentation regarding the alleged debt and abide by the FDCPA. I would request that the Attorney General of New York become involved in investigating this company as they are now changing their telephone numbers in order to call and leave messages. Companies like these should not be allowed to operate.

Review: I am getting messages from this number saying, "if I do not reply by 7 p.m., they will forced to show I am non-compliant with their investigation". The message doesn't have a proper beginning, like the person is waiting for the machine to pick up and then starting their recording a little late. I reversed checked the number on the internet and discovered that the number belongs to [redacted] in Buffalo. They do not specify who they are trying to reach and since the call is received at my place of work, through a router, they couldn't possibly know who they are calling. They state on the voicemail messages that court documents have been sent to my home or work.
