Review: We are a business receiving multiple calls (recordings) per week from "[redacted] or [redacted]". The calls do not indicate the company they are collecting for or whom the message is for. The recordings simply state that he would like to take care of this serious matter before taking legal action and a call must be returned by 6pm the day he is calling.

There is not a debt owed by this company that is in collections. There is no way of knowing if this call is for an employee. These calls are harassing and a nuisance. They are interrupting our work day.

If there is a legitimate debt owed, then proper contact should be made to the correct person with detailed information.Desired Settlement: They need to stop calling us immediately and remove our number from their contact lists.

Review: This company calls all contacts numbers they have for me atleast 3 times a day. Someone named [redacted] called and left a message saying she was from R&L. The number she left on the voicemail was ###-###-####. I decided to call the number back to see what she wanted. She said I had a balance due from 2010 and they would take me to court if I didn't pay. I exaplained to her I do not remember this balance, but if I owed it I would like to make payment arrangements. I also explained to her, I am currently not working(was just told by a previous co-worker they are calling the job number as well) and the amount I will be able to pay. She put me on hold to get "the lawyer" and he was rude as soon as he got on the phone. He never told me his name, just explained to me I needed to pay the balance due today or he would take me to court on Tuesday or Thursday of next week. What I don't understand is if you saying I have a balance due and i'm willing to make payment arrangements, why is this not execptable? If I do owe a balance, I need it in writing. Also, if you they are unable to reach me, anyone they are able to contact, they tell them I have a balance due and they are going to take me to court. They have also called me from a ###-###-#### and ###-###-####. This company is very rude and I no longer want to be contacted by phone.Desired Settlement: ANY CONTACT NUMBER YOU HAVE, DO NOT USE IT ANYMORE. Review: This company left several non compliant messages on my cell phone voicemail and clearly have unethical collection tactics. They don't ask for a person's name but leave threatening messages saying they are serving papers to my place of business or home and that I will be taken to court . I will not deal with them in regards to this. The voicemails has been saved and will be sent to my attorney if needed.Desired Settlement: They are to cease and desist all phone calls, they can communicate via mail or a formal complaint will be filed with the Attorney General. I want a validation notice before I even consider taking care of whatever they are taking me to court or serving papers for.

No such account exists with out office. This leads me to believe this is simply a case of a wrong number being listed on another individual's account. The provided phone number of 757-470-2909 has been removed from our office and Ms.[redacted] will not receive any further calls. Again no such account exists with our office for [redacted]. Review: This company has repeatedly broke the laws of the FDCP Act. They have called my place of employment, ex-husband, and relatives that have nothing to do with my daily business. They misrepresent their business as a law firm. Every time they call myself or my relatives they claim to be a law firm looking to serve me legal papers as they claim I am in trouble with the law over fraudulent checks. I have not written bad checks nor is anyone trying to serve me papers. Every day they call claiming that I have till 6pm or they will hand over my information to authorities and that I will be really sorry. I have the voicemails to prove it and if they continue to claim I can be arrested and that they are attorneys (which is illegal as they are not) I will be forced to turn over all telephone recordings and information to my company's legal office as they provide all employees with pro bono services. They have reviewed the voicemails already and have stated there are atleast a dozen laws broken in the voicemails, which are often almost 2 minutes long. I have attempted to get a mailing address from them which results in me being hung up on.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is that they immediately stop calling all friends and relatives of mine along with my place of employment and me personally. Any more calls or collection attempts will spur on a lawsuit by me and my representatives immediately. I have all the ammo I need in the voicemails to win in court and prove that many statutes within the FDCP Act have been violated. There are enough violations in these voicemails to levy major fines by the FTC. I don't even know how they got my sister's information as I have never used her for any type of reference. They misrepresent their business as a law firm. Review: This company continually calls our home number with vague legal threats and something about an ACH transfer. We've never heard of them nor have we received any correspondence from them. We have no outstanding bills and are tired of this harassment. They never ever leave the name of the person or persons they are trying to reach. Review: This company has been repeatedly harassing me. They call my employer multiple times each day and my cell phone threatening that they are bringing a sheriff to my place of employment and that they want to discuss "page 15" of some sort of packet. I called back and informed them that no paperwork was received and to give me the details of this page 15 but they claim they did not have it. I asked for the date and time of the hearing date that they said was coming up quickly and they said nothing has been filed yet. This company is a complete SCAM, and federal charges need to be filed against them, along with civil suits filed as well.Desired Settlement: I demand that they CEASE AND DESIST ALL COMMUNICATION WITH ME.

I was notified by Rossi & Lombardi that a debt of mine held with First National Bank in regards to a Legacy Visa account opened in 2005, had been turned over to them for collections. The representative that called told me that the amount was $563.39. We discussed payment amounts and settled on $20 a month with 8/2/13 being the time they would call again to "reset" the amount or provide other payment options. 12/31/12 I paid the initial payment of $20 with my debit card, Authorization #[redacted]

They are no where on my credit report as a collection agency with the above mentioned account. The Legacy Visa/First National Bank account as of 7/11/13 is follows:

When I noticed the $403.39 deduction I got their file out of my cabinet and realized they had not sent me any verifying letters on this account (RED FLAG AGAIN)

I looked online (Google) for their website to get a phone number and called them at ###-###-####. they were closed but I left a very irate message for them to call me back.

I called my bank immediately after and was advised to file a dispute of charges with them and that would mean to close my debit card (fee involved).

7/12/13 8:16 a.m. I called R& L back and spoke with "[redacted]" he gave me a direct line to him ###-###-#### or use his extension (100) when using 855 #

He was hostile with me, belittling me, saying I owed this to them (or Legacy Visa) and that I had NEVER made any payments to them. I told him I in fact had been paying since Dec 2013 and he told me to prove it and to watch my tone with him; after he'd been yelling at me. I stated for him to watch his tone with me since he was to be the professional. I then told him I had been in contact with the Revdex.com and the FTC and he better comply, he changed his tune. Said he would look into refunding my money and for me to call back later in the day or Monday at Noon. I called back at noon (11:19 a.m. my time CST) and got his voice mail, 11:20 a.m. I called back on 855 number using his extension and got his voice mail, 11:21 I called 855 # getting operator and I asked to speak with "[redacted]" (I would swear it was he who answered the phone) they asked who was calling so I told them and was transferred to his voice mail. My boyfriend called him immediately after I hung up using his name (not mine) and spoke with "[redacted]" and "[redacted]" stated that I owed them the money; so that told me his "looking into a refund" was only a ploy to get me off the phone and he was avoiding my calls.

since BB is closed between 12-2 I had to wait to call them.

1:10 p.m. CST I called the Revdex.com and they informed me to call Attorney General in Buffalo, NY to report my claim with them, as well as with the Revdex.com.

1:34 p.m. CST I called the Attorney General and they are sending me a form to file with them to add to their case against this company.

I have done all this, and yesterday I was diagnosed with Mono so I am not feeling the best and now have to deal with this!!

Everything I have stated in this statement can be proven with copies of phone records, and bank statements. I contacted my attorney as well, unfortunately, he is out of state, but if something is not resolved by the time he is back, I WILL proceed in that direction.Desired Settlement: I want refunded the amount stolen from my bank account and the amount to cancel/renew debit card

$563.39 + $15 = $578.39

However, I am sure I will have fees for overdrafts and returned checks later!!!!!! This is just the amount now that I know.

I would also like this company closed down so others are not put in this position.

Review: This place continues to call and harrass me at work and on my home phone telling me I will go to jail and that I am a thief and a loser and that I have a case # to appear in court. All regarding a credit card that I had not paid all the way off in 2008 for [redacted]. My husband was laid off and was diagnosed with menagitis the same year we fell behind on our bills. I support the house on my own. I have explained this time and time again. So I did some research on these people after being threatened and called names and telling me they are going to come down to my job and tell my boss what kind of person they hired also said they were going to summons me. told me I was going to jail for stealing I never have stolen anything in my whole life. it's all lies I have no summons or court date nothing. they are crooks from what I have read and researched on. I even got my step father involved and they said they would stop the phone calls but have yet to do so. I can loose my job for something like this. my job is the only thing my family has right now. I never felt so violated and scared by a stranger before. had me in tears cause I never dealt with anything like this before so I had no idea. they need to be stopped on trying to take advantage of people and the way they treat people just to get a commision. the money does not even go to your credit it goes to them and does nothing for the consumer.Desired Settlement: I want them shut down. if you search them on the internet you will see how many people are harrassed and treated poorly and threatened time and time again

Review: This company has repeatedly violated my rights under FDCPA by threatening me with legal action, incarceration, claiming I will lose my job, pretending to be attorneys and that they've served me with legal papers. They've made several false accusations of check fraud and stated that the Sheriff was on his way to arrest me. They called my family/friends numerous times telling them that I'm going to be arrested and if I don't call them back "the situation will unfold badly upon me." My family/friends have asked them numerous times to STOP calling and I've written a CEASE & DESIST letter to which they have completely ignored and continue to harass us several times a day for months now. Review: This company calls me everyday, yet they never tell me what the collection is for. They are very threatening, in the matter that if I don't return their call by 6 pm they will list me as uncooperative .. most recently 4-30-13 a lady called me saying she is from an independent processor from the state of California, and she is going to come to my home and serve me court papers between 2-4 pm. She went on to say if I am not there to receive the papers that she will have a "WARRANT ISSUED FOR MY ARREST" . I asked what this was for and she said that the documents are SEALED AND SHE HAS NO INFORMATION ABOUT THE DOCUMENTS. Review: We receive frequent robotic phone messages from R&L Capital stating that they have documents with our name, address and phone number that need to be addressed and that we need to contact them by 6 PM or they will turn the case over and indicate that we have been uncooperative. They provide a phone number to call (###-###-####) but when you call you get another recording asking for your name and case number, but the initial recording doesn't mention a case number. The phone message at the house also includes a man's name which I can't quite catch, but it sounds like Paul Brennan. The calls are harassing in tone and we receive 1-2 per day each day for approximately a week now. The number on which we are receiving these calls is not our main home number, and we have only had the phone number a little over a year. Since we do not use that number for any documents or personal matters, we are certain the caller is either not a legitimate business or is looking for someone else who may have previously had that number.Desired Settlement: 1. Review: This company is calling my cell phone, my place of employment, my boyfriend and my grandmother about a past due debt they claim to have from a [redacted] Bank of [redacted]. Review: This company has been calling my home, cell phone and my mother in law for 2 weeks stating that I should have already been served either at home or my place of work. They never leave any other information just that I should call them and that I had a pending court date and I had 24 hours to respond. This evening I called them back the woman I spoke with was incredibly rude I was mortified with how she spoke with me. I asked if they were a law firm and she said no I then said I researched the company and I was not sure of their credibility to which she told me to google [redacted] I told her [redacted] was not harassing me everyday. She told me that they have not been calling me for as long as I stated and that I was a liar to that I replied that I have all the messages which really seemed to upset her. She asked who I spoke with there and I informed her that it was a recording and messages she said that she felt sorry for whoever had to talk to me to which I responded "excuse me" she then went on to say she felt sorry for my mother, I informed her that my mother had passed and she said thank god for that because now she does not have to deal with me. I have never been spoken to that way. People should not be allowed to harass me with no or little information being given and then speak to me that way when I do call them back!! I have received any documentation from this company concerning anything.

Our offices have in fact been trying to reach [redacted]. We have sent correspondence out that is requred per law. We sent a dunning notices to the debtor on several occations to an address [redacted]y NY 12549, explaining the reason we are calling. We have a debt in our office from a company by the name of First Legacy (First National Bank) The account number of the credit card is [redacted]. The debtor charged a balance on this card in 2009 and then refused to make arrangements to repay the debt. At this time our office has placed the account into a closed status and we will not attempt to call the debtor any further. This does not mean that she doesnt owe the debt simply that we will not attempt to reach her any further. It is a possibility that the account will get sold to another collection agency and that she will have the same problem months down the line with another company. This is what happens when bills are unpaid. Ihave attached a letter to this complaint which shows the purposes of our calls in the first place. Hopefully this helps. I have also listened to the recording of the phone call and this debtor was using foul language directly to our representative. I would be more then happy to provide the recording of the call. I have also attached a letter as to why we are calling so hopefully this helps the debtor recollect this account. If she would like to pay the bill she is more then welcome to contact our offices and speak to me directly. I have never received anything from this company in the mail. I have only received voice messages stating that a pending civil claim is about to filed. The messages, which I have saved, also state that I should have been served either at my place of work or business and I, or my legal counsel, have 24 hours to contact the office. As for the foul language, yes I did but it was not until after the fact that the person I was speaking to started with a tone and comments in reference to my deceased mother. I would be glad to listen to the recording they have and I would also be happy to send the messages that I have. This is not about the debt, this is about the manner in which they treat people and act as a business.

Review: I was contacted by the above agency on November 13th by incoming phone # ###-###-####. I was then told to call ###-###-####. I then called the number and was informed that they would look up my information and this was an attempt to collect a debt. A male then got on the phone and told me that they had legal paperwork in their office in regards to a civil matter in regards to a blaze mastercard debt that I owed. They said that I frauded the credit card company by altering, falsifying my income in order to obtain the credit card. I also owed a balance on the card and I had an hour to make arrangements otherwise I was going to be served these papers and my cost would triple. I then stated that I wanted to make payment arrangements but didn't have my debit card on me. He asked if I had a girlfriend or child which is none of their business. He then stated that I had an hour to respond. I also stated that I have been paying many debts that I have had in the past and would make arrangements with this debt. The male then said you haven't been paying your debt, we have access to your credit report and it doesn't reflect that you have been paying any of your debt. Get back to me in an hour or your going to be served. I ran home from work and then proceeded to call them back. I made payment arrangements with them in the amount of $301.11 which is to be debited from my bank account on November 19th. I also requested a reference letter in regards to the account to be sent via email. Which was recorded over the phone, which I agreed to. I was told that I would get the confirmation agreement letter the following day on November 14th. I also asked them for their address and name of the business. They told me the name and address and how the debit would appear on my account. I then tried to locate their information on the internet and was unable to attain it from the information I was given. I then called them back and asked again for their address. I was then disconnected and the male who I had spoken to called back. He asked me why I was inquiring about the address. I told him I needed to look out for my interest in this matter as well. He then stated that what difference does the address make. I told him I wanted to make sure they were a legitimate law office. He then said I suppose now you aren't going to honor your payment arrangement. I said that is not the case I just wanted the information for my record. He didn't give me the address and hung up on the phone. I never did receive the requested email and I phoned them again on November 15th. I was told by staff that they would send it right away. Still no email. I was however able to get their exact name when my call went to their answering machine. These types of debt collection harassment is absolutely awful. I have dealt with debt collections before and they are nice and willing to work with you. This experience gives debt collectors a bad name.Desired Settlement: I am not sure if I should let the payment go through on November 19th, beings I haven't received the requested email I was told I would get for my records. I have no problem with repaying my debt, however I do not ever want any phone calls again from this so called debt collection/law office again.

Our Offices R and L capital have in fact spoken to you regarding your [redacted] Preferred Credit Account. The original account number showing [redacted]. We have come to an agreement of $301.11 that is due in our office on November 19th 2012. This comsumer did in fact set up a post dated credit card payment that was authoizred on a recorded line with our office. We have also requested an email sent to him which was in fact sent to him yesterday after the phone conversation. We emailed this letter directly to his email address of [redacted]@Hotmail.com. If for some reason he has not recieved this letter he is more then welcome to contact our office. We would like to ensure that he recieves this letter because this account really does need to be resolved. We can also ensure the consumer that we will not contact him ever again regarding this account as long as on Novemeber 19th the payment for the amount of $301.11 clears the bank. At which point we will go ahead and send a paid letter to him.

I have received the response and also received a call from the manager. I fully intend to follow through with the arrangement for payment that I agreed to. I also did finally receive the email that I had requested. They ended up having the incorrect email address on hand. I just wanted to bring light to their methods of inappropriate and unprofessional tactics to collect a debt. I am glad that I will be done with this company all together. No further notifications are necessary. I have checked other claims brought against them and it is pretty similiar in unprofessional tactics to collect debt. Just glad I am done with them.

Review: Starting mid March this company started calling me. The message they left said that they had been trying to contact me regarding a collection account and if I did not get back to them by 6 pm that they were going to start legal proceedings. When I called back to speak with the person who left the message I was told they were unavailable. I was told what the collection account was about and I told them that I had already paid off this account. I have forwarded them the letter stating that this had been paid and given R & L Capital the contact information for the company that I paid off. Even after all of this I have been receiving 2-3 calls a day. When I answer the phone I am met with a pre-recorded message that says they have been trying to get in touch with me for the past week and I have failed to contact them. Today Wednesday 4/10, I spoke with the company and said I had already paid this bill, they said that unless I can prove to them I paid it they would start legal proceedings, I told them I emailed them twice the letter stating this account has been paid, and they were more than welcome to take me to court. 5 hours after this conversation, I received yet another call saying they had been trying to get in contact with me. Not only are they harassing me but they've also been harassing my elderly grandparents. I have never received any paperwork from them regarding this matter, only threatening phone calls. This needs to stop.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop calling and threatening me and my family members.

Review: Received a recorded phone call on business work line though the message never stated who the call was for but it said that I needed to call back due to there was an arbitration matter against me and if I didn't there would be legal action taken. It was a recorded message. It stated that I needed to call immediately and ask for a [redacted] at ###-###-####, however the number that showed on the caller id was ###-###-####.

I called back and was told [redacted] was on a conference call and they asked what number was I calling from.

Then was told they were looking for someone by the name of [redacted]. I said no one by that name here. Very unprofessional in regards to there message and customer service when calling back in.Desired Settlement: When I looked up this company it appears that they are scammers and have made rude calls to many people. Would be nice if they got shut down.
