[redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] This is where the disconnect isI was advised in most recent email from customer service that within a couple of days of sending a request for refund? and email would be sent as acknowledgement of receipt( I also had the tracking email that states email was successfully delivered on July **)? That DID NOT happen and I sent another email asking they acknowledge my email or I would contact credit card company as potential fraudThey again, DID NOT acknowledge me and I called my credit card company and in turn the fraud department decided to reverse the charge as I had emails proving I contacted bookinggroup via email but they were not replyingTheir policy was not followedThey say couple days for email and not once did I get an email from them until I continued to send 2-emails dailyOnly then customer service said there was a chargeback and customer service could not helpI will be more than happy to call credit card company and request they reverse that charge again but as you can see it appears bookinggroup wants no part in correcting a wrongIf bookinggroup really wanted me to contact my credtcard company they would give that to me in writing s I have proof they are passing the responsibility to creditcard company to reverse that charge? I am still requesting a refund which I am confident the company can initiate on there side.? ? ? Apparently Economy Bookings is in denial that they are in the wrong. I don't think they even read my response to their denial. How in the world would anybody be expected to cancel a reservation that is apparently to their benefit hours before if it as reserved only a few hours before? And why should I not have the right to expect a refund if I was told at the rental counter that they will not honor the price given online nor the unlimited miles as promised? They don't really care about honesty or about customer satisfaction, they only care about money. If they continue denying that I was in my rights to not accept a higher price than offered and that I would not have the unlimited miles as stated when reserved only because I am a local resident when that condition was not stated on their website, I will never accept that the issue is solved in any way. I immediately went to *** car rental where they even gave me a lower price AND included unlimited miles. CUSTOMER BEWARE! Economy Bookings should not be your choice of car rental company. Hertz, *** and others have never given me any problems before was these people have

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Booking Group US regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I submitted to Booking Group copies of the offer that was made to me online which the car rental company refused to honor. But it makes
no
difference that it would have been impossible for me to cancel the fraudulent
car rental offer hours before I rented it as it states in their conditions, and it does not matter that the
online offer was not honored as to cost, miles or even as to misleading the public
that the car would be available at the airport which of course gives it a air of reputation & reliability, this company will not refund
anything at all. So it’s buyer beware

The partner company replied following:Customer was given a grace period to pick up the vehicleThe customer ended not picking up this vehicle. Now that everything you said was inaccurate just saying sorry is not acceptable I used your company to make a reservation and the contract was not followed by the company Just making an adjustment because that’s what the company that has the rental company does not make it acceptable There should also be ownership on your sideEven if that means your company is at a loss A customer should not be screwed because of a deal you guys made fell through You should do the right thing and then deal with the company on the back end

seen below:PRIMARY DRIVER CREDIT CARD PREAUTHORIZATIONAt time of pick up you will be required to leave a deposit to cover the value of the insurance excess.
