I attempted on numerous occasions to contact management at the hotel, but they continuously denied and avoided my reeqiesys I would have been very satisfied had they simply transferred payment to my future stay (as I clearly intended to stay at the hotel , and did, in fact, do so), but they did not offer me that option at any point, and have yet to have a discussion with me regarding this matter At this point, I simply require repayment for the charges that were unfairly applied Though they continue to deem this a "no show," it only remains this because of their intentional avoidance of my correspondence

Over a holiday weekend, my group and I drove three hours to ***, ** and tried to check in at the Rodeway Inn We were treated rudely immediately for no clear reason My friend who had booked the room (and had already been charged) went to check in The woman behind the desk saw that there was of us but that the room was booked for person It was a simple mistake made when we booked online The woman working told us that it would be an additional $on top of the $dollars we had just paid for two nightsObviously we were not happy but agreed to pay it As my friend handed the woman behind the desk the money she calmly stated that she did not agree with this policy and thinks its not right to gouge the prices up like that as we arrived She was trying to lodge a complaint but was still accepting the extra charges The woman behind the desk flipped out and became increasingly hostile and essentially threw the money back at us She completely over-reacted and started screaming about honestly, who knows what at that point She kicked us out and wouldn't listen to reason We have stayed there in the past so this was very upsetting She came across as mentally unstable and we didn't feel that she should be representing the business We have stayed there several times over the years because it is usually very affordable when there isn't a holiday (around $39/night) No matter how good their rates are, I caution all to stay away! The employees are hostile and their rooms are questionable

inside One King bed we will allow only two Adults and childrenAt day time we observe lot of different people they are coming inside that room and going outsideThey park their big Bus far away from this hotel and they used our room as Bathroom for every person from that BusFirst mistake they make reservation through travel agency and they did not inform Hotel about, their intention, that they want to use our room as bathroom onlyThey mess our room they make our carpet wet and dirtyIt is against hotel policyWe call Police immediately and we request them not to do any things like thatIf they think they are doing right thing, why they park their Bus far from this Hotel Parking lotwe have big parking place for Bus and trucksThey know no Hotels will allow them to do all this things inside their propertyThat's why they park their bus far from us and try to go against hotel policy.Next day we shampoo our carpets it was dirty and wet, we block that room because it smell badDue to their activities we were so disturbed, every person from that bus come inside lobby and started to argue with usDue to their activities lot of wacustomer they go back to others hotelsthey make us disturb and we loose lot of business tooand now they put lot of bad revues against this hotel.Thank you for your cooperationWaiting to listing from you.Nurag P***FDC Manager

The guest checked in the hotel on June 23rd and she was not satisfied with the cleanliness of the bathroom which she informed at the front desk and immediate action was taken by sending the housekeeper to clean the bathroom
She was even given the option to change the room but she decided to stay in that roomNext day June 24th 2015, the couple and their small kid were in the pool area and the father r was smoking in the pool area with their kid with them, the pool area has the clear visible sign of "No smoking"And that time CPO was checking the pool and he requested him not to smoke in the pool which they didn't like and wife came to front desk to complain about it, and said she would like to check out and get the refundFront desk agent also agreed to give her refund if she checkout immediatelyBut she never came to check out early and in fact checked out on June 27th Infact she checked in hotel again from June 29th to July 4th and July 5th to July 10th As I am filing the response the guest is actually staying in house in room ***So the management will not provide any refunds as their intention to get the refunds that's all

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the responseII have contacted the local health department to do an investigation as wellHaving video and pictures of bugs moving on the beds in different rooms is unacceptableI don't care that the rooms were sprayedThat proves nothing other than there must have been a bug problem previously and clearly some of the bugs survived the sprayThere are ways around giving a refund no mater how I booked.I have attached pics/videos from different rooms- both which are timestamped with date and locationPlease tell me those are acceptable conditions to sleep in.Im not letting this goI want a refund.

I stayed at the Rodeway Inn with my family on Friday, July 22nd We called at 5PM to reserve two rooms and checked in at 9:30PM..one of the rooms was a sweltering 90° We turned the temp.down and went to get dinner When we came back at 10:30PM the room was still 90° We asked for another room and indicated that since we needed two rooms, if they did not have one, we would check out and find another hotel They said they had another room and moved my husband and I to a different room Our children went to bed in their room My husband and I went out to enjoy some cocktails and entertainment at the pub across the street and when we returned to our room at 1:30AM the hotel had put another guest in our room, allowed the other guest to remove our partially unpacked luggage from the room and left our luggage at the front desk Meanwhile our children have been asleep for the past hours in the other room At 1:30AM..this crappy horrible hotel just checked another guest into our room..allowed that guest to touch our possessions and remove them We had to leave at 1:30AM..wake our children up and go find another place to stay..just horrible..how can they do this! Do not stay at this hotel ever Your possessions are not safe and they clearly don't care about leaving a family stranded that lives hours away in StLouis with no where to go at 1:30AM They should have told the couple attempting to check in at 1AM that they overbooked and had no additional rooms...instead they decided to just put them in a room that already had a paid guest checked in and take that paid guests things out of the room and it would be fine? I cannot stress enough what a horrible experience and poorly run hotel this is...Run

Parkway Inn Tuesday, July 24, Baltimore PikeSpringfield, PA19064 Sub: 3rd response to complaint ID *** Dear *** *** ***, This is the third response that we are sending concerning the unending complaints of *** ***. This guest made a booking for two nights at our hotel through ***. He spent the entire first night at our hotel, and on the second day he stayed at our hotel until about pm. If this guest did not like to stay at our hotel beyond the first night of his stay, he should have check out at ELEVEN IN THE MORNING OF THE FOLLOWING DAY. Instead he stayed on in his room until TEN IN THE EVENING OF THE SECOND DAY We find it very strange, that now he is coming up all these reasons and allegations. Why so? Is it because this guest wants to get a refund after having used our hotel facilities for two days? As far as we are concerned, this is a fraudulent claim that does not merit any further attention. We accept the refundWe do not accept that fact that zero people actually employed by the motel were present
at our check outAs stated earlier, we were on a schedule to be in Stillwater for a football game and were not at the hotel after check in until around pm that nightThe person who wrote the response was NOT present at the motelThe person behind the desk was not an employee (said so himself) nor was a staff member present (also stated by front desk)According to the front desk person, that would mean the 'housekeepers' that entered our room were not employees, which would cause another issue in itselfWe would like this issue to be looked into for future guestsThe inspections cannot be even close to passing if conducted correctlyThe conditions were dispicable, even for a roadside motelThank you for your assistance in the matterWe appreciate all you have done

First off, we have myself and two other rooms who have also filed complaints as well, the rooms were directly next to meRooms and Also these claims that I am a local person and am staying in the hotel next door are false, I currently live in Bomoseen, VT at a very nice estsblishmentI also work a full time job as well as.my fiance works two full time jobsTo say I was on your property begging for $is absolutely absurdYou also stated this person asked the manager for $and then proceeded to ask guests for $so you must obviously have clear camera footage of this said person in your hotel lobby or propertyI will gladly verify you have me mistake with someone elseI have contacted Senator *** *** *** *** in request with helping in this matter as well as Vermont Legal Aid. In response to your complaint I would first like to apologize for any confusion that occurred in regards to the two orders placed with usPlease find below an explanation of the various points made in your complaint
- Difference in the price
quoted and the amount authorized on your credit/debit card-
Both orders were placed with the same CSR in our call center and apparently she was having difficulty getting the offer code to work in our computer systemThis offer code applies any discounts to the order if applicableOne order reflected the discount and the other did notThis was a mistake on the part of our employee rather than a case of deceptive sales practices and we would have been able to rectify this error if given the opportunity either before or after the order shippedAgain we apologize for the error made and this situation has been reviewed with the CSR who entered the order
- Credit card orders are authorized prior to shipping to insure that the credit card is a valid card; we do not receive any money for an authorizationCredit cards are not charged until we ship the merchandise at which time we will receive payment
- If the credit card used was actually a debit card (which we have no way of knowing) the dollar amount of the order(s) may be held by the customers bank depending on the terms of agreement with the issuing bank
- Even though we received an authorization on the credit card which tells us it is valid credit card on larger orders we also perform an address verification to make sure that we have the correct billing address of the customer before releasing the order to our warehouse for shippingThis is done to protect both the customer and the company from a fraudulent use of a valid card
According to our credit card processing company the address provided was not correct so that is why we contacted you to verify this information
Per your request the following actions have been taken in regards to your orders-
- Both orders were canceled and notification by email was sent with confirmation of this requestNo refund was issued as we never charged your card; authorizations automatically drop off when a transaction is not completedHowever, we did contact our processing company and ask that the authorizations be reversed as soon as possibleAgain this is ultimately up to the issuing bank of the card to drop the authorization and release any money they are holding
