This car lot was the worst experience I've ever had with buying a new car! They are deceptive, liars, and aggressive when you tell them you wan't to think about it overnight before purchasing a vehicleThings they lied about: 1) Their pricing, online they show their price at about $for a elantra This couldn't be further from the truth, expect to go in paying $ Also, they add a bogus $Ron Carter package to their cars that you cannot get out of They state that you cannot build a vehicle and have it shipped to them You can only buy what they have on their lot, which is another lie This package is none other than the $equipment package and a few other accessories such as bumper coating for a few hundred bucks, nowhere near the $they claim2) They claim you can't combine certain cash back incentives and rebates, but this is false, you can combine all you qualify for (except combining leasing and 0% apr financing with specific others) [redacted] proved them wrong when I bought a car from them for $14750, after they combined the cash incentives and rebates that Ron Carter Hyundai said that you could not They lied right to my face, claiming this is impossible3) They wouldn't honor their [redacted] price match +$when I tried to trade in my Jeep They stated that it had a recall on it I told them I would get the recall taken care of, but they tried to talk me out of it and trade it in today They stated that it would cost them money to get the recall done because they are a dealership, I'm not sure if this is a lie or not, but based on my history with them, it probably is It sounds like just another reason to try and screw me over4) They claimed that all the other Hyundai dealerships were sister companies and that the pricing would be the same as theirs This is in fact a lie, none of these Hyundai dealerships have anything to do with them, probably because they are scam artistThe salesperson got aggressive when I said I didn’t want to buy and wanted to think about it When I told him I called other dealerships and got better prices he became very aggressive and said “Where is the buyer’s order then!”, guess what, my buyer’s order is my brand new Elantra for $less than what you could offer after haggling on price for hours They also honor their prices unlike you guysTo top it off, I didn't have to haggle with them at all I just went to [redacted] , test drove the car, looked over the numbers, and bought their car It took a total of two hours I wasted hours at Ron Carter and got nowhereWhen I left I noticed my [redacted] offer was missing from my car and when I went back in to get it, the salesperson got frustrated and said they put it in the shredder bin I asked him why they think it would be a good idea to shred my documents and to get it back He reluctantly said, hold on I’ll go see if I can get a key to the shredder bin He came back with my paper, so he lied about that too It's almost as if he took it out of spite, very professional Ron CarterRon Carter Hyundai was the worst dealership I've ever dealt with by far Save yourself the trip, go to [redacted] and save yourself money and time I am in no way affiliated with any of these dealerships in any way, shape, or form I just don't like when car lot's try to scam customers and lie to you and get aggressive when you don't want to buy their vehicle Nobody should have to deal with these thievesAlso, I found out that this car lot offers their customers incentives for good reviews Be weary of their good reviews because they are probably paid for I get absolutely nothing to do this review except for the satisfaction of knowing that other's will know this car lot is nothing but garbage

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, The car I got was the exact car on the ad on their site It did say the tint was included I have not heard from anyone to fix my tint I drove over miles round trip to get it done plus took over four hours out of my work day and was told that they were not even going to be open for another hour after that I request they send the tint people to me as I do not want another plus miles on my car because of their not telling me the truth or resolving the matter

Mr***,Ron Carter Hyundai is the #Hyundai Volume Hyundai Dealership in TexasWe do this by selling cars to several hundred happy and satisfied customers each monthWhile we are proud of this fact it does come with challenges When regularly selling over new Hyundai’s and preowned vehicles per month misunderstandings can and do occur from time to timeThe vehicle lease contract, like any lease agreement cannot simply be "terminated" prematurelyEarly termination, while possible and with costs, is subject to terms clearly outlined in the lease contractThe confusion likely stems from the optional "Excess Wear & Tear" (addendum) you purchased to protect your investmentThat agreement can be cancelled at any time for any reason, on a pro-rata basisSimply putThey are two separate agreementsWe certainly apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this may have caused.Sincerely,Ron Carter Hyundai Customer’s Statement of the Problem: I leased a vehicle from Ron Carter at the Oct 30, While I was in the business office finalizing the paperwork, I asked the Business Manager about what would happen if I terminate the lease earlyHe (Kerry M***) said that the addendum which I signed covered early termination and I could cancel the lease without penalty after monthsI was quite excited about this clause and I made sure of this by asking him to re-affirm the early termination clause and he re-affirmed itHe said that it was covered in the addendum to the lease contractWhen I reviewed the paperwork upon returning home I discovered that the early termination clause was not in writingThinking that I would get the entire package and clauses in the mail, I waited for the information from Hyundai LeaseWhen I did not get the information, I approached the dealership and was told that I could come by to pick up the early termination clauseI was presented a printed documented which has some wording but the wording did not seem correct and so I was lead to another Business ManagerWhen I asked this manager to sign off on this clause, he flat out refused and said that he does not have to do anythingI then approached the General Manager - Christian and he assured me that what the Finance Manager told me was correctI was also assured by Kerry M [redacted] that the early termination clause was correctThe next week, I called Hyundai Lease to verify what I was told and Hyundai Finance said that the early termination clause was something in the pastI then realized that I was deceived when I leased the vehicleI contacted the General Manager and told him that I waned to return the vehicleHe then had the Finance Manager Scott call me and Scott told me that the addendum covered the Early Termination fee if I would terminate after months and lease another vehicleScott also told me how much I saved on the purchase of the vehicleWhat happened at this dealership is a deception to create a lease and all of the members there are in on it including the Sales, Finance and General ManagerFor a dealership this size, I am shocked by the deception

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A DEALERSHIP STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They advertise falsely on the internet, show discounts that you do not get They keep you there for hours, and you sign papers, then they ADD numbers to the paper and you never see it again We also were required to purchase their 'protection plan', but just before going to the finance department, after over hours of waiting should have been a clue we were asked to sign one last form before 'entering' finance It was blank, again, another clue!, and it was 'we do not owe you anything form', which means that you don't RECEIVE the protection package that they sell you It is a complete scam The Invisi Shield and the Polysteel protection are plans that have to be applied to the car after the fact, and you leave, and never get it because they don't OWE you anything How does a dealership get away with selling product and not delivering it to the consumer? Unbelievable If you are [redacted] enough to get scammed by them as we were, then file with the Revdex.com, file with the [redacted] , file with Hyundai Corporation, whoever you can They are awful

[redacted] ***, Thank you for your feedback we appreciate your having shopped with usWe take our customer's concerns seriously [redacted] is the #Hyundai store in the Houston areaWe do this by selling cars to several hundred happy and satisfied customers each monthWhile we are proud of this fact it does come with challengesWhen regularly selling over new Hyundai’s and preowned vehicles per month misunderstandings can and do occur from time to timeOur policy is that we do not negotiate via phone and we should not have engaged in any conversations to the contraryWe apologize for any misunderstand and not coming to an agreed final price We will be sending you three $ [redacted] / Gas Cards for your inconvenience Please email your physical address to [redacted] and we will overnight them to you Again, we appreciate your interest in [redacted] and apologize for any inconvenience Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] When they took the vehicle away from me I was told that every week they get a new shipment of the same vehicle but without the tinted windows , nitrogen air filled tires , and they would save one for me for the following weekWhen I went back [redacted] *** which was the original gentlemen who made the deal with me the first time told me that they receive shipments once a monthThe question I asked all of them was if I did not qualify for the rebates now to get the car for 11,why would I qualify in one week or one month? The extra additions were considered a package of which given their mistake they should have given me the additions at half price and the car at 11, I even offered to pay half price for that package but they just don't want to sell me the car for $11,I went out there two additional times per their request and yet they keep trying to sell me the car for $18,to $20,dollars [redacted] dealt with me the last visit I had instead of [redacted] ( the gentlemen who contacted me after I placed the complaint) and told me if I wanted to wait months to let him knowBasically they want me to get discouraged and go somewhere elseTony did tell me to just buy a car from someone else if I did not want to wait monthsI find it ridiculous that they had me there for hours on my last visit to accomplish nothing and try to sell me the car for that high amountThey all contradicted themselves continuously Regards, [redacted] [redacted]

After emailing several times with Christian [redacted] , salesperson @ Ron Carter Hyundai, I made an offer on an advertised vehicle He emailed back and said his manager thought this was a reasonable offer We jump in our car, drive miles down to the dealership via Beltway with $in tolls during rush hour traffic We get there, Christian [redacted] is "missing in action" Some guy named Justin then tells me that they can't sell the car to my for the price I was told He then trades me off to a Ralphie [redacted] guy that tells me the same thing I tell him & show him that I have the emails agreeing on that price, he tells me that it's not a binding written quote I ask for the General Manager, Anthony [redacted] , who has also emailed me several times I'm told that it's after p.mand he's gone "missing in action" too This dealership is a scam, they are all liars and do bait & switch DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE, go elsewhere After wasted hours of my time, when I got home at almost 9:p.m., I called the general manager Anthony [redacted] 's office phone He answered, evidently accidently He sounded sincere and asked what he could do to make it better, he took both of my phone numbers Anthony....I'm still waiting on your call LOL I guess it was a blessing that I ended up NOT buying a car from Ron Carter Hyundai I also found out that their Revdex.com rating is a D+, no wonder why??!! Your advertising is misleading & false Your salespeople and entire dealership is unethical!! I feel sorry for anyone who has done business with you that has been mislead and taken advantage of!

This was by far the most horrible experience we have ever had at a dealershipWe live almost hours away, and had decided to make the drive to get a used car we had been searching forI felt confident in making this drive since I felt that we had pretty much squared everything away on the phone, but when we arrived it was a totally different storyNot only would they not come off their price any (which we knew beforehand) but they also had a hidden $3,"accessory package" that was non-negotiableIt is supposed to cover oil changes, tire rotations, etcBut you are stuck with it whether you want it or notThis was not disclosed to me at ANY time during our phone conversation or on their websiteSo if you are looking at a car, go ahead and add $3k to the price of the car (not including taxes or their other fees)If a $3k addition was not enough, they also offered me almost $10k less for my trade than they had quoted me on the phone (I knew it was an estimate on the phone, but they were still $4,lower than several other dealers who had appraised our vehicle)They also tried tricking us into thinking we were getting more for our trade in value by adding our tax credit to the trade allowanceThat is not correct! Be prepared to read every line in detail and ask questions before you goI was told different things by different people in a matter of a few minutesI had the unfortunate experience of getting to work with Steven...if you are so lucky to hear his smug voice when you call, do yourself a favor and ask to speak with someone elseHe apparently is so impressed with his position as manager that he seems to think everyone else is just too stupid to possibly understand the car buying process and he must speak down to you and explain things to you as if you are just too dumb to keep upUnfortunately for them, my husband and I did extensive research and could see straight through their BSAfter spending hours at the dealership going around and around with them trying to move numbers around in an attempt to trick us, we eventually just walked out and drove our car homeThey want to brag about their prices, but they are able to price them that way because they add on the $3k package that you cannot get rid ofDo not fall for their tricksI am not saying you will not find a good car there or have a good experience, but do your research and be prepared before you goWe were literally $1k away from what buying the exact same car brand new would have cost usIt was the most frustrating experienceBasically, my advice would be to be very leery of this dealership and to avoid working with Steven at all costsHe is the one I spoke with on the phone that gave me very different information from when we arrivedI am really not sure how he got a managerial position with that type of demeanor towards customersNot only was he rude towards us, but he also talked down to his partner (who we actually liked) which was extremely rude and disrespectfulIf you want to spend AT LEAST $5k over what you think your price will be, then this is the dealership for youI will say that their facility was nice and I saw several people that seemed to be working hardJust keep in mind that they have that nice facility because they are tricking so many peopleDon't be one of them

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Please note the dealer does not dispute the primary concern for this complaint being filedWhich is their discriminatory practice of selective selling to only buyers that agree to offer them a documented follow up high customer satisfaction ratingIt is hard to imagine this unethical type of business practice is acceptable in today's business worldIf this practice is legal, then at a minimum it should be disclosed up front when dealing with customers and not as a strong arm tactic at the 11th hour when signing a final sales contractTo get their point across, maybe they should post a large sign in their lobby stating "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." To resolve this issue, I offer to buy a comparable equipped vehicle at the prior agreed price and terms Regards, [redacted] ***

Mr [redacted] ,Thank you for your messageWe have changed our management team and MrH [redacted] is no longer Ron Carter HyundaiYour case was likely lost in his emailNevertheless, we will take care of your gas cards and schedule your vehicle repair immediately. Please contact Chris P [redacted] at [redacted] at your convenience.Again, our apologiesRon Carter Hyundai

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint You sure do have communication problemsAnother thing you have is staff that lies and uses Bait and Switch tactics on consumersI car further support my statement since your company FABRICATED the "Sold Car Story" just to cover its misconduct on Bait and SwitchInstead you should have admitted the misconduct, took action, and trained employees not to do itAs I see, now you teach employees to cover up their misconductI will pursue this complaint with [redacted] agency and [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint I originally visited Ron Carter; talked to several salespeople; waited for a manger to call me back, who didn't; filed a complaint; and then waited for a response from MrH [redacted] regarding my request to honor their advertised pricingUnfortunately, in that time, Ron Carter has raised their online pricesMrH [redacted] has agreed to sell me a car at the advertised price, but not the original pricing which brought me to their dealershipThe difference is approximately $3, Of course, there are many prices to considerRight now they have the same vehicle advertised for $28,here, $26,here and even $22,hereThat's the best price I seen, and it was updated only two days agoAll of their vehicles on that site, including other [redacted] **s, are similarly priced, so this cannot be a singular error in pricingI believe all of their follconversations and attempts to address complaints are disingenuous in that they are of course aware of their own deceptive pricing and tactics and not willing to commit to anything or reform the procedures that are driving people through their doorsI guess people have just become complacent and even grown to accept a certain level of deception and, unlike myself, eventually compromise once they are there [redacted] ***
