BUYERS BEWARE apparently poor or deceptive business practices at this location
Purchased a piece of furniture and paid with credit cardThe sales person never disclosed their rigid and inflexible return policyOnce the furniture was delivered we discovered it was too large for the room and called the next day with a request to returnCannot return and get a refund, only a store credit, which I declined, since I choose not to do a transaction with Rooms To Go ever againI was told by some rude person named Bob, tough luck, you should have read the back of the contract! The contract did have a description of their return policy printed in very light grey ink pretty hard for a seventy year old to read, even if we were made aware of it at time of purchaseI have bought many, many rooms of furniture from this company (in Florida) but will never deal with them againBUYERS BEWARE Slim Shady sells at Rooms To Go!

I am so upset apparently I'm dumb for listening to the salesman at Rooms To GoHe told me that the coffee table that I purchased was acrylic not actually glass and was shatterproofMind you I wasn't going to buy the glass tablesHe took me from where my stuff was located that I was purchasing and showed me the glass tables and swore up and down they were acrylicNow believing that you are NOT allowed to misrepresent your product because that is advertisement I bought glass mirror tables from Rooms To GoWhen I called to find out how to get the piece of what I was told and believed was acrylic everyone they acted like I was a *** because mirror is made of glass and not acrylicThey now refuse Freplace it or even let me return it and pay the difference on some that won't kill my children if they fell through itAnd had the audacity to tell me that my children wouldn't be harmed if I just tell them to stay away from itFirst of all I'm not the liar here your up-selling no regard for children's well-being sales department is and you are for not standing by your product second of all how dare you tell a woman she's overreacting her children aren't going to get hurt on glass if you tell them to stay away from it and make them mindThat you have children yourself and they didn't get hurtAs to imply that if my children just knew how to behave they wouldn't get hurt on glass tablesREALLY? Then the best part about all of it is they keep saying it's a simple repair for me to just call a glass company and have it fixedNot really the point considering you lied about the productThe product is now broken and you you won't fix itBut you'll give me the number to a glass company that canWhy don't you just fix it? Super convenientI do still have his cell# 678-596-its on his Rooms To Go business cardRon S*** is the manager or district manager that I spoke to over the phoneHe informed that there's nothing he can do for meThen in a very demeaning tone proceeded to tell me that mirror is glass not acrylicAgain I would have never disagreed with that if it wasn't for your lying salesman MrRuby S*I also went to the story the next day after that phone conversation because it I truly couldn't fathom that this is how a company is allowed conduct businessThere I spoke to the store manager I did not get his nameHe also needed to tell me mirror is glass not acrylic you could not see through itIf it was acrylic it wouldn't reflect up like mirrorAGAIN I get it!! I told him about the salesman and his up selling lying tacticsI asked him what mother would buy glass with children? His response was not only ignorant but appalling! He did look to see if I could order the piece that's broken from Rooms To GYou can't ! I do appreciate the effort, but feel like it's just not the right way to handle this situation

Bunk bed safety rail was broken upon delivery and has yet to be repaired after weeks Can't use the bed obviously and I want a full refund
I bought a bunk bed for my year old granddaughter and the top (most important) safety rail was broken upon arrival I've ordered three replacements so far and each time the wrong part shows up at the house The customer service rep seems to know exactly which part we need, but when the driver shows up, he's carrying a small box that is obviously not a foot railI'm done with this non-sense and want my money back If this compliant doesn't solve the problem, I'll go to court to get my money back

The salesman was Jeffrey K.(according to a recent email from Rooms-To-Go) At the point of sale, the salesman strongly suggested that my daughter purchase an Extended Warranty for the dresser My daughter and I hesitated because we have never had a bedroom dresser damaged, but the salesman persisted and said the Warranty would cover "anything" that ever happened to the dresser, and my daughter had planned to have the dresser last until my grandson went to college

In December I purchased a couch from RTG, which was delivered in January Recently the left side of the couch caved inI thought it was one of the springsA technician came out, made a report and left, and told me that I would be contacted by a customer service repI received a call several days later from a very rude rep, who informed that the the rail on my couch was broken, and there was nothing they could do for meI asked to speak to someone else and was told "no"I was told "no" several times during this short conversation and I'm disappointed in the quality of service I received and the fact that RTG does not stand behind it's products

We went to the Rooms To Go in Dunn, NC 8/7/and picked out a dining room table set with chairs & a wine cabinetWe were told it would be delivered 10/15/(we paid in FULL, no financing) Warehouse called us on 10/14/& told us they only had of our chairs (we paid extra for these particular chairs)Talked with sales rep & manager who stated that our remaining chairs would not be delivered until 12/28/16! We asked for the on the show room floor and they stated they would have to contact corp to see if they would allow us to do thatWe waited all day, called spoke to the manager of the store, called corporate with no one able to give us an answer until 4:45! We were then told that the chairs we picked out and paid for were discontinued and we may never get themAll I want are the chairs I paid for, off the showroom floor so that my table will be complete

Very disappointed with this company! They delivered couches and made some major damages to both of my front and garage interior door! The framing of each door is all ripped up from the movers forcing the couches in! Purchased a bed for my daughter on November 24th, RTG referred me to Acceptance Now for financing As most finance companies they require references We gave them the names of family membersWe know when the payment is due and how much it is suppose to be Acceptance Now will not only call both of us, but they will also call our references every month Its pretty much harassment We have had nothing but trouble out of Acceptance Now We have paid almost 3x the amount of what the bed is worth We have requested a statement from Acceptance Now on how the payments are applied to the balance They haven't been able to provide us with one You can't even sign onto their website to look up your account to see a balance It doesn't show the balance Talk with Acceptance Now representatives at the RTG showroom in Hoover, AL many times They have no idea how to explain how the payments are applied to the balance and why the balance is still an outrageous amount
