I received the documents Sallie Mae claims they originally sent, as as expected, it was my first time seeing them. They were never sent originally. They offer no resolution and still need to fix this issue.

I have a Sallie Mae Smart Loan that I have made early or on-time payments for the last 6 years. In the early years of this loan, I made additional payments on top of my required payments. I have called multiple times to receive documentation of these extra payments I have made and to this day have not seen any proof to where my money towards the loan went. For the last month I have been trying to release my co-signer. I sent all required documents to the address listed on the co-signer release website and spoke to multiple people who have claimed they never received my documents. Just now, I called and demanded a different answer in which I was told I may have sent the documents to the wrong address - one that was not listed on the website. I was clearly not happy with that response so the gentleman helping me put me on hold to look deeper "into the archives" and miraculously found my paperwork. I should hear something by the end of the week, but he couldn't send me an e-mail confirming that Sallie Mae indeed did have my documents. This company is AWFUL and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

We contacted the customer again and resolved the situation with him to his liking.

I did receive a call from a customer care advocate. She was nice and appeared to be concerned with the matter. However, there was no solution offered to me. There was not anything done about the employee at fault and at the end of it, I still have no financial relief.
