Select Home Warranty is mailing a check for the customers refund which was calculated according to the agreed upon Terms of Agreement.
I am rejecting this response because:Select Home warranty did not even read my last response at all because if they had they would have read that there were NO HOLES in my pipes and the problem with my well pump was the PUMP. The invoice from their tech they sent out states as such. The invoice they already attached. Select home warranty stated that they would do a secondary review after the repairs were complete and then pay if it was covered under my warranty. Once their tech was able to pull up the submersible well he was able to see the pump and the pipes. He discovered NO HOLEs in the pipes and he discovered the pumps impellers were broken causing very low to no water pressure to my home. The problem I am having is Select Home Warranty is not doing the secondary review they said they would, they keep reverting back to the original diagnosis prior to the tech pulling up the submersible well pump and pipes to deny the claim. The issue with this is [redacted] the supervisor with Select Home Warranty [redacted] stated that they would do the secondary review after the work was complete and they have not. Also during this process with this company they have given me multiple reasons why my claim was denied, in the beginning it was because they only cover wear and tear not mechanical break downs- By [redacted] from SHW. After I read the contract again I found that not to be true and called them back and spoke with Dan team lead with SHW and he said oh no she would not have said that we do cover both. Then he came up with some other reason- the well casing, which they do not cover but had nothing to do with my claim at all. I spoke with their tech who had come to my property and he said my well casing had nothing to do with the claim. Then it was I had my policy less then 3 months, I had to tell them when I started it in may. Now it is that I had holes in my pipes which their tech sent the invoice that I did not and I sent pictures of the pipes with NO HOLES in the pipes. So I know SHW is looking for anyway not to cover this claim. Fine. If they do not want to honor their contractual agreement then I would like a full refund of my policy.
Please contact our office and speak with someone in the claims department to discuss further regarding what was approved for repairs.

I am rejecting this response because:it was clearly the downstairs main unit never any confusion around what unit was broken.
Unfortunately we will not be able to do that. Once a dispute is filed those funds are taken out of our account until the disputes are closed out. At this point we need to wait for their determination in order to proceed. No additional funds due at this time.
The customer received a $155 reimbursement towards their refrigerator claim on 5/29/17. Since the customer had originally filed their claim with our office for the refrigerator within the first 3 months of coverage they received the maximum allowance and are capped out for any future refrigerator...
claims. In addition, when the customer contacted our office and filed the new refrigerator claim they specifically stated that the issue originally began when they moved into the house in January which is when the policy was paid for.Since the issue began before the policy effective date that claim was denied. During the same call the customer proceeded to file a claim for the stove. When asked when did the issue begin the customer informed us that the issue began since they moved into the house which again is denied as the issue began prior to receiving payment. All our calls are recorded for monitor and training purposes. We confirmed this information again today when listening to the recording from June 26 when the customer filed the refrigerator and stove claim. The customers claim for the refrigerator and stove have both been denied. No additional funds are due at this time.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], but I would still like to keep this open until I have check in hand. I've had so many people at that company tell me whatever seemed appropriate at the time and not follow through. When I get the check I will let the Revdex.com know.

Select Home Warranty processed a refund directly back to the customers' credit card on 07/17/2015
On 12/28/2014 the customer placed a plumbing claim for a hotwater pipe between their shower and tub that has busted, and the hot water hasto be shut off. The customer used ortechnician, [redacted] Plumbing, he went out originally and advised us that theydid some repairs and the issue was...
resolved, on 12/31/2014. The customer had the repairs done and sent in an invoice forrepairs and we advised we would review it, the invoices stated that the copperpiping had a leak and need to be repaired. We needed to get additionalinformation from the technician which is normal protocol. The Technician [redacted] spoke with aManager on 01/09/2015 at 5:15 pm EST and stated the following:Spoke w/ [redacted]) he stated that the 3/4 inch mainwas completely blown, he stated that it was not common and that it wasseriously corroded. He also stated that the stand-up shower and the tub werebuilt back-2-back and that only way to initially fix the pipe was to completelyremove the tub. [redacted] stated that he advisedthe customer that the tub could be removed or they could access the pipingthrough the wall between the tub and the shower (the spouts were installedback-2back) The customer agreed to accessing as it would be cheaper, he alsostated that the customer was aware that the wall would be unfinished and thecustomer would have to have it cosmetically redone. [redacted](tech) stated that inhis professional opinion that someone may have urinated on the piping due tocoloring of the corrosion(black green, which is more acidic) when the home wasbeing built or during the tub/shower installation.... This conversation was recorded and was pulled by Select HomeWarranty to review the technicians’ diagnosis. The copper piping did not bust due to normal wear and tear it bustedfrom corrosion. We discussed the diagnosis with the customer and advise duethe diagnosis being corrosion we are unable to move forward with the claim, being that corrosion falls outside of the coverage of the policy.
The customer has already been informed by multiple representatives that the maximum approved allowance on their claim is $200. No additional funds due at this time.
In order to process the reimbursement the form is required to be signed, and we will expedite the process
