I recently bought a car from Carvana and needed to use the Silver Rock warranty after the day test drive expired Long story short, the blind spot monitoring wasn't working and the dealership found that it was as a result of a minor collision, which wasn't reported to Carfax and wouldn't be covered under factory warranty Silver Rock approved the repair and did not haggle with the dealership on part price or labor, which even surprised the dealership Silver Rock came through for me

My car is under warranty for two months My air suspension has stopped lifting the vehicle which is a safety concern I talked to silver rock and they said take it to any shop The air pump for the suspension is burnt up, and at least one of the air shocks are damaged Now silver rock is saying it does not cover that It is my belief that silver rock is selling insurance policies and not following up on its end of the bargain I base this on my experience, multiple reviews, as well as other complaints filed with the BBC This will be my attempt to resolve this matter and get it fixed, my next step will be legal matters Malloy automotive assured me this policy would cover any big breakdowns, and would only not cover minor things like brakes, spark plugs, and other basic maintenance issues It is my belief they acted as a agent for Silver Rock by selling their policy, and mislead me into paying money for a policy that does not really cover much at all

July 20, 2017Marie GarciaRevdex.comPh###-###-####Fax ###-###-####RE: Complaint # ***Dear MsGarcia,Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity toaddress our customer’s concerns. On April 13, 2017, our customer purchased a Volkswagen
Jetta from DriveTimeAt the time of sale, our customer purchased a year/50,mile Vehicle Service Contract, administered by SilverRockAttached you will find the Vehicle Service Contract for your reference. On July 1, 2017, our customer contacted SilverRock with concerns that the vehicle was misfiringWe referred him to an in-network repair facility (INRF) to have the vehicle diagnosed and initiate a claimWe additionally advised he would be responsible for only a$deductible for any repairs covered under the terms of the Vehicle Service Contract(VSC)Likewise, we informed our customer if any repairs were not covered under the terms of the VSC, he would be responsible for the diagnostic fee and repairs would be his choice to authorize and pay for.On July 5, 2017, SilverRock was instructed by DriveTime to waive the diagnostic fee at an INRF and was advised DriveTime would review options for further assistance once a claim had been initiated with SilverRockHowever, no claim was filed with SilverRock by an INRF.On July 7, 2017, our customer contacted SilverRock and advised he had been informed there was an open recall on the vehicleWe encouraged him to contact the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to seek clarification on the recallWe advised should recall work be needed, it would be completed by the OEM at no cost to him; however, should any non-recall repairs be approved by SilverRock, a $out-of-network deductible would apply. On July 10, 2017, the OEM filed a claim with SilverRock for a coil packThe repairs were not approved, as this component is non-covered under the terms of the VSCLater that day, our customer contacted SilverRock to inquire into assistance with the non-covered repairsAfter review, we advised our customer that DriveTime had provided approval for the repairs as a goodwill gesture; however, he would be responsible for a $deductibleWithin the next minutes, the SilverRock Claims team reached out to the OEM and left a message authorizing the repairs.Shortly thereafter, our customer contacted SilverRock and advised he had paid out-of-pocket for the repairs, as the OEM had not received the authorizationAs we had already provided the OEM with the necessary authorization, we encouraged our customer to contact the OEM and request a refund for all but the $deductible he was responsible forOur customer was agreeable to this course of action, but followed up with SilverRock to advise the OEM would not issue him a refundTo remedy our customer’s situation, we asked him to send in the receipts for his out-of-pocket expenses so we could issue him a refund of $284.45, per his request and our authorization. On July 12, 2017, after receiving and reviewing our customer’s receipts, we advised him we issued a check for $and sent it to him via FedEx overnight shipping. On July 14, 2017, we contacted our customer and confirmed he had received the checkOur customer was satisfied with the assistance provided, and we ended our correspondence on amicable terms.Thank you for your ongoing support in allowing us the opportunity to address our customer’s concernsShould you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Relations department at ###-###-####.Thank you, Kayleigh B.Customer Relations

I purchased a car and with it came this warrantyI pay for this warranty as part of my noteHowever, it seems this warranty does nothing to protect meI have had my car LESS THAN SIX MONTHS! I've been doing all the maintenance stuff, but in this time there have been some challenges such as my trunk not locking, causing the trunk light to drain the batteryI needed a new thermostat within the first days, so that was coveredThe trunk issue is notNow, the engine light is on, so there's an engine related issueA hose/ valve of some sort has a hole in it and this repair is also NOT coveredThis DIRECTLY impacts the engineI CANNOT drive my carAnd I am paying for this service but I am not being servedSo what exactly is the point of this? And they hide all these "covered" issues in the contract which is paired with the car loanStop saying it's protection when it's notMost people can handle basic maintenance but not many have money to for replacement parts for these intri

On January 9, 2016, I purchased a Ford Focus SE from a car dealer in Montgomery, ALOn this date I purchased a year 36,mile vehicle warranty as well through the company Silver RockMy GAP insurance was purchased through AeverexIn July 2017, my vehicle would not crank; so I had to have it towed to a mechanic shop to get it looked at and see what needs to be doneTo make a long story short, I'm just finding out in July that Silver Rock no longer handle my vehicle warrantThey informed me, on a recorded line, that in October of Aeverex took over my vehicle warrantyI was never informed of this change to my policyThe only thing I signed my name to for Aeverex to handle was my GAP insurance on my vehicle; not the repairsSilver Rock has been giving me the run around about who covers my vehicle repairs stating that I would have to contact Aeverex for repair issues

Brought my car-Nissan Versa Black to AAMCO Signal Hill on 01/14/for a check engine lightAfter the diagnosis of the repair facility, they said that it was because if the wiring issuesin TransmissionThey called SilverRock Incbut they just denied the claimWhen I bought my car at DriveTime, I also purchased SilverRock warranty and my vehicle is cover till years and as per contract, Transmission is coverAAMCO did the repair, but when they began to start the car on 01/17/2019, the transmission is not working properly so they call again SilverRock for another claimSilverRock took days to review the claim, then they approved itIt took days for them to deliver the transmissionOn 01/26/2019, AAMCO called me that my car is ready to be picked upI paid $for everything, I noticed that, SIlverRock did not even cover the MAF AIRFLOW SENSOR, TRANSMISSION SENSOR, LABOR R& R Transmission Sensor and the LABOR for DIAGNOSTICMy car warranty is for yearsThey won't even reimburse me for my Lyft ride for weeksI am pursuing this complaintIt is unfair for us customers, who paid the warranty to pay a lot of money for repair

For full response, please see attached. On February 27, 2018, SilverRock received rental receipts from our customer for review of reimbursementThe receipts show a rental vehicle was utilized from January through February 24, After review of the receipts, SilverRock declined
providing rental reimbursement as neither of the abovementioned repairs required more than hours or more of labor time. Following receipt of our customer’s complaint, we reached out to DriveTime, our affiliate, to inquire if they are able to offer any exception or assistance towards our customer’s rental costsThey explained they would be willing to reimburse for February to February 24, 2018, for the ECM replacement at the $per day our customer paid, for a total reimbursement of $275.40. However, they would not be able to make an exception for the remaining time, as there is no indication repairs were underway or the vehicle had been at a repair facility during the remaining days our customer had the rental
