Review: I was scrolling the web trying to find a replicable company to cell my cell phone to and who would pay the most. The phone was a LTE Evo phone white in color. The compamy I found was Simply Sellular. They seemed legitimate. the gave me and order number [redacted] and promised to psy 45.00 dollars for my merchandise. I was given this order number on June 23rd 2014. They senrt me a self addressed envelope. I always take pictures of my merchandise and I also took picture of the envelope. I mailed my phone off on June 30th 2014. It is now July 9th 2014. When I try to call company the mailbox is full or they are not excepting calls. I even emailed this company. They did not respond to my email. I hate people that take from others purposely and lie. This is really wrong!I dont want anyone else to be suckered like I was. I later researched company on internet and their were 29 other people who were fooled by this company. I wish I had of looked at Ripoff report.com before I sent my phone that was in excellent working condition.Desired Settlement: I want my phone back in tip top condition or the $45.00 dollars promised to be posted to my pay pal account. I really would love to see business closed down. It nneds to be taken off the internet.

Review: This company offers to purchase cellular devices from consumers. I submitted for a quote on a brand new device that was given to me as a gift, and submitted this through their website. I was given a quote and accepted the offer, $175. I received a package in the mail for to ship my device back to the company. The company provides a return label and packaging for your the shipped equipment. I shipped my device using the information that was provided in the packaging sent from the company to ensure a successful delivery. After a two months, I never received the funds that was to be awarded for the purchase of my smartphone. I followed-up on the transaction and spoke with someone very briefly about it. I was told that they never received my shipment and that they could not find the equipment in their data base using my account number, a processing number or an order number. I was told that I should check with the shipping company, even though I used the shipping package the company supplied for the returned equipment. The person denied reception and stated that he cannot offer to track the shipping, nor offer compensation without delivery. Simply put, this company stole my smartphone and refused to pay for the device as the quote that was offered. I'm sure this is a continuing scam that has been run on thousands of consumers looking to conduct honest business. The owners(s)/operator(s) of this company needs to be sued, sentenced and bankrupted for misleading consumers, unethical business practices, misleading consumers, held for the many accounts of theft and forced to pay their debts with consumers, all while relinquishing all records data files and equipment to be seized.I went 2 months without cellular communication that prevented me from performing my job functions and added to my expenses of purchasing a replacement device of $200.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to be put out of business and denied the practice and participation of any other business operation.I wish to recover my lost expenses involved with my device of time, shipment cost, replacement cost and the quoted purchase fund. $12 Shipping$175 Quote$200 Replacement device$200 Cellular service billed$587 Total losses to be awarded.

Hello,

We do have an order created by [redacted] on 03/17/13 to sell a Nokia Lumia 820 for $175 usd. We provided a FedEx Ground label #[redacted] which was never used per FedEx. [redacted] contacted us twice on 06/10/13 regarding this order. We informed that no phone was ever received. We asked how the phone was shipped and to provide us with tracking so we may look into this matter. Per customers own words he paid $12 for shipping again stated in desired settlement. If customer paid for shipping they would be responsible for package and presumably insurance claim if neccessary. To date we have not received the Nokia Lumia 820 nor a tracking number or proof of delivery. We will continue to work with the customer and notify them immediately if order is received.

Review: Simply Sellular buys used phones. They sent me an envelop to send in my phone. They acknowledged receiving it and I could look up on line that they had completed testing it. I sent the phone in on 7-26-14 and they showed the testing was complete on 8-4-2014. I was supposed to get a check for $25 "within 5 days" per their letter. It said they could guarantee the price quoted if I sent back the phone within 72 hours of receipt of the envelop. I sent it the same day and received acknowledgement that they had received it. I have not received the promised check of $25. I have tried calling and it says that line is busy. I have tried e-mail and get no reply. I thought they were an honest company, but since not hearing from them I have read many complaints about them on line. Same problem, they take the phone and either don't respond or only give you a few dollars. I feel they are cheating people by taking their phones and then not paying them for them.Desired Settlement: I would like the $25 they promised in their letter. Thank you.

Review: On 4/013/14 I accepted an offer of $150 each for 2 Brand New Sprint Samsung Note 2's. While I received a fed ex label for the phones, I chose to send the phones UPS so I could insure the phones for what they were worth-no the $20 insurance offered on the fed ex label. These phones were sent UPS Second day air. I have proof of delivery showing these phones were received and signed for by Simply Sellular on 4/16/14 (see below). While checking the status of my order I see the site is still showing as not received, while I have the proof it has been. The phones were sent because I needed the money to pay bills and was guaranteed that the funds would be in my PayPal account within 2 days after receiving the phones. The phones were received on 4/16/14 and the site is still showing not received with no funds being in my account. I have notarized statements from 3 different cell phone repair shops that these phones are free of any defects and are in perfect working condition. Therefore I know I cannot be told the company cannot say the phones were received damaged. I have emailed numerous times with no response.I want the $300 in my account TODAY as promised or the phones returned to me in the same shape as they were sent. I have the ESN number for both phones & will know if the phones returned are incorrect. If the phones are returned because Simply Sellular stated they are damaged, then I want them sent back to me at the address given on the form to the company next day air. I believe this is fair as the company claims the phones were never received. I needed the money or would not have sent them to this company. While I have done business with this company before, and had very fast results, I did not think quick enough to realize this was the same company who stated the last time I sent 2 phones worth over $500 each they were never received.Desired Settlement: I want the $300 in my account TODAY as promised or the phones returned to me in the same shape as they were sent. Hello,

We believe this was resolved back in April but, wanted to provide a reply for the record. Regarding Simply Sellular Order 152145 phone(s) received using our FedEx label on 04/16/14 and logged into our system on 04/18/12. We are closed on the weekend so payment was issued 04/21/14 via PayPal. We issue PayPal payments automatically using PayPal Mass Payment feature. The PayPal email field was left blank by [redacted] when order created online. She emailed us inquiring about payment and issue corrected. The following morning [redacted] received full payment of $300 USD on 04/22/14. We truly appreciate the business and hopeful [redacted] will continue to use Simply Sellular in the near future.

Thank You!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: About 7 months ago I sent them my old phones for which I was to be paid for. I have yet to be sent anything. I have tried to be patient , but I'm at the end of my rope. First when I sent them my old phones I was to receive payment of $75.00 but when they received my phones they sent an e-mail stating my phones were only worth $5.00 for two phones. When asked I was told my phones were damaged and that is all they were worth. I then said, had I known this I wouldn't have wasted the time and asked that they send my phone's back. I was then told that they have already been recycled and could not send them back. First and last, either I want my phones back or I want the original payment quoted. If I happen to get my phones back I will donate them to Goodwill.Desired Settlement: Either my phones back or the original price quoted.
