Before customers commit to our 14 day free trial, our customers have to affirm and acknowledge the terms & conditions for our auto ship program by marking the T&C check-boxes.According to our records, customer ordered our product the Skin Optics on a 14 day trial basis back on 03/15/2016 and paid the shipping and handling fee of $4.95. The trial expired on 03/29/2016 and due to the fact that the customer didn’t cancel they were charged $89.95 for the original shipment.Customer contacted our Customer Service on 03/31/2016 and requested for her subscription to be cancelled, which we did .However we feel for our customer’s concerns and do apologize for the inconvenience, thus will be providing a refund of the charge on 03/29/2016 for Skin Optics $89.95. Refunds should reflect on customer’s account within 3 to 5 business days. Please relay this information to our customer and feel free to let us know should you have further questions.

This company reigns you in by offering a sample product that you can USE for a trial of 14 days. It is a sample that you pay for and agree to pay for, however what is not disclosed to you is that your trial starts on date of purchase so technically you do not get 14 days to try the product and then they charge you $89 a month if you do not cancel an account they never told you they were making for you. This company is a scam. When you call customer service the lady told me the company was called what was on my box and I asked her again what the name was and she told me skin optimum...which isn't even the same. The automation never gives any company information or says the name it only says..please hold to speak with someone. They tell you this is all disclosed in their terms and conditions but they are very hard to find and I don't believe that they clearly outline their business model to new customers...IT IS A SCAM

arial, sans-serif;">Our company strives to make sure that our customers are 100% satisfied, so we take consumer complaints very seriously. Before customers commit to our 14 day free trial, they are given the terms and conditions explaining that if they don’t cancel their trial within 14 days of  the order, they will be charged for the full amount of the product and also will be put on a monthly subscription to receive product every month until they cancel.
According to our records, customer ordered our products (the Skin Optics and the Eyessentials) on a 14 day trial basis back on 01/10/2016 and paid the shipping and handling fees of $4.95 and $5.95. The trial expired on 01/24/2016 and due to the fact that customer didn’t cancel, she was charged $89.95 and $86.95 and the autoship program took effect.
Customer finally contacted our Customer Service on 02/28/2016 for Skin Optics and Eyessentials and requested for accounts to be cancelled and also wanted a full refund.  She accepted a courtesy $45.00 refund for Skin Optics and $45.00 refund for Eyessentials and her account was cancelled.  The customer also issued a dispute through their bank, and per our records have been credited their full amounts for Eyessentials.
We feel for our customer concerns and do apologize for the inconvenience, thus will be providing full refunds for the amount of $89.95 for the Skin Optic on 1/24 and remaining $49.90 on the second shipment on 2/23. Refunds should reflect on customer’s account within 3 to 5 business days.
Please relay this information to our customer and feel free to let us know should you have further questions.

Dear Sir,
In response to skin optics letter, as my original complaint explains after receiving my free trial product package I was surprised to find 2 items enclosed as I had only ordered the skin optics cream trial product. The package included an eyessential cream never pictured in the online advertising. The website is misleading as it only pictures 1 product when the trial is ordered.  I gave no authorization for 2 charges to my account. I was surprised to find 2 items enclosed in same bag I only signed up for skin optics free trial as in picture will send you picture & other people they scammed .The website is not truthful does not list they charge you both items. After trying the trial product  I broke out in Hives on my face, I immediately told them I wanted a refund and to cancel, this was May 19th. I spoke with a women with an accent who was very rude, she put me on hold and then hung up. There was no receipt in trial bag, no phone numbers until I [redacted]d this item and saw this product scams your money. I called back speaking to a Trey he put me on hold again and hung up after I gave my name and gave my e mail. He never confirmed anything and I got nothing back.I believe my order was cancelled at that time ,again no prices listed they charged me 2x. I only work part time and would never agree to anything over $10 I am only 21yrs old. After I received another unwanted delivery on June 21, 2016  tracking number #  [redacted] U.S.P.S. of 2 items, again no receipt in bag, and no phone number. another charge I did not approve!  I panicked, went to check my account and they charged me again in May 2times  $89.95 & $86.95. Again in June they charged me 2 times for this eye cream that I did not order. Thieves at it again, I contacted the company and spoke to a Willy again he was RUDE TO ME AND HUNG UP ON ME IN THE MIDDLE OF TELLING HIM THE STORY. I [redacted]d another number under skin optics & tried the number listed on my credit card bank statement. I spoke to [redacted] explaining to him how this company is a stealing my money. He hung up on me then called back because I told him I would report him to news 12 & news 4 N.Y.  & the B.B.B. . He agreed to give me credit of $70.00 on each product which  should have been for the  May charge . I  only got  credit for one $70.00 amount, I told him I DIDNT  AUTHORIZE the other company (Eyessential)  to withdraw from my account. I filed a dispute at the bank and of course skin optics didn't give all the info of the other calls I had made and the fact that I had gotten hives from the product.  Since the beginning of this dispute here is the update, I'm enclosing a copy of my bank records to prove , they took money in August 4 times that came to  $364.20.
This is what the company is owes to me :                                       ...  5/23/2016   $86.95   @   5/23/2016   $89.95      charged on card
                                        ... /> 6/21/2016     $94.90  @ 6/21/2016     $92.90      charged on card

6/27/2016    I Received $71.17 credit for  only one 1 product. Should have been another $71.17 for an additional product.
IN JULY THE BANK ORDERED THEM TO GIVE ME CREDIT
7/6/2016      $88.95 credit : 7/6/2016     $89.95 credit  : 7/6 /2016  $94.90 credit : 7/6/2016  $ 92.90 credit. For a total of 4 credits.
IN AUGUST THEY CHARGED ME  4 TIMES :
8/8/2016    $86.95 CHARGED MY ACCOUNT : 8/8/2016  $ 92.90 CHARGED MY ACCOUNT : 8/8/2016 CHARGED MY ACCOUNT  $94.90 : 8/8/2016  CHARGED MY ACCOUNT $89.95
PLEASE CREDIT MY ACCOUNT $435.87 as this is the total amount I am owed. Please CONTACT TEACHERS CREDIT UNION AND ADVISE THEM OR HAVE A MONEY ORDER SENT TO THE BANK.
Thank you for all your cooperation in this matter.    [redacted]

I received my product 10 days ago and tried calling for 2 days to cancel the subscription. On day 1, I called 2 separate times and was on hold for 10 minutes and 15 minutes. On day 2, I called and after 15 minutes of being on hold I still could not get through so I left my call back number but never received a call back. Today I was automatically charged $89.95 and I called at 7:15 am and was able to reach a representative. When I told her that I had been trying to reach someone for 2 days she replied "well ma'am, this is a call center, what do you expect". Well I tell you what I expect, I expect my $89 to be returned but she said that it would not and said "have a great day"! Product is no better than what you would purchase at your local CVS or Walgreens. What a scam ! I am not uneducated and I searched for the terms upon paying my initial fee but did not see anything. I assumed that I would receive instructions on them of my order and/or how to cancel once my order was received. All I received was a 4 x6 postcard with the 888 number to call. Again, I did try calling on 3 occasions and even left my call back number to no avail. Lastly, this is a 14 day trial but since it takes 4 days for the product to ship you technically only have a 10 day window to call and cancel should you not like the product. Very deceptive as 10 days is not sufficient to see any results and make an educated decision as to whether or not you would like to continue using the product.

I agree with the other reviews I read that this company is a scam. No where on the site where you order your trial sample does it disclose that you are agreeing to a monthly charge of $89,95 and that you must cancel within 14 days to not be charged this. Their advertisement is extremely misleading. I intend to fight with them to get a refund and dispute the charge with my bank. Shame on them!!

The product didn't do any more than a drug store cream.

Beware: After your introductory trial the price for both Skin Optics and Eye Essentials (sister product) will go up to a $89 and $70 price point. (read fine print terms and conditions when ordering before you hit the check mark). The phone numbers for both often change, and so here are the current phone numbers for each if you need to call to cancel. If you like the product, they will offer discount on further orders. I felt that the product did not live up to the price.

Although the company says that somewhere in the fine print it says you must cancel order within 15 days, I did not see that and subsequently incurred two almost $90 charges. I will suck it up but I truly feel there needs to be a more obvious stating of this fact for consumers to see. I truly thought I was getting a sample to try and not making a future commitment to this company.
