I had no frozen pipes their technician disconnected a wire that was attached to my pump and my thermostat that would not as they say connect to each other and start boiler to provide heatThank god my friend who is a licensed plumber and works for *** plumbing division for over 30yrs fixed it by reconnecting the loose wireSo as for Slomins helping me in anyway NO all they did was upset my pregnant wife and myselfAs for free service it's not free nothing is free so Slomin's is good for oil and sometimes I question that also but as for explaining and listening they are far apart and would never recommend them to anyoneYes *** said get proof and I can not give any since I really was not charged only paid a friend travel and food expenses and also my blow torch I had to buy for "frozen" pipes so out bucks oh well.
I think the company knows it's tech made a mistake and can't or won't addmitt the truth but I see nothing will happen anyway but until my contract is up they better deliver my oil on time and maintain my boiler as in so call free service plan when I call until sept 2015

automatic delivery to receive our guaranteed fixed heating price of $for twelve months. *** ***’s price agreement states that upon expiration, Slomin’s will continue to make automatic deliveries at Slomin’s retail heating oil price on the date of delivery *** *** also had the option to lock in a new fixed rate or cancel without penalty once his agreement expired but neither was done. On 10/*/2014, *** *** contacted our customer service center to discuss a new oil price *** *** did not accept our new fixed price offer at that time however informed our representative David that he would call back to our office. The next contact *** *** had with our office was on 10/**/after Slomin’s delivered to his home. Slomin’s retention department specialist *** reminded *** *** of our automatic delivery policy as indicated in his agreement. The price per gallon that *** *** was charged on 10/**/was $per gallon. This price was $higher than *** *** fixed rate of $that expired on 9/**/ On the date of delivery the average home heating oil cost for long island was $which Slomin’s charged well below. (See attached ***) During this call *** *** requested to have his account cancelled because he would now be using a Cash On Delivery company. (COD) The market price for oil is still averaging $per gallon. The price of $per gallon *** *** mentions in his complaint is well below current average cost. Though oil prices below $per gallon may be available for purchase with a COD company if gallons or more is ordered, Slomin’s is not a COD company. As a full service provider, Slomin’s is very competitive within current market conditions but our prices as well as other full service companies cannot be compared to COD companies. Slomin’s supplies oil deliveries to its customers and allows up to thirty days for the oil to be paid for. COD companies require payment by credit card prior to the delivery being made or cash payment at time of delivery. Slomin's has always cooperated with The Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention. We are family owned and operated company that has been in the business of taking care of homeowners since 1923. Slomin's takes its responsibilities to its customers very seriously and endeavors to achieve superior customer relations. As of 10/**/*** ***’s account has been cancelled and the balance for the last delivery was paid in full on 11/**/Unfortunately Slomin’s cannot issue any refund to *** ***. The business never mentioned my dissatisfaction with the serviceAs I stated, the technician came to my house to fix my alarmWhen he left my home, he said," The alarm was in working order." However, that night it did not workI called them the next day and they wanted me to set up another appointment with another technician to fix the broken alarmThis alarm company has dissatisfied me The alarm to this day does not work and I continue to be billed I want to cancel my contract with ZERO penalty for the stress, anxiety ( I am on *** and have my five year old daughter sleeping in my bed with me because of this faulty alarm), and an alarm that doesn't workI am completely uncomfortable with having people in my house over and over again claiming they are fixing my alarm when clearly they aren't because it doesn't workThis is not putting me at ease to have people coming into my house while I am alone with my little girlThem offering a dollar penalty discount for cancellation is unfairMy cancellation fee should be free considering all this unfair stress that I don't need considering my anxiety issuesI am unsatisfied and just want this to be over withStop charging me and cancel my service without a penalty fee. On 12/**/2014, the ***’s did indeed refuse our attempt at making an oil delivery to their home. However this was not the first time a delivery was refused while under contract. On 3/**/a delivery was refused and our driver was informed that they also burned wood to supplement heat in the home. The ***’s next deliver was re-projected and made on 4/**/On 6/**/2014, Slomin’s attempted to make the next scheduled automatic delivery and it was refused again with the request that their next delivery be held until September which we honored. Slomin’s made the next scheduled delivery to the ***’s home on 9/**/2014. After the 9/**/delivery the ***’s approximate gallons was fulfilled. When Slomin’s attempted to make the next delivery on 12/**/2014, as already mentioned the delivery was refused. As done for the ***’s prior the next delivery was re-projected. The delivery made on 1/**/went out as scheduled because there was no request made to cancel the account After reviewing *** ***’s complaint, he makes many references to Cash on Delivery oil suppliers. Slomin’s is a full service heating company and should not be compared to COD. As a full service supplier, Slomin’s is able to reserve future fuel supply and offer guaranteed fixed rates which are very competitive based on market conditions. Also the automatic deliveries are intended to give consumers who choose a full service company the peace of mind of not having to worry about their oil deliveries, especially during the winter months and risk running out of oil. COD oil prices are intended to attract consumers by the low fuel cost they can offer, but their prices can also vary based on current market conditions and/or the amount of fuel that is ordered. To get a low price typically you would have to order gallons or more and to get their best price would have to order gallons or more . COD suppliers also require payment in full before the delivery is made by credit card or by cash at the time the delivery is made. The delivery that Slomin’s made to ***’s residence on 1/**/was delivered at $per gallon which was $less than their previous fixed rate On that date of delivery the average home heating oil cost for the lower hudson region was $per gallon which Slomin’s charged well below(See attached www.nyserda.gov) Slomin's has always cooperated with The Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention. Slomin's takes its responsibilities to its customers very seriously and endeavors to achieve superior customer relations. On 1/**/*** *** spoke with Slomin’s *** *** *** *** who offered her a new fixed rate of $2.449. The offer was not accepted at that time but *** *** advised *** that she would call back after speaking with *** ***. On 1/**/*** *** contacted our office by phone and email to request his account be cancelled which was done the same day. In an attempt to resolve *** ***’s complaint, Slomin’s is willing to settle the 1/**/delivery made of gallons at the $per gallon offer given on 1/**/if full payment of $is received by 3/**/2015. What Slomin's fails to say is that my primary purpose for doing the upgrade was for the ability to access my home security system via my phone when I am not at homeThis was told to the salesman directly when he visited my homeThe ability to access via the web or laptop is moot since I don't travel with a desktopThey also do not mention I was told the fix would be in a few days to a week and it has now been two monthsI had a perfectly fine functionioning alarm system which THEY told me they had to replace in order to get the phone accessWhen I called to find out why the phone app was not available yet, I was told it was not Android but it was my Samsung Galaxy Sthat was the issue.I asked them to to either reinstall the old system or refund the purchase price as I do not have the benefit that I signed on for.At this point the only other solution I can think of is that Slomin's voids my contract and I will pay my account balanceIs that acceptable?

to our office that they have no heat in the home, during the winter months is always a priority When same day emergency service is requested the average wait time is expected to be four to five hours. Some days when we are very busy the average wait time can be up to six to eight hours Expected wait times can also be hindered if customer requests a particular time frameWith that being said Slomin’s still tries to minimize wait times and adhere to a reasonable requested time frame where ever possible. Slomin’s does try to service emergency calls in the order as they come in. However if it is sensible for us to service another customer who is in the immediate area we would do so Trying to honor a customer’s requested time frame can also affect the order of response to a service visit. On 3/**/when *** *** reported her no heat issue. *** *** requested our technician not arrive before 12:pm. Because *** *** requested the afternoon, the window of time for Slomin’s technician to arrive would have been from 12:00pm to approximately 5:00pm. *** *** contacted our office several times the afternoon of 3/**/because she was unhappy expected wait time for our technician. At approximately 3:00pm Slomin’s technician was dispatched to *** ***’s home and arrived at approximately 3:50pm which was within four hours of *** *** requested time frame of after 12:00pm. Slomin’s has always cooperated with The Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention. Slomin’s does apologize for any inconvenience *** *** feels we may have caused her and her family but we do not believe that we have conducted ourselves in any manner that would warrant intervention. *** *** fixed price agreement is in effect until 8/**/or up until delivered gallons, whichever comes first. To date, *** *** has taken gallons. As mentioned in the guaranteed fixed heating oil price agreement, “all of customer’s heating oil requirements must be purchased from Slomin’s and is supplied under Slomin’s automatic delivery system” Any new client who does not agree with the agreement terms and conditions after reviewed in its entirety can cancel within three business days without penalty. (See attached guaranteed fixed heating oil pricing agreement and notice of cancellation) Slomin’s automatic delivery system weighs many factors. Factors include the customer’s prior usage, weather forecast, and the number of delivery vehicles available. Because *** *** just began her relationship with Slomin’s in February 2014, we do pay extra attention to new accounts as we do not have a complete delivery history to maintain a more accurate delivery schedule On each delivery our intent is to fill the oil tank when we estimate the customer is at approximately half but *** ***’s account had instructions not to deliver more than gallons on each delivery. Slomin’s does allow its customers to go on a call before delivery status should they request it. *** ***’s account was on our call before status. Although a specific reason is not mandatory to go on call before, this request is meant to assist those customers who may have pets or locked gates and need to be notified when their delivery will be coming. Slomin’s customers do have the option of declining their automatic scheduled delivery which was done many times on *** ***’s account. If a delivery is turned away by our customer, it then gets re-projected Customer’s that refuse oil deliveries can sometimes hinder Slomin’s automatic delivery schedule. By refusing deliveries, customers must be mindful of their oil levels because if they allow themselves to run out of oil they will be responsible for the cost associated with service to have the boiler restarted. Furthermore if a customer declines to take their scheduled delivery multiple times, their account can be subject to termination for inactivity. Slomin’s made its first delivery to *** ***’s home on 2/**/for gallons. On 3/**/Slomin’s contacted the home to arrange for the next scheduled delivery and it was refused Slomin’s made multiple attempts for oil delivery to *** ***’s home from March until June but the deliveries continued to be refused. Upon the start of the new heating season as of 10/**/2014, *** ***’s account was up for review due to being inactive for oil delivery for more than six months On 10/**/2014, *** *** contacted our office to arrange for an oil delivery. *** *** was informed the soonest a delivery could be made to her home was on Monday 11/**/because it was Friday after 4:00pm when delivery was requested. When delivery was attempted on 11/**/2014, our driver only delivered gallons. Our driver believed there to be a problem with the vent alarm and suggested service to check and/or replace if necessary This service is considered to be very important to Slomin’s because it assist in determining when the tank is full and can help prevent a possible oil spill. Also when checking the vent alarm if no problem is found, than that is usually an indication that the oil tanks is full and would confirm why we were not able to make a full delivery An appointment was put on hold for *** *** to call and arrange for this service at her convenience within our business hours but no calls were made to do so. On 11/**/2014, *** *** contacted our office and informed our representative that oil was purchased for her home from another company and she was unhappy with her price per gallon. *** *** was informed that purchasing oil from an outside supplier violates her agreement for automatic delivery. With the history of previous delivery refusal, unresolved vent alarm service and oil being purchased from another supplier, *** ***’s account was cancelled. Slomin’s has always cooperated with the Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention and we are open to your suggestion in this matter. As a full service provider, it is Slomin’s responsibility to ensure that our customers do not run dry and that the heating oil is delivered in the most efficient manner possible.
