The initials Charges was three times by LBF TravelIf it was three times Charges US Airways refunded $and on April 1st, LBF Travel refunded $remaining one more chargers to be refundedSimple math Charges - refunds = remaining refunded to be credited to my account*** clearly spoke with the Bank and the Bank made it very clear to *** that, LBF is still holding one more amount of $257.46]

I am not satisfied with the response because they did not refund $out of the amount charged to my credit card despite claims on their website of 'free cancellation' and also Department of Transportation guideline of free cancellation

*** *** The problem with the answer is there was a difference in airphare that was a credit The exchange went from a $1023.50/person to a $560.50/person or a credit of $463.00/person that was not credit back to my credit card Total credit of $was never givenAlso as far as the charge for new ticket exchange Cheap Fares claims they follow the airline charges for an exchange jet Blue's charge would have been $130.00/person with no additional fees Therefore is the company that calls themself's Cheap Fares really selling cheap airline fares???

I had made a booking over the phone with smartfares.com on may 15th at 11pm, eastern time, the agent refused to just email me a price quote, and insisted on getting my credit card number to secure this ticket and stated I can cancel within hrsI did not like the trip route he was sending me on when I checked my email the next morning, I called this business to cancel the ticket, the agentwas rude and said my ticket is non-refundable, I called within a hr time-frame, smartfares took my credit info and booked the tickets with south african airlines, I was told their computer systems are linked to the airline , I called the airlines and they said I booked this through the travel agency and they cannot help me, I have been going back and fourth calling smartfares and the airlines and keep getting transferred from person to person, I even filed a dispute with my credit card company american express, american express has denied my claim and went in favor with smartfares since I provided this merchant with my credit info, smartfares said they cannot refund my money for the ticket because I had filed a dispute with the credit card company.This issue is still not resolved , I do not receive a full refund and neither do I have a legit ticket to travel , smartfares also tried to extort another $more to re-instate my airline ticket, I refusedSpoke to a supervisior *** ***, also a *** ***, very dissatisfied , nothing is resolved I made numerous phone calls wasted many hours and days on the phone very month since may All I asked for was a full refund or to re-instate my ticket with no additional cost to meNo one at smartfares have called or contacted me backI am disgusted and appalled with the customer service I received from this businessI do not recommend doing business with this company

I understand the frustration regarding the misspelling on one of the airline tickets. I am showing name was spelled as *** *** rather than *** It is important to have all names read exactly the same as your passport when flying internationally.
This was an agent error on our side. Mr*** should never had to wait so long to have this correctedIt is never easy working with the airline due to these type of errorsI am showing the name change was completed I am showing everyone flew on the outbound. I will reach out to Mr *** when they return after July to confirm all went well

The first one clearly states in red that the flight you chose was on a different date than you initially requestedThe site will show a few options for a different date even a nearby airport to give you cheaper options and you must have chosen it without noticing the alternate date. Unfortunately we are not responsible for this error as there is no human interaction once a booking is created on the website.The airline only allows a 24hour window to cancel and refund without penalty and after that time frame we are at the mercy of the carrier as are you. This is an absolutely ATROCIOUS company
advertising, insecure information sharing, horrid service, and zero explanations for any of itAfter several attempts of trying to book the same flight, I have given this "company" too many benefits of the doubtI should have read the reviews on TripAdvisor prior to giving this travel site a chance
In all honesty, the mediocre review from the Revdex.com for SmartFares really makes me question the integrity and diligence of this review processThere are zero redeeming qualities of SmartFares and for Revdex.com to not condemn SmartFares is an injustice

What I booked with SmartFares was a roundtrip ticket with *** Airlines. They offered me equivalent tickets with United Airlines. United Airlines' fares are in general $lower than *** Airlines' fares for the same routing. This is bait and switch.SmartFares put the burden on their customers to micro-manage what they are supposed to do in that their customers have to constantly check if the tickets are issued or not. By locking you in as a prospect through getting your credit card information, it is less likely that you will book with other travel agencies in the event where the fares that they offered increases because the original reservation is "canceled by the airline"

Ms*** booked her hotel the morning of Dec for the evening of Dec 5. Her email states under Hotel confirmation (processing). Unfortunately the hotel came back unable to confirm the rate. Another email was sent to Ms*** at 1243pm on Dec stating the
hotel reservation has been cancelled. Our system can only put one reason for cancellation. Incomplete credit card verification is just a generic reason. Our agents tried to contact Ms*** and left a voice mail to advise the hotel was not availableLast minute booking with no confirmation returned

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was told by Smart Fares that my tickets would be refunded as long as I canceled within hours of booking my trip My Tickets were not refunded We have been dealing with this for over two months now and have not gotten anywhere with this company When we call them they consistently say that they are working on it but need hours and they will call us back We never receive a return phone call No where in their hour cancellation policy does it say that the cost of the tickets will affect whether we get our money back I was told by "***" , who processed my cancellation, that the full refund would appear within hours of my cancellation I would not have canceled if I was told I would not get my money back Now I have no tickets and no refund

** On April 30, Traveler helpdesk (Smartfares) $10,** On May 1st, Traveler helpdesk (Smartfares) split the amount to two transactions of $5,and $5,(Total is $10,566.83)
** On Monday May 4th, Traveler helpdesk (Smartfares) charged me again for the amount of $10,- We got many promises to calculate the total paid amount minus the actual tickets value then samrtfars refunds any extra paid amount.

I explained to Mr*** he will receive the refund amount he paid. Only if the airlines will agree to a refund waiverWe are awaiting their reply. My error was stating the wrong amount. I advised this was my error
