We do not control airline ticket inventoryInventory is uploaded by the airlines directly through a Global Distribution System (GDS) that syncs up with our website, as well as all other websites selling airline ticketsWhile inventory may show available while the customer is going through
the booking process, sometimes we are unable to confirm the reservationCustomer's are always notified as soon as possible via email and/or phone call
I do not even see an intial confirmation of this reservation in our systemThe inital confirmation states that we received the reservation request but tickets have not been issued and the booking is not confirmedOnce tickets are issued (generally within minutes of online booking), the customer is notified with a second confirmation email which provides ticket numbers

I have communicated with Ms***. I explained this was our error. We have since refunded her the difference.This case has been resolved

Booked a flight and they deducted money from my card only to be told mins later that my booking was cancelled due to non-confirmationI was offered another flight that was 200% more
I asked the advisor to send me confirmation of the cancellation before I would book another flightI got an email from someone named Valentine that did not even look officialI was then told that a refund would take hours as well as confirmation that the initial booking had been cancelled
From reading reviews on other sites, it appears that they reel you in with a prospective cheap flight, obtain your bank details and then try and sell you a more expensive alternativewhilst deducting a small amount from your credit card that you will never chase

First they didn't mention a word about bad customer service, nor even found them apologize for it.
Enclosed is the screen shot which I got after reservation, that's the accurate information which I submitted but the reservation made was with wrong name "*** *** ***"
So this time Office Manager is refusing my serious and genuine complaint and denying the mistake at their end, I told politely before that problem happen and I have screen shot,
and also this was my 2nd Ticket on same date so I was much conscious and fill in accurate detail's already
That's completely shows rude behaviour of its company and I would like to inform other consumer for this behaviour too, I believe Revdex.com.Org is launched for consumer benefit, and they will make may reviews and conversation publish ASAP , (I allowed them to cut of the un-necessary details and private information if they like too)I don't want to mention but I am in IT since last year's and I never saw a perfect system in my life so who ever is claiming no bug's is ignorant or hiding the fact they already know and not wanted to correct it to earn from it.

I was ultimately not charged, but that is not the damage doneThe company purports to confirm a reservationThe red text in the "reservation" that "clarifies" that the reservation is not done is small print and should not excuse the companyThat the entirety of a long email is true doesn't mean that it is not misrepresentedThe law doesn't excuse true but misleading communications.Here, the fraudulent behavior consists of "confirming" a reservation at a low price (even if the email says in small print that it is not confirmed), and then when the client is at the airport hoping to board the flight, Smartfares gets to sell them a ticket at a higher price because the client will be forced to buy it (given the time constrains that he is placed on).This is outright poor business behavior, and if not fraudulent, it is unethical and should be curbed.Revdex.com:

It is very frustrating to us that because of a mistake that Smartfare made we had to spend an additional $ If they had done what they said they had done, we would not have had to spend the additional $to complete our trip WE do not understand why we should pay such a significant amount of money for their mistake.Thank you,*.***

After researching *** complaint. We have determined this was an agent error. Our agent neglected to cancel the original booking when *** advised him she did not want to pay more
When another agent called her regarding the credit card declined she neglected to advise
the confirmation numberTherefore she was not aware our agent was talking about her first booking
We will be refunding the first booking that was issued in error. A refund in the amount of $will be processed
The second ticket purchased by Ms*** will stay as is. This includes the cancellation insurance

Resolved issue

Surprisingly, when the travel agency in question got the same information as I sent to you, they called on Monday Sept28, again on Tuesday Sept(they had made a big mistake, so sorry) , and on WedSeptthe company refunded the entire $in question While my complaint has been
resolved, this practice was abhorrent and should be investigated furtherI have attached all of my documentation for your information But my issue has been resolved If you have any questions, I would be glad to provide answers However, "***" who called from the travel agency was most pleasant and very cooperative*** *** ***

We found duplicate bookings for Mr***. Duplicate ticket was refunded on Nov 11,
Issue resolved

This situation has been resolved. Our agent was able to find alternatives flights which she agreed to

I researched this booking and found the passenger called to cancel. The tickets were voided however the money was never refunded to the credit card
We have refunded the $back to original form of paymentI will email the passenger to advise

company refunded my money and hopefully it will not take it back like it did

So I can get hung up on, ignored, stressed from not knowing if I will get home when im scheduled to, spending hours in an area so I get reception waiting for a phone call from an agent when they made promises they would have it fixed??? Are you serious? Why should I trust them? I even had the manager at the ticket counter speaking to them and she was in disbelief at how I was treated by this company I even have all the transactions from her regarding from the time I purchased this ticket til the time I FINAL got the revised ticket So again tell me why I should have them book my next trip??? Having a Senior Agent does not easy my mind because I had the manager taking care of the situation in the first place when it was incorrectSo they wont give me a ticket...that is fineSo how besides booking thru this company will I be compensated for this awful experience?
