I have communicated with Ms*** and confirmed the refund had been processed and received

there is no refund due. There is a difference between a credit and a refund. I show you called to change your ticket. Per the rules of the airlines you have to pay the difference in the fare as well as the penalty. We also charge to do the ticket exchange. In this case the fare was the same. As a courtesy we refunded $back to the credit card

I am just asking for a full refund

We were able to locate the unused ticket. A refund has been processed. Issue resolved

In order to expedite this process and not have the customer wait 8-weeks, our company is going to mail him a check for the balance, and then have the airline reimburse us on their payout schedule. Please have the customer confirm his full name how it appears on his bank account and the mailing address we should ship the check to. Tell us why hereI have researched Mr*** complaint. When you request to use multiple credit cards it can be a problem
Most websites will not allow it as they do not have the technology. I am sure the airlines direct will not allow it. Mr. *** was
given a quote of $1770.00. He requested we run $on one card$on another card and the remaining $on the third card
We were able to run the 1st cards for $and $480.00. When the agent tried to run the remaining $the credit card declinedHe said he had no other cards to use. When he realized he did not have enough to cover the trip the previous charges were voided. This is a problem with the credit card companyNot us.
We understand Mr*** frustration. However this was unavoidable. The funds will go back to his account generally within 7-business days if not before. This could not have been avoided. I find we did nothing wrong in this situation and were only trying to help him

I do not recommend using this company to book an airline flight I was directed to this company as one option through Kayak.com I booked my flight on a weekend, but did not immediately receive a confirmation The small print said it might take hours to receive confirmation On Monday I called Smartfares and was informed my flight was confirmed by the airline and I was given a confirmation number and received an email from Smartfares with a confirmation number Two days later, my flight was cancelled by American Airlines, who told me Smartfares never purchased the ticket In the mean time I had received an email (no phone call ever) telling me the price of my ticket was not the price quoted, but actually about $more I was offered a $discount, so essentially, they could get me the flight for $more than originally quoted I declined the offer
