I have confirmed Ms*** refund has been processed. Refund of $processed on Aug 14, 2017. It appears they were waiting for the airlines to refund one of the tickets before we could refund the clientI have emailed Ms** with her refund information. I have also
advised her to contact me directly has I have some questions regarding her booking

She has been given instructions on how to correct her name

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.They refer to themselves as a reservation center not travel agency- and do not disclose agent fees, making it a bait and switch or lying to the public- unfair to us the consumers I want a full refund and don't want to deal with them ever again If you Google LBF travel you will find a website of pissed off consumers It is a known fact they operate this way I'm not sure why they are even listed through Revdex.com to start with I have tried repeated times to talk or negotiate with without any success- their answer is that it's not an agent fee, that it's part of the ticket price That is a flat out lie- I have reached to Air Canada and was advised that Lbj travel buys bulk tickets then resale for higher prices plus a few I was never told about this fee otherwise I wouldn't be dealing with this As a consumer I am left without my rights of services not delivered and chargedI want a full refund

I spoke to Ms*** personally. I apologized for her frustration and explained that it was a misunderstanding on our agents side
We refunded the $fee to change the name. Also as a one time courtesy refunded an additional $back to her credit card
We feel this case has been resolved

I had people who were rude and disrespectful and it wasnt even my faultIt was your company'sYet im the one who is getting the shaft on this deal...why???)

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowWhat I booked with SmartFares was a roundtrip ticket with *** Airlines. They offered me equivalent tickets with United Airlines. United Airlines' fares are in general $lower than *** Airlines' fares for the same routing. This is bait and switchSmartFares put the burden on their customers to micro-manage what they are supposed to do in that their customers have to constantly check if the tickets are issued or not. By locking you in as a prospect through getting your credit card information, it is less likely that you will book with other travel agencies in the event where the fares that they offered increases because the original reservation is "canceled by the airline"

I (foolishly) made an airline reservation through this company advertising a very good price After several hours, I had not received a confirmation or any information on the reservation, and was not able to find a reservation I then booked on another airline After that, I found that they had charged my credit card for a reservation, and that there was a flight reserved I called the company several times both the day of the reservation and the next day to cancel, and they assured me that the flight was cancelled and that I wouldn't be charged They were extremely rude to deal with
In checking online, there was still a reservation and I was still being charged Finally, I got a written confirmation of cancellation, and they have subsequently continued to charge my credit card for the full amount

I understand feeling frustrated. I believe this was a case of misunderstanding. I will listen to the call. If I determine *** *** was misled we will refund the $

I just got note indicating that you and lbftravel did not receive the requested information regarding this complaintAs per the thread below I provided the requested information in 10/to LBF travel and on 10/to youI am re-attching the documents to this threadAs far as I understand the case is headed for arbitration on 1/I filled out the attached formSo in a nutshell the original ticket price as per the 'confirmation' for the ticket that was never issued was $(as per the e-mail from 8/below)Because LBF refused to honor the price this confirmed ticket that was never issued we had to buy tickets for $3,for a next day departure (see attached cc statement and flight confirmation) go back home and depart on the next dayI am expecting a refund for the difference i.e$After explaining the situation to *** LBF went mute and falsely claimed (as per the arbitration document) that I did not provide the requested information.Please let me know if you need any further informationKind Regards***
